$1500.00 still owed from work that was done that he verbally agreed to have me do. The work was at the north gable which was covered up with roofing. When the roofing was pulled back the wall was in real bad shape. That is when I called Mr. [redacted] and asked him to come look at the problem. He said he could not. I gave him a price of $1500.00 and he said to go ahead and do the work. Work was completed. Mr. [redacted] is going to get an invoice for $1500 plus interest until R.D. Cox Masonry is paid for the work completed.
Payment terms are 30 days.
Finance charge of 2% per month on unpaid balance.

The executed contract (previously provided, and attached now)for $8000 was for "labor and material" and stated "any alteration or deviation from above specifications involving extra costs will be executed only upon written orders". When he sent an invoice for $9500 (attached) after I had already paid the $8000 contract amount, the invoice stated "labor and materials". I was with Block when he measured and inspected the scope of the work prior to preparing the contract, and I promptly honored my full responsibilities under the contract.

Obviously Mr. [redacted] agreed to the extra work verbally or R.D. Cox Masonry would not have done the work. R.D. Cox Masonry will continue to send invoices with interest every month until the amount is paid in full. ::
