R&D Handynan Services stained my back yard deck on 4/27/19. The deck is pealing everywhere and getting worse by the day. It is completely ruined. I paid them $1000.00 to do the job. The owners *** have been completely unresponsive to my concerns.
These are pictures that we received.when we was done doing this job jill was told not to put anything on deck as it takes up to 30 days to cure.as you can see in one of the pictures they have taken table up on deck all ready as the chairs are the only thing on the ground still.the peeling of stain is from sliding this table on the deck. We did go over there again and we saw that it was up on the deck as well.once again they was told not to put anything on deck until it was cured.the peeling of stain is from walking on it sliding stuff across it. The light board that is on deck is from a board being replaced as we let them know this would stand out since it is new.we also have emails of us responding to them. We were paid when the job was done and both admitted that it looked great.

I am rejecting this response because:
The areas of peeling are widespread and diffuse. New areas start to bubble and peel all the time. There is peeling in areas where furniture has never been. I am enclosing a picture to show the extent of damage. They never told me to stay of the deck for 30 days. They actually told me 24 hrs. I paid them before the job was done and thats on me because they took the check and cashed it immediately. They begrudgingly came back to complete the job after I called and complained. They did the bare minimum and left.I invite anyone to come out here to see for yourself the mess of my deck
Also, they are calling me ***... that is not my name... have they confused me with someone else ??

The paint was coming off because Client did not wait 30 days to go on deck. On the other hand the deck was not for $1000 there was a range of things done for this whole price not just the deck.including pulling weeds, gravel added, a window fixed ,screen door put in and a privacy fence painted as well. This was all done for $1000. So the staining was not $1000. A deal was ran for staining any thing someone had for $275 and that's what the contract says that she signed the rest of the money was for the other stuff that was done.

I am rejecting this response because:
They installed a screen door for $61.98. They did a rock application for 58.50. They said they could not fix the the window. The other work they did was staining the deck and the privacy fence for a total of $879.52. So lets say the privacy fence was for $439.76 and the deck for 439.76. The mess of my deck had nothing to do with furniture or anything else. EVERY DAY it continues to bubble and peel. It is totally ruined and deck must be completely redone ! So to be fair I will accept $439.76 for the deck
