[redacted] moved out.[redacted] asked and received a short extension when the first year was over. If he was so unhappy why did he want to extend the lease? This apartment is old but it was very clean when [redacted] moved in. Why would he pay $1500 for the unit if it was as dirty as [redacted] claims? We would never offer a rental home without making sure it was in good condition. Would [redacted] have rented it if it was in the condition he left it lor $1500 per month? Please look at the before and after photos. Please let me know if you have any other questions.Natalie A.

Dear [redacted],This letter is in response to your letter of 7/13/2015 concerning #[redacted].The apartment was in very clean condition when it was rented to [redacted]. The building is old but the unit was ciean. There were no notes in the inspection report submitted by [redacted] about the apartment being dirty because it was not dirty. The reason the money was withheld was because the work needed to be done because it was returned in dirty condition.Natalie A[redacted]Associate BrokerThe maids who cleaned up have rewritten their bill and it is enclosed. Please look at photos of the condition before [redacted] moved in and after [redacted] moved out.Thank you and let me know if you have any other questions.Natalie A

I am rejecting this response because:
1. Photos of the apartment before     a. Those photos are of extremely bad quality, from looking at those photos one cannot say anything about how clean the surfaces are.     b. The photos are shot from afar, they do not show any details similar to the photos after2. Photos of the apartment after     a. Most of them are as well of extremely bad quality not allowing one to make any conclusions about the surfaces being dirty or not     b. They do not have any date stamps and could have been taken at any time     c. As an example - the toilet was perfectly clean when I returned the keys, nothing was said about the toilet during the walk-through, and now all of a sudden at is listed as a problem     d. I have never opened the stove (as I do not use it), and now the pans (that I have never seen) are claimed to be damaged by me (while they were obviously damaged by the previous tenants)     e. Bathroom problems are in fact listed in the Property Inspection Report (though placing the copy of that particular page upside down makes it more difficult to read, for some reason that is the only page that is upside down)
3. Property Inspection Report     a. I was instructed to fill in the problems that are "permanent" - not fixable by cleaning (like water stains on the floor for example). The apartment is not "brand new", and we discussed that it would be unfair to treat it like one, so I definitely did not fill in any removable dirt found that I have cleaned later on     b. In fact some of the problems were listed4. Lease extension     a. The reasons I received an extension are totally irrelevant. They have nothing to do with the apartment condition and are based only on my moving to the next place timelines and other personal reasons.5. The fact that I agreed to pay $1500 monthly     a. $1500 is (or at least was) a good price for the apartment with the features that it has. It was not in the unbearably dirty conditions when I moved in same as it was not in unbearably dirty conditions when I moved out (in fact it was much cleaner)6. Invoice from [redacted] Cleaning Service     a. Invoice does not have any information about the address of service and therefore cannot serve as a legitimate document proving that the service happened and was paid for7. Invoice from [redacted] Home Improvement     a. The document has 7 job items done. Natalie A[redacted] charges me only one of them. If the apartment was in such a good condition as she states - why would she have to do all those 7 items? If all of them are "my fault" - why is she charging me with just one? The only conclusion I can make from that list is that the apartment required maintenance due to normal tear and wear conditions, and she is just trying to put some costs on me, which is a rip off attempt.8. We had an agreement after the walk-through on what I would do before returning the keys, and I did even more than we agreed upon. That was the whole purpose of the walk-through together in the first place. After I returned the keys (and was no longer able to check whether additional complaints are true and to fix anything in the unlikely case some of them are true) Natalie came up with additional complaints.Overall I am still sure it is an attempt of the realtor to put some of the normal maintenance costs on the shoulders of a tenant and this way to increase profit. It is totally unfair, and I am not satisfied with the buisiness reply.

I am rejecting this response because:
Instead of addressing my comments with real answers RE-MAX agent just typed statement (not answers), like:1a, 2a, 2c, 2d, 2e, 3b, 5a, Some of the RE-MAX agent comments were irrelevant, like:1b comment says: PHOTOS WERE TAKEN AFTER YOU MOVED OUT. Within item 1 I was speaking about the photos taken before I moved in.2d comment says: YOU EVEN RENEWED THE LEASE.Totally irrelevant as discusses in item 4.6a comment says: I WILL CHECK IN THE OFFICE IF BILL HAS ADDRESS ON IT.  I WILL SEND
IT TO YOUSo the invoice the agent provided is not the real one? It even had handwriting pretending to be a note to the accountant to pay. If now a different invoice/bill is provided - it's credibility will be questionable.
another comment for that item was: I WILL SEE MD BELTRAN A EWhat does that mean? That the agent will try to obtain another paper from that company? Was the first one real?7a comment says: OWNER HAS NOT MADE ANY MONEY ON THE CLEAN UP--WORKERS WERE PAIDI did not say anything about the owner making any money, I was speaking of other things.8 comment says: THERE WAS NO PROFIT ON THE CLEANING --MONEY WAS USED TO PAY CLEANING
PEOPLEI was not speaking anything about profit on cleaning, I was speaking about the try to get money from me to pay for the tear and wear obtained before my lease.Overall I think by not addressing the points that I have made and writing irrelevant answers the RE-MAX agent is just trying to pretend RE-MAX is answering my points (while in reality it is not).I think that at this point a Revdex.com agent should look into our case - consider my questions, RE-MAX answers, "evidence" provided - and make a decision whether the answers are relevant to the questions and the evidence is credible (in my opinion - totally not).

Some of the RE-MAX agent comments were irrelevant, like:
1b comment says: PHOTOS WERE TAKEN AFTER YOU MOVED OUT.
Within item 1 I was speaking about the photos taken before I moved in.
2d comment says: YOU EVEN RENEWED THE LEASE.
Totally irrelevant as discusses in item 4.
6a comment says: I WILL CHECK IN THE OFFICE IF BILL HAS ADDRESS ON IT.  I WILL SEND
IT TO YOU
So the invoice the agent provided is not the real one? It even had handwriting pretending to be a note to the accountant to pay. If now a different invoice/bill is provided - it's credibility will be questionable.
another comment for that item was: I WILL SEE MD BELTRAN A E
What does that mean? That the agent will try to obtain another paper from that company? Was the first one real?
7a comment says: OWNER HAS NOT MADE ANY MONEY ON THE CLEAN UP--WORKERS WERE PAID
I did not say anything about the owner making any money, I was speaking of other things.
8 comment says: THERE WAS NO PROFIT ON THE CLEANING --MONEY WAS USED TO PAY CLEANING
PEOPLE
I was not speaking anything about profit on cleaning, I was speaking about the try to get money from me to pay for the tear and wear obtained before my lease.
