My first experience with this company: We were out celebrating my friend's birthday. We had a party of about 16 people, we were ordering plenty of food and drinks. This was a slow day for them, besides our party there was approximately 5 other customers. We asked our server if they could play some upbeat R&B music, the server told us that they don't control the music and they would have to speak with the manager. The server comes back to tell us that the manager denied our request. We then ask to speak to the manager. He comes out with this smug look on his face. He didn't greet us or anything. He rudely asked whats the problem. We weren't rude at all at first. We kindly explained to him that we were celebrating a birthday and that we wanted to know if he could play some upbeat R&B music. He said no because the music is on rotate. The only thing that it was rotating was old school wedding music since we had been there. They play Pandora on a laptop that is hooked up to the speakers and the station could have been easily changed. So after our request was denied he walked away. Next thing we know Kirk Franklin comes on playing gospel music. We then call the server over to change this because the last thing we want to do is sit in a bar drinking spirits and listening to gospel. The server goes back to the manager so he can turn this off and we over hear him say " Didn' t I tell they a** that I wasn't changing the D[redacted] music!", not knowing that gospel was playing. After that we explained to him that his attitude was terrible and we did not have spend any more money in their establishment, packed up our crew and left.
My 2nd experience: We were planning a surprise party for a friend. I called and spoke with an employee about reserving tables. Since she didn't know how this worked, she asked the manager. Instead of the manager getting on the phone and handling this situation like a manger should have, they communicated the answers to my questions through the employee. I asked did I need to come and pay anything at that time, they said no and I could pay they day of the party. I arrive on the day of the party, with decorations with me to set up and they tell me the tables have been sold to someone else. I request to speak with a manager. The kitchen manager comes out and says that he sold the tables to someone else and starts questioning me like I'm lying about speaking someone at the beginning of that week. After I disclosed who I spoke with and the arrangement that was set up he still did not try to accommodate us in anyway. He didn't suggest anything and everything we suggested was shot down ASAP. He was rude and did not exhibit any managerial skills. He didn't care at all that I had arrived there to pay for the tables, set up, or that I had invited several people. He didn't care or apologize for their miscommunication and unorganization with one another. Therfore I had to find another venue, go set up, and try to contact all those who I had invited.
My experience with this company has been anything but positive. The 2 managers that I have come in contact with exhibits arrogance, ignorance, poor communication skills with their staff, inability to resolve customer issues, the worst customer sertvice I have ever seen, and unorganization at an all time high. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone.
