We found Ronnie finding him through Home Advisor which had excellent reviews. We hired him to mulch our berry bushes and flower gardens, remove brush, and lay pine needles around our trees. He gave us a verbal quote of 1200. He also said he would go even lower to get the job. We hire Ronnie. Well after 2 calls and two weeks later, after the start date, he shows up and partially blows the leaves and lays down some pine needles, in the meantime our gardens are being over grown with weeds. The for the next two weeks he shows up sporadically laying down more pine needles, while weeds are infesting our gardens. he the tells me he added more needles than we agreed and if it is ok to go over the budget. I say ok but I want to see a firm price and an end date before anything else is done. I also ask him to please remove the brush as we agreed. He comes and removes the brush partially, leaves the rest. I get an invoice on April 17th. He wants 2000 for the pine needles and removing part of the brush. Then wants another 850 to remove the rest of the brush and take care of the flower bed and berry bushes. That is over double what he quoted with half the work agreed upon. And now we have wild onions and weeds coming up through the pine needles. Then he states he quoted me 1400 to 1600. Very, very dishonest and deceptive business practice. Then he informs me if I don't pay him by May 1st he will put a lien on my property. Really! This guy is crook! Make sure you don't mistake this guy for the Stone Creek Landscaping in Cary. They are not the same guy. This guy is bad news.
