This place used to be called Redlands complete auto care
But changed the named to RCAR after the owner jacob got sued
He got sued for a practice he stills uses to this day
They bait you with a free diagnostic exam
then they find what appears to be the problem
puts the part in without you asking your permission first
then charges you for it
They would also loosen bolts and drain fluid
in order to get you to come back
every time u fix something, something within a matter of weeks
would break and you'd have to come back again
I finally realized what he was doing
and took my car to midas
and have never had recurring car problems since
Jacob your an absolutely sick human being for ripping people off
you've been doing this for many years and your still doing it in 2020

With that being said there no one by the name of Jacob at this business my name is juan I am the owner and would like to take the chance to straighten any misunderstandings if there is anything I can do please let me know there is always room for improvement I personally apologies for this matter and would like to ask you to give us the Opportunity to fix it

On Friday 6/7/19 at 08:00 am, I had taken my vehicle, a 2008 Infiniti *** to RCAR AUTO REPAIR due to my A/C not working. At 8:30 the person behind the counter identified as *** told me that I needed an A/C Compressor. *** quoted me a refurbished Compressor for $390.00, an Orifice filter $25.00 and after installation it would cost $770.00. I agreed and waited. At 10:30 *** told me that I need a Tydem which would cost $340.00. I told him that's more than my budget and to cancel the service and that I would just leave. *** stated that they already replaced the A/C Compressor. I told him I was sitting across from where my car was parked and at no time did I see anyone change it. He said yes they changed it and said he could get me a Tydem for $130.00 which would bring my total to $900.00. I agreed only since I was told that the A/C Compressor had already been replaced. At 2:58 pm, I paid $900.00 and drove away only for my car to start blowing warm air moments later. I called the shop and informed *** who told me to bring it back. He said the mechanic forgot to adjust the control and also the wire wasn't all the way in. *** then told me that I need a harness and that he would cover it for free and would have the part in on Monday. *** said he programmed the car to be in safe mode so the Tydem doesn't burn out. I drove home, with no working A/C. I still had doubts about the A/C Compressor being replaced, so when I got home, I marked the silver A/C Compressor in my vehicle. On Monday 6/10/19, I dropped off my vehicle at the shop. I called during the week only to be told that they were trouble shooting it. On Monday 6/17/19 I went to the shop and told *** they had the vehicle long enough. *** said he had to fire one of the mechanics due to burning out the Tydem and that the vehicle would be ready Thursday. On Thursday he called and said they just got the part. On Friday 6/21/19, I picked up my vehicle only to discover a black A/C Compressor is now installed in my car, which was replaced after.
