Complaint[redacted] the owner of the company came out to service my 2 drink machines on October 30, 2014. He said he serviced both machines but one of them he told me I needed a new dollar validator and he could get me a refurbished one for a lot cheaper than I could get a new one. I wrote him a check for $269.00 and I have never received the dollar validator for my machine. I have attempted contact by phone and by email. The one time I spoke with him a month after the service and he said he had shipped it out but he would track it and let me know. I have attempted to contact multiple times and still haven't heard anything or seen my part. 3 months later both of my machines are not working properly any more.Product_Or_Service: 10/30/2014Desired SettlementI would like the dollar validator I paid for as well as him to come out and repair the machine properly. If he won't do this I expect a refund for the $269, what I paid for the dollar validator. I'll eat the $200 I paid for the repair.Business Response Customer did not pay $200 to repair a validator or install a validator, repairs were made to two vending machines so there is nothing to "eat" regarding the customers false, malicious and misleading statements.We shipped the validator to the customers address as agreed to with the customer - which is not normal but the customer is very far away. It never came back but was not shipped signature required so we can't prove whether the customer actually received it or not - [redacted] says it was dropped at their door. It is our estimation that if the customer is malicious enough to insinuate that we ripped them off for $200, it is more than possible that they did in fact receive the validator we shipped them.We will refund the $269 and actually be the party "eating" time, money and headaches.Refund will be processed within 30-60 days.Consumer Response I would like the refund of $269 for the validator that was not received. I never received the shipment nor tracking information that I could find out where [redacted] dropped the package.

I bought a[redacted] bill acceptor from [redacted], RDU Vending, which he guaranteed to work, it did not. On January 28 I returned, still no refund.I have sent [redacted] multiple texts including the return tracking number and sent RDU Vending multiple e mails including the same info. At this point Mr. [redacted] will not return any communications I have sent to him/RDU Vending. The cost of the acceptor was $79.97, I cannot do anything as I live in [redacted] and because he will not return my texts/e mails I am at a loss of what to do, please help, thank you.Desired Settlement$79.97, cost of acceptor.Business Response Contact Name and Title: RDU VendingContact Phone: [redacted]Contact Email: [redacted]We do not accept returns on bill acceptors as per our policy page which customer agrees to when purchasing - we only accept exchanges during the warranty period of 30 days which was well over when customer asked for refund. All acceptors are tested thoroughly before shipping.Exchanges are only accepted with an authorized RMA number which customer never requested or provided.This business transaction is settled matter and we expect a full deletion of this complaint.Consumer Response I spoke to Mr[redacted] during the installation of bill acceptor within first 7 days of purchase. I explained to him that the acceptor was not working and could not get it to work. Mr[redacted] suggested that we try the acceptor in my other vending machines to see if it would work there which took time. I sent acceptor back in a timely manner. I was told by Mr[redacted] that he would send our money back and that he would take care of it. Mr[redacted] would not and has not returned any of my texts or emails so of course it is out of his warranty period. I'm not an unreasonable man, but, a refund is owed to me or a replacement should be sent. As of now Mr[redacted] has the defective unit and the money that was paid for a working acceptor. Thank you [redacted]Final Business Response Again, we only replace in 30 days as per our policy page. This was an online purchase through our website. We have always assisted customers with their tech support issues for free. I understand it took some time for the customer to diagnose their issue although I have no idea how and when but this customer only contacted support one (1) time in 60 days by phone with tech support issue.Previous to sending this message we located the said sent back acceptor, unboxed and tested. The validator appears to work fine. So, I am not sure I understand.We would still be willing to still replace unit if customer wishes but again, this transaction is a few months old and out of coverage. This is only a show of good faith to resolve this complaint. I have issued RMA number (below).RMA# [redacted]

Non-responsive to Phone, Email requestsIn March, I sent a bill acceptor and a coin mechanism to RDU Vending in Garner, NC. I included my check for $178.00 for the repairs. They were send via [redacted] and I have tracked them. They arrived at RDU vending on March 17th. I have not had any response. I have called and left voicemail messages and I have Emailed via their website. I don't know if they have closed, if somebody died or if there is another issue, but I would like to get my equipment back.Desired SettlementReturn my equipment unrepaired and I will find another vendor to service for me.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted]Contact Phone: [redacted]Contact Email: [redacted]We never received or signed for a package from this person.
