After a recent real estate transaction had me dissatisfied with the service I received from one of their agents I contacted local leaders of REMAX Town & County I was serving as Power of Attorney for my elderly mother in the sale of her property.I contacted RMT&C leadership on two occasions and shared many details of problems I had experienced to include transparency issues lack of counsel and negotiation mishandling of client documentation misrepresentation of services to be provided etc Also I detailed more serious problems to include knowingly falsifying a public record difficulties securing the property and client advocacy issues - failing to disclose pertinent information and failing to recognize andor protect us from a blatant conflict of interest I asked RMT&C for a refund to my mother of the Broker Service Fee which they describe as including costs associated with training for our agents to provide customers and clients with the highest level of homeowner

on 9/4/2017, and I am writing in response to the situation. As a Real Estate brokerage we have to follow very strict guidelines in reference to escrow deposits and how they are held. No one can receive any money unless both parties come to an agreement or we have a final court order. [redacted]'s deposit money shall stay in escrow until we have one or the other, that is the law. No one lied to this person, and if she seeks her deposit she must go through proper channels, as she was told. This is an unfounded complaint, and if your office needs more information please contact our office again. Thank youSent on: 9/5/2017 1:48:47 PMSent by: 173.161.194.106
