The fact remains one alloted, assigned space when two people are on a lease is not sufficient. The promotion on carports was offered in November  and only half off for two months, a very limited duration when leases are 12-15 months. Additional parking spaces need added to the front buildings. Restricted areas need to be more clearly marked with painted lines and additional signs. The picture above shows the offending area and there is no indication of restrictions there. It also indicates room for additional spots to be added in front of the tree, provided no presence of plumbing, gas lines. I challenge you to park 300m away from the leasing office and your home for a week and experience the inconvenience. Our neighbor's car was towed this week as well, so clearly you have not done enough. Your to do list: 1. Refund the tow fee ( I'm sure you received a commission) 2. Clarify restricted areas 3. Add additional spaces to our building Revdex.com:

having his vehicle towed. There were multiple notifications sent out to our residents asking for their cooperation with our parking policy, unfortunately parking continued to be an issue and enforcing towing of vehicles was our last resort. Many residents were parking along curbs, which would have caused an issue should an emergency vehicle ever needed to drive through certain areas of the community. In addition, in other locations residents were parking their vehicles on the lawn causing thousands of dollars in damage to the community grounds.   We do offer an assigned parking space to each apartment home and have recently offered carport rentals at a discounted rate in an effort to assist our residents ability to access the reserved parking.   Unfortunately, there have been other resident's vehicles that were towed and we have not refunded their money so we cannot refund Mr. [redacted] his money.  We hope that he can understand our position and know that we are always looking for ways to improve our resident's experience and will continue to explore any new parking options that may be feasible for the community.   Thank you,     Destini Cane, ARM® Property Manager Somerset Lakes Apartments 3202 E. 76th Street Indianapolis, IN 46240 317-253-5219 (phone) 317-722-2445 (fax) www.liveatsomersetlakes.com Gene B.
