I'd like to address the complaints by the [redacted] family First of all, this was not a job done as a business/customer thing There was no contract, and this was done as a favor to the [redacted] family as a friend The funds that they paid were not to myself, or my business, but to the hands who helped out We put this roof on over the course of nights (during the night, not the day during my business hours) as a favor Nothing has been good enough in the ensuing days, and they have complained non stop I do not feel that anything done at this point will be good enough, nor should I have to The money they received was for a settlement, and if they want to have it redone, let them actually pay someone to do it We went above and beyond, basically doing the job for free, only to feel zero appreciation They even went so far as to deduct from the final payment because the materials were less than what I charged to begin with! Never mind that I picked up the materials, miles away and delivered them as well This is a ridiculous and unfounded claim on the part of the ***'s, who are doing nothing more but seeking to destroy a business because they are angry over nothing Nothing else will be done on our part This was not a business transaction In the end, the threats, whether physical, text, or email threats, are enough to keep me from returning to their home

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Regards, Thank You, for refunded my $2, I can live with [redacted] ***

Hello, here are photos of what I have sent to Mrs ***As you can see, it was "unclaimed"I asked the PO what that meant, and they said that no one would take it"See attached document for photo" As you can see, this was dated October The inside contains a copy of the contract and a cashier's check"See attached document for photo" On the contract, which was signed by Ms***, it actually states that the deposit is NON REFUNDABLE, which we looked past We did keep a fee, because the materials had already been purchased, and we're specifically for her jobOn our website, it also states that we will keep that amount if changes are made"See attached document for photo" Please let me know if I have done enough to prove our end Thank you, [redacted]

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: there was a contract---and I have photos of where the roof was not sealed
Regards,
*** ***

The "contract" in question was written in order for the ***'s to receive compensation from their insurance company Again, this job was done as a friend Seriously, who else would have done an job for 1000.00??? Common sense would tell you the answer to this There will be ZERO follow ups after this response This claim is ridiculous, regardless of the pictures, the statements, etc from the *** family They are seeking to defame someone who used to be considered a friend, when they should be grateful that someone did the job for so cheap in order for them to cash in on the insurance payment Maybe they should contact the insurance company and have them come out and explain to them who they paid, the amount, etc and what can be done about it They made thousands of dollars from a favor on our part The end

cashier's check. "See attached document for photo" On the contract, which was signed by Ms. [redacted], it actually states that the deposit is NON REFUNDABLE,  which we looked past.  We did keep a 250.00 fee, because the materials had already been purchased, and we're specifically for her job. On our website, it also states that we will keep that amount if changes are made. the  hands who helped out.  We put this roof on over the course of 3 nights (during the night, not the day during my business hours) as a favor.  Nothing has been good enough in the ensuing days, and they have complained non stop.  I do not feel that anything done at this point will be good enough, nor should I have to.  The money they received was for a settlement, and if they want to have it redone, let them actually pay someone to do it.  We went above and beyond, basically doing the job for free, only to feel zero appreciation.  They even went so far as to deduct 40.00 from the final payment because the materials were 40.00 less than what I charged to begin with!  Never mind that I picked up the materials, 40 miles away and delivered them as well.  This is a ridiculous and unfounded claim on the part of the [redacted]'s, who are doing nothing more but seeking to destroy a business because they are angry over nothing.  Nothing else will be done on our part.  This was not a business transaction.    In the end, the threats, whether physical, text, or email threats, are enough to keep me from returning to their home.
