ReachNow Reviews (%countItem)

The last time I used ReachNow was May 19, 2019. All of my trips had billed to my credit card, which has been on file since opening the app. The company abruptly shut its doors on July 17, 2019, so I closed my application recently when I realized I needed more space on my phone. Since that date, I have only received further communication from them to the extent that it says it "didn't have a valid card on file for me" on May 24, 2019 (which was odd, because it was the same card I had used to pay for my prior trips) and then a subsequent email on July 17th explaining that the company was ending its service effective immediately. I have not received any push notifications in the app, no emails, no phone calls or any correspondence. Then today, I received an email stating that I owed them $84.00. When I asked what the heck it was for, they said a parking ticket for parking in a private garage without paying in advance. The only garage I've ever parking in was the Wally Park where you're SUPPOSED TO PARK THE CARS when you drive to SeaTac airport. Now they are threatening to send me to collections this Friday if I don't reinstall the app and pay them money without any evidence that I actually owe them that money. This is absolutely disingenuous and I will not have my credit score compromised by some failed venture.

After fueling the vehicle, I was locked out of the vehicle in Wenatchee Washington for an hour in extreme hot weather because the vehicle would not start due to a signal malfunction. Unsafe engine problems when I arrived into Renton Washington, engine warning lights came on and vehicle had to be towed as the vehicle could no longer be driven with the current issue. I was booked into another vehicle and when I arrived at the airport, I spent nearly another hour trying to find this vehicle while on the phone waiting for reach now to assist in locating the vehicle. Could not locate the vehicle and reservation was cancelled and rebooked into another vehicle. This vehicle would not start, and I found out the battery was dead since another user left the headlights on. This was cancelled and I was booked into another vehicle. The vehicle had trash and stains on the windows and doors. Overall, my family and I lost trip time and I am in disbelief that reachnow is still charging me the same amount I had payed originally after what my family was put through. I am requesting reachnow refund my entire rental fee including the taxes that I was charged for. The vehicle that had the problems should also be taken out of service and a mechanic to check the problems before someone gets hurt. I hope that reach now can understand what we were put through today and provide me a full refund at the end of my trip due to this complete inconvenience, unsafe, and horrible experience my family had to endure today. This is the worst experience I ever had with any rental carsharing company. I hope to hear from anyone in management of reachnow regarding this issue. Reachnow needs to check all vehicle more often to ensure it is safe, reliable, clean, and ready for customers upon request. I am requesting a refund of my rental fee including taxes that I was charged for. Reachnow can do a better job helping customers by providing a reliable vehicles, safe vehicles, and cleaniness of vehicles.

Hi ***,

We are very sorry for the hour delay you experienced due to a low coolant light that came on in the vehicle you were using. Looking into your history I see that you had that car for 7 days and drove 1,065 miles and only paid $298.86. Normally, that rental would have been approximately $660.68 so you had a savings of $362.68. If you had to take alternate transportation to the new vehicle we are happy to reimburse that cost but we are unable to reimburse the full cost of the trip.

In addition, it is against our Membership Agreement to keep a car for longer than 5 days so please keep that in mind for future rentals.

Thanks,

Lindsay

Message For ReachNow:

Thank you for the response. I am well aware of the membership agreement. If you look closer at my reservation, I ended my trip right at 5 days and I DID NOT exceed the days and mileage allowable under the agreement, I rebooked the same vehicle before the coolant issue occurred which was within 2 days. please ensure you have the correct facts before responding to customer complaints. You have FULL responsibility on these issues as these vehicles belong to YOU, and you need to ensure these vehicles are SAFE and WELL MAINTAINED before allowing customers to use any of these vehicles, this can put customers in a dangerous situation which can cause injury or death while on the road. I will not proceed with this complaint any further, and I strongly urge ReachNow to provide safer and well maintained vehicles to customers to avoid further complaints or legal actions in the future. Any of you are welcome to contact me if you want to discuss this matter any further.

The one and only time I tried to us Reach now, it has been a disaster! Just to make a reservation, I sat on the phone with a very nice gentleman for over 40mins. I was on the phone with him so long that he gave me a $20 credit! That was on top of another $20 credit I had received as a referral. That all aside, I booked a car for a very early meeting I had, while my car was in the shop and was so nervous about the process that I actually called customer service at 6 AM (PT) To my luck and relief someone answered, that person, (who I am now assuming was Mike, this was based off a survey I received) assured me that I had nothing to worry about, and that I did NOT have to pay for parking as someone was going to be renting the car shortly.
This all took place on May 9th. Fast forward to June 22nd/ 23rd when I received notice that I had an outstanding ticket that was going to collections on June 26th! $75 and a ding against my credit score and insurance, AND I HAD NO IDEA WHY! Still no literature of WHY or HOW I got a ticket.

Only after 2 days and some 5+ hours in total on the phone, after talking with a NUMBER of people, did I finally get to talk to Tom, the floor manager who let me know that I could part in a 2-hour parking zone, but if no one booked the car after me that I was going to be submitted a ticket. Had I been given this knowledge, I would have taken all that extra time I had to go find a safer place to park.

ALL of that off to the side, I have never received anything from Reach Now to this time, other than 2-3 surveys.

ReachNow Response • Jul 08, 2019

Hi ***,

I'm so sorry to hear about the trouble you had with the first time you used ReachNow. Typically, we hold our members liable for finding appropriate and safe spots for our cars using our parking guidelines in the app and on our website. I did confirm that you called and were told you were okay to park where you were so I would be happy to pay the citation as a courtesy. I tried to find the citation online to pay it through the Seattle Municipal website but was unsuccessful as it is probably now in collections. Would you happen to have a bill from the collections agency so we can give them a call and make payment? If so, please send it to [email protected] to the attention of Lindsay and I'll get that paid straight away.

In the future, if you choose to use ReachNow again, please be sure to review our parking guidelines as the agents in our Member Support Center are not able to confirm that you are in a good spot.

I look forward to assisting you further.

ReachNow's app malfunctions and does not always allow for proper termination of a rental. When this happens, and it has happened 3 or 4 times now, I have called customer service once billed for a wrong amount and received a refund. The last time this happened, I was told that although their app malfunctioned and I was unable to end the rental AND unable to access their contact info (contained in the app) that I owe them $425.26 and they say they are unable to refund me. Their email mentioned sales reps should have educated me on how to handle this situation, but this never happened, even once, and I directed them to check the recordings of those calls to check. I previously was just asked for account info and given a refund. Yet now they tell me I should have somehow known something else was expected, and that this justifies the charges.

ReachNow Response • Jun 17, 2019

Hi ***,

Thanks for telling us about your experience. As a last time courtesy, we've adjusted that rental to reflect a $7.01 fare. You will receive the full $425.26 back in your account in the 1-5 business days.

With that said, to ensure your trips end properly please check that all windows and doors are closed and lock the car with your app or member key card. The most important part is to stay with the car until you see the doors lock and watch the LED light on the dash of the car and make sure it turns Green. If it doesn't turn Green you can check in the app for any potential reasons why your rental didn't end and try again. If it is possible it has something to do with mobile connection the Member Key Card doesn't rely on that connection and should lock the doors no problem. If you are unable to lock the doors/end trip with neither the app or Member Key Card, please call our Member Support Team immediately so they can end the rental on your behalf as we will not be able to make any further adjustments on your rentals. Between the app, your member key card and the knowledge that the LED light must turn green you shouldn't experience any further issues getting the rental to end on your own. When a rental is left running this not only means that you will continue to be charged but it also means that it is not available for other members to use/loss of revenue to ReachNow but maybe even more importantly the doors are left unlocked. When the doors are left unlocked while you are still in a rental someone can easily get in the car, turn the engine on and take it unless the battery dies first due to it being in a suspended state. All around it leaves all parties in a bad position that we try to avoid.

If you have any further questions on how to end a rental properly prior to your next trip, please call Member Support and they would be happy to walk you through it.

Best,

Lindsay

I created an account at reachnow.com. After I submitted my personal identifying information, the website provided additional specific information about the service provided by ReachNow LLC such that I was no longer interested in maintaining the membership relationship with the company. I both called and emailed customer service requesting that my account be deleted but I was told both verbally and in writing that ReachNow will not delete accounts.

Having been the victim of identity theft last year I am particularly compelled by the importance of my right to control my own personal identifying information. Nowhere was I warned that if I shared my personal information with ReachNow the company would keep it on file indefinitely regardless of my request. I am requesting that the Revdex.com compel ReachNow LLC to delete my account including all of my personal identifying information.

ReachNow Response • May 09, 2019

I had never used ReachNow before. Created an account a few weeks ago. Today, I went to use the service, and the app told me my account had been blocked. I contacted customer service to figure out why. The customer service rep, a lady who’s name I was not told, answered. She asked for my name and number and put me on hold to look up my account. A few moments later, she got back on the line and told me I had violated their member agreement and then she had to disconnect the phone call without any further explanation. I have not received any email or letters from this company, nor have I ever even used their services before. I sent them an email, with the same information as in this Revdex.com claim, and then placed another call to customer service. I waited on hold for twenty minutes, compared to the first call which was just a couple minutes before the current call, before realizing they were not planning on picking up my call. My concern is that they are initiating, or have initiated, legal action against me, for a reason unbeknownst to me, because why else would the customer service rep end a call with as little communication as she possibly could manage. I have no idea what’s going on, or how to proceed with the situation.

ReachNow Response • Apr 19, 2019

Hi ***,

We are so sorry for the experience you had with our Member Support Center. All ReachNow accounts go through a security review upon registration and even throughout someone's membership. It appears that your account was accidentally blocked for security concerns when it shouldn’t have been. This caused our Member Support Center to conduct the call as if you were attempting to gain access to our vehicles in a deceptive way. We see that this is not the case for you so we removed the hold from your account. In order to get your account activated, you would need to upload a valid debit or credit card again as the first one you uploaded was declined.

We are so sorry for any inconvenience caused and for the experience you had when trying to get some help from our team. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help.

Best,

Lindsay

On March 23rd I used a reachnow and did not realize I was outside of the home area parked outside of a winery in Woodinville. I called customer service immediately and they let me know that there was a $50 fleet fee if I chose that option for their team to come and pick it up. Reachnow ended my trip for me and locked the vehicle. On April 3rd I received an impound citation with fees for towing of $354.27. I was not parked illegally which they confirmed. They never let me know that the fleet would not make it in a timely matter, they only told me about the fee. After going back and forth with several customer service agents, they couldn’t even tell me when a fleet team was dispatched…only when the car got towed which was the following day. They said I was responsible for the fees. I contacted the winery owner, John, and he said who talked to the tower who said ReachNow sent the tow. Even though they told me about this so-called fleet, they sent a tow truck instead and lied about it. They never once mentioned they sent the tow truck, they tried to say the city of Woodinville did or perhaps the winery. I was completely mis-lead and this company is anything but trustworthy. It is horrible to lie to customers. While they have now said they will just charge me the $50, it is only because I caught them in the lie. Until I figured it out, they were not budging on the tow amount. At this point, they have wasted so much of my time passing me around to different people and lying to me, I don't think they should charge me anything at all. I have already deleted the app but they tried to charge me the $50 without officially closing the case and without my consent. This is horrible business practice.

ReachNow Response • Apr 10, 2019

has been a ReachNow member since 9/13/2016 and we have many documented conversations with her throughout her tenure in which we educate her on how and where to properly end a trip. On March 23, 2019 K took a car outside of the home area and called our Member Support team to advise us that although she was outside of the home area with our vehicle she was not in the condition to return it. Ending a drive outside our home area is prohibited in our Membership Agreement in section 5.8:

“5.8 Ending a Drive. You will end each Drive within the Home Area of the city in which such Drive began (unless the Drive was reserved through the Reserve, in which case you will end the Drive pursuant to the instructions in the FAQs) or as permitted by the FAQs. In order to end a Drive, you will, after safely parking the Carsharing Vehicle and closing the roof and windows, lock the Carsharing Vehicle using your Member Key Card or the App. ReachNow may terminate any Drive without prior notice to you if ReachNow determines, in its sole discretion, that: (a) you have violated this Agreement, (b) there may be fraudulent activity in connection with such Drive, or (c) terminating the Drive is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of ReachNow or a third party.”

Since our members always come first, we do try to work to an agreeable solution for anyone stuck in a bad situation which is what our Member Support team attempted to do with K. Despite her breaking our Membership Agreement, we wanted to help. Our agent mistakenly quoted K $50 for the retrieval and return of the vehicle. This conversation was not accurate and the ReachNow Headquarters team was not aware of the conversation and sent K an email warning of an impending charge in the amount of $354.27. This was the actual cost of the tow ReachNow incurred due to K leaving the vehicle outside of the home area. K promptly contacted us before we processed the charge and told us what she was quoted so we immediately changed the dollar amount to the $50 that she was promised it would be. With that adjustment, we educated K of the correct end trip procedure outlined in the Membership Agreement above. We also told her that if she abandoned a vehicle outside of the home area in the future she would be responsible for the full cost of the tow as outlined in our Membership Agreement. And lastly, we told her how ReachNow retrieves vehicles left outside of the home area and we will reiterate here. ReachNow manages over 800 vehicles in the Seattle area. We have a team of people who manage our fleet also known as ‘fleet managers’. Our Fleet Managers dispatch different vendors depending on the need of the vehicle. If a vehicle needs gas, they dispatch our gas vendor. If the vehicle needs to be cleaned, they dispatch our fleet cleaning vendor. If the vehicle needs to be moved, they dispatch our preferred tow company to move the vehicle.

In short, K agreed to pay a certain amount for us to move the vehicle on her behalf in the amount of $50 and we honored that amount even though it resulted in a loss on our end. Both in the cost of the tow and the loss of revenue due to the car being offline from use by other members. ReachNow was fully within our rights to charge the full tow cost amount of $354.27, as outlined in our Membership Agreement and FAQ on our website regardless of a phone conversation with one of our agents. However, we did adjust the amount as a way to honor a long standing member. Further, we are not required to disclose to our members all of our internal processes in which we use to retrieve vehicles or any other internal process. Despite the fact that our rules surrounding where to park vehicles is not foreign to K and the recorded conversation where she admits to not being able to return our vehicle to the home area and agrees to pay $50 to have the car moved, we will waive all costs of the tow including the $50 with the agreement that K will no longer be a ReachNow member.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:

They did not immediately agree to adjust the towing fee to $50 when I called after receiving the $350+ towing expense. They only agreed to adjust them when I caught them lying about who towed the vehicle.

Sincerely

If I could leave a negative star count I would. Today I deleted this app from my phone. I picked up a car in downtown Portland to take to pick up my car at the shop. Once I got there the car wouldn't lock and it kept adding more time to my time. I finally called and found out I was outside of the parameter which is still inside the city limits. Every person I talked to blamed it on the city of Portland. I had to drive the car three miles back in the opposite direction and then call *** to come and get me. It cost me double what it should have plus the *** fee. There was absolutely no customer service to talk about reducing the amount. I kept asking for a manager and I was told I'll leave a message yet I can't guarantee that anyone will call you back. I heard this several times.
I won't use this company again and will make sure I let others know that their customer service is poor and their footprint very small in the area.

My car was vandalized in December and the repair shop had it longer than I'd originally expected. Instead of renting a car, I decided to use ReachNow's car share program as I have a clean driving record and would only be paying for a car when I needed it and not by the day. I filled out their application and was approved to be a member. I needed additional assistance applying to drive their cars because the app wouldn't scan my drivers license to submit. I emailed their support and they requested I send a photo of the front of my ID and the back and a photo of my face holding the ID for proof of identity. I sent them these via email on 1/3/19 and was not approved or denied. I received no notice or correspondence regarding the photos or the set up of the account. Suddenly on 2/1/19, I received an email that I'd been approved to drive and charged the $15 activation fee. Well, considering a month had gone by since I'd requested help and I've had my car back for 2 weeks now, I no longer need their services. I requested they cancel my account and refund the fee as they were MIA for a month and I didn't want to use a service with no communication. They have now refused to refund me the $15 and said it is now a credit on my account. I don't want the credit because I do not wish to use their services. I asked them to cancel the account and was told by one of their customer service members that they'd escalate the refund and now I'm being told under no circumstances will they refund the fee.

Hi ***,

My name is Lindsay and I am a Member Relations Manager in the Seattle HQ. I am so sorry for how long it took to get your account approved. We went ahead and refunded the Membership Fee as a courtesy. You should receive the funds back in your account in 1-3 business days as well as a refund email to your email address on file. We will leave your account active and approved so if you ever need a car your account will be ready to go!

I hope this resolves things for you. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do.

Best,

Lindsay

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I appreciate the swift response from the management team in Seattle.

Sincerely

Reach now is a car share service based out of Seattle WA. They have a fleet of vehicles in the Portland OR area and I have been a member since early 2017.

On Monday November 12th, I had a charge of 80.00 dollars for a trip I had taken the previous Saturday 11/10. The trip on 11/10 was supposed to have been free of charge ( I used a promotional code the company provided me).

I reached out to ReachNow via telephone on 11/12 and spoke to an agent, Mark H. He mentioned the issue seemed to be an error and was going to look into it. He emailed me that day letting me know the case was still pending.

A few days later I reached out to Mark via email. Received no response.

I waited a few more days and emailed general reachnow support ( this was on 11/15) asking for an update to my issue. I received 0 response.

A few weeks later I went to use the app for a rental and received a message I was ineligible to drive ( this was on the app). I contacted support via phone and they let me know they terminated my account for violating their terms. They did not disclose what the terms were but advised I was not allowed to contact them anymore.

I reached out via email again on 12/3, 12/4 and asked for clarification on my membership cancellation. I was ready to appeal the issue. Teona from customer service emailed me back and let me know the terms violated were attempts to re register my account.

The reason provided was vague and sounds like fraud to me. I am willing to appeal their reasoning and reinstate my account but the service advised me not to reach out to them anymore. I find their responses vague and irresponsible in not letting me appeal and or investigate this claim further

I do not believe I have done anything on my end to violate their terms of service and am looking to have Revdex.com look into investigating this issue/complaint on my behalf.

Hi ***,

I’m very sorry to hear that Member Support wasn’t able to resolve your billing inquiry after multiple attempts on your part to reach out. I attempted to process a refund but I am unable to do so with an open dispute with your bank. In order for me to process that, you can close the dispute with your bank and we will resolve the matter for you here with a full dispute of $81.

As far as your account, we will uphold our decision to keep your accounts suspended. There were discrepancies in the information provided which made it such that we couldn't verify the validity of the accounts.

We will await for you to let us know when the dispute has been withdrawn so we can process the refund.

I had just started using the service and parked their car share in some random lot around the corner from their offices one day to buy something inside the store. As I was about to jump back in and park the car on the street I was told by one of their workers (in uniform) that I could leave the car there as long as someone picks it up. I asked the people who own the lot if that was ok since the worker said people pick up cars quickly downtown, being as this guy was wearing a uniform and their office was literally around the corner I believed him. I don’t always park there, only when there’s absolutely no parking on the street. I never had a problem with it, neither did the people who owned the lot as I’ve asked them if it was ok. They told me after I leave someone grabs the car within couple hours. Never has their vehicle been ticketed or towed, so I’m under the assumption that the worker who told me it was ok to park there from time to time was correct, then out of the blue I’m charged for lot retrieval. I get no warning or anything, just a charge. I try to explain myself and they stop responding to emails. Of course as a consumer if I’m told something by whoever works for the company of the product I’m using, I’m going to assume it’s right. I was completely blind sided by this. Their first interaction they said “it is not reach nows responsibility to tell members where it is off limits to park” then why would someone wearing a full blown reach now uniform tell me it’s ok to park somewhere? And the last email they sent they said “this is a lot retrieval fee”. But how am I being charged a fee if a customer always picks up their cars? Why am I being immediately charged instead of being communicated to that what I did was wrong without me being able to give reason, as I was under the impression I wasn’t doing anything wrong since a literal WORKER told me what I did was ok?

ReachNow Response • Nov 13, 2018

Hi ***,

The $50 invoice was a penalty for having parked in a private lot after we sent you a warning email on August 14th. The email we sent in August is attached to this response but in summary, it was letting you know that "it’s okay to park temporarily in a private lot using our park and come back option, trips can only be ended in legal on-street parking spaces within the home area. This helps us avoid potential parking tickets and tows, as well as provides the best possible experience for other members when finding a vehicle and starting a trip." This means that as long as your rental remains open and you pay for the time you park in a private lot that it is okay. Ending a trip in a private lot is prohibited.

As a courtesy, we waived the fee that we charged you on Nov 9, 2018 so you should see that back in your account in 1-5 business days depending on your bank.

Please be aware that if you end your trip in a private lot again, you could be subject to this fee and any citations and/or towing costs as a result of this.

Best,

Lindsay

I rented one of the Reach Now cars. Their parking rules state that you can park anywhere there is parking for at least 1 hour. The spot we parked in was legal for 2 hours, and as far as I could tell totally OK with their policy. We asked a Meter Maid - they said it was all good. Then, apparently it was towed. because they just charge your card I don't get to see the ticket, or the circumstances of the towing - could have been the next day as far as I know. The total taken was $430...$150 of that is a service fee listed NOWHERE on their site (***).

The note they sent - "We know our members are sometimes in a hurry, and that mistakes can happen when trying to park our vehicles. Unfortunately, it looks like you ended your trip in a restricted zone or illegal parking space during one of your recent ReachNow rentals and the vehicle was towed. After researching the matter in depth, we found you were the last member to use the vehicle in question:
Rental End Date: [06/30]
Vehicle: ***
Issuing Authority: Lincoln Towing
Amount: $215.43
Handling Fee: $150.00
Tax Amount: $65.05
Total Amount: $430.48

Per our Membership Agreement, members are responsible for any charges incurred as a result of improperly parked vehicles. We wanted to let you know that you will be invoiced for the cost of this ticket within 48 hours of receiving this email. The charge will appear as “RideCell” on your credit card statement.
Because of the high costs of researching and redirecting impounds, ReachNow assesses a $150.00 processing fee. To avoid further impounds, remember to check all posted street signs before ending your trip. For a full list of where you can park, please visit Parking Guidelines in the About section of the ReachNow app or online at ***. If you believe you received this message in error, please reply directly to this email (***) to get in touch with the correct team.

Dear Reach Now Support,

Actually - it’s a parking space on 6/30. Perhaps there was an event the next day that wasn’t listed, when I parked the space was 100% within your parking restrictions. Nowhere on the signage around the parking space does it say the space converts to a tow away zone. Attached is a picture of the back in spaces I parked in and the signage. I’m happy to revisit the street and take further pictures if you’d like.

Additionally - where in the contract I signed did it list a $150 additional fee for towing?

I’m cc'ing the Revdex.com because I have filed a complaint and I’m not sure how to make sure this conversation is included.

Thank You

Thank you for your response.

When I parked we walked around, asked a meter person, and another parker - there was no signage that the street was to be towed. The tow report you sent doesn’t detail anything regarding an “event”? Please tell me how I can get details on the event that was happening. I also notice that the call was 3 hours after I parked, perhaps they posted notices after we left. Regardless, you originally stated that my space was " ***.” and, "According to Seattle DOT parking map, it shows a tow away zone in the same location where your trip ended” - not true. Now you state that it BECAME a tow zone 3 hours after I parked. Which is it?

And - Where in the legal paperwork that I signed does it claim I will be charged and additional $150 for towing? I don’t need a reason why you charge the fee - I am asking if I signed anything agreeing to this additional charge?

Hello ***,

The $150.00 is a fee ReachNow issues to compensate for the time and labor it takes for our field tech crew to locate, verify and ultimately retrieve the vehicle from the tow yard.

After further investigation, it appears that there was indeed an event taking place on 6/30. Unfortunately, Due to that event taken place on that day, Seattle's department of transportation does not allow parking in in temporary no parking zones for up to 24 hours in advance for events. Also, ReachNow's parking guideline expresses the same restriction: "You can't park in Temporary No Parking Zones that are restricted for events, construction, etc. Watch for signs and make sure you don't park in a space that will become temporary no parking zone within 24 hours".

I assure you, this vehicle wouldn't have been towed for any reason other than an event taking place.

Thank You

Hello ***,

Thank you for contacting ReachNow member support, I'd be glad to assist.

We received notification from Lincoln towing stating that one our vehicles have been impounded. Upon further research, it appears that you were the last liable member to have driven and parked prior to the impound taking place. The address in where this occurred is: ***. According to Seattle DOT parking map, it shows a tow away zone in the same location where your trip ended. Due to this information, we suspect if the vehicle was violating any other street parking rules, we'd receive a standard parking notice rather than an impound notice. For your complete discretion, I attached a copy of the Impound form for your review. Please see attached.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to ask.

Dear Reach Now,

I would like a copy of the ticket please. We parked in a space that was legal for 2 hours - there was no sign that said otherwise. And, we asked a parking permit person if it was legal…they said “yes”. So kEither we need to dispute this with the city, or with your rules. But, I don’t believe I am liable for this ticket. Please return the ticket and explanation to me. I will be visiting the parking location today for pictures to follow up with.

From your site:

Legal on-street parking spaces In Seattle, legal on-street parking is free, including meters and RPZs. Two things to watch out for: (1) only park in spaces that have a time limit longer than 1 hour, and (2) do not park in a space that converts to a bus zone, loading zone, food truck zone or any other time-restricted parking space. The only exception is in Downtown Seattle, where some restricted parking spaces are accessible outside of 1 hour before the space converts to a no-park zone. See the map of this area and read more in the “Time restricted parking spaces” section below.

Thank you,

Dear ***,

We know our members are sometimes in a hurry, and that mistakes can happen when trying to park our vehicles. Unfortunately, it looks like you ended your trip in a restricted zone or illegal parking space during one of your recent ReachNow rentals and the vehicle was towed. After researching the matter in depth, we found you were the last member to use the vehicle in question:

Rental End Date: [06/30]

Vehicle: BAC7733

Issuing Authority: Lincoln Towing

Amount: $215.43 Handling Fee: $150.00

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. As always, thank you for being a ReachNow member.

Worst car sharing company ever. Their app and customer service is the worst. They have placed my account on hold for unknown reasons.

Ive been using ReachNow Ride in Seattle since they started operating. They have placed my account on hold due to unknown reasons. I’ve tried contacting them several times but there has not been no attempt from their end to resolve my issue.
This company is has the worst customer service. I’ll be gladly sharing this experience with my co-workers and friends.

If there is no resolution to my issue I’d like a refund for all of my ReachNow transactions.

Signed up for a new membership on my mobile. Did not consent to a $15 one time set up fee. Saw in my bank account I had been charged a one time $15 fee. Contacted reach now for days at their support desk, got one response for the numerous emails I sent. I wanted to cancel my membership immediately and get my $15 back as I did not plan on the fee. They would not refund told me it was non refundable, said I could cancel with $0 back. Terrible customer service, slow and disrespectful.

On Saturday, March 31, I was locked out of a ReachNow car. In that car are my wallet, keys, and about $500 of other property. Over the course of 4 days and multiple phone calls, the company has provided inconsistent and misleading information regarding where my property is and when or how it will be returned to me. They refuse to connect me with the fleet management team that is supposedly responsible for recovering the property, and conclude every call by telling me that they will call back with an update, which they have not done once.

Hello,

I have resolved my complaint, ID. After multiple phone calls with the company today I was able to have them return my property.

***.

A car that I had been using for a few days was parked at a friends house with a new brown leather chair and my friends personal bags with wallet, house and car keys, car detailing kit that was a Christmas present. Also, among other things, was a pair of designer sunglasses and my iPad. Reachnow came and without a warning of any sort up and take the car and all the stuff in it. When I called them to to get the address of where the contents of the car are at and I was blantenly lied to several times and ultimately told that they dont have the stuff or the car.Several holes in her story do not add up like the fact that all of their cars or trucks with GPS and the BMW that I had rented cannot be towed because my neighbor saw the gentleman come take it. They told me that they had the car towed and that the tow driver took it to the wrong place and they still don't have the car to this day which is a blatant lie by employees who are trying to rip off customers by stealing their belongings .

On November 19th I used a BMW from this service and it dies on the freeway I5 and I was speaking to reach now to sort out what to do with the car and I'm asked what exit am I located at I said I don't know the lady procceded to tell me can you go check I 'll admit I got a little cussy cause I was afraid I was going to get hit by another car. I was then told by another reach now employee that they would call a tow truck THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR I was like NO IT'S NOT MY PERSONAL CAR IT BELONGS TO YOU AND NONE OF THIS IS MY RESPONSIBILITY TO MAINTAIN THE CAR AND NOW THEY ARE CHARGING ME FOR THIS $89 .
I HAVE HAD NUMEROUS PROBLEMS WITH THIS CROWD LIKE THEM HAVING THE TIMER RUN FOR DAYS AND CHARGED ME ALMOST $1000 AND THERE GPS STATING THERE'S A CAR LOCATED NEAR ME AND COME TO FIND OUT THERE'S NO CAR I BELIEVE THIS COMPANY TO DECEITFUL AND DISHONEST

Dear Revdex.com:

Thank you for the opportunity to review and respond to the complaint you received on 16 Dec 2017 (ID #***). At ReachNow, we value our members’ experiences while using our service, and we take any feedback we receive seriously.

The individual contacted ReachNow on 15 Dec 2017 about the $89.18 charge from her November trip. She received a response from Member Support and a refund in the amount of $78.76 that very same day. In addition, she received a follow up email from our headquarters team on 27 Dec 2017, along with an additional refund for $10.42 and a $75.00 promo code for the hassle and inconvenience caused.

We’ve reviewed this incident completely and believe that our support team followed the appropriate steps to rectify the situation. We regret that this happened and we will continue to do all that we can to ensure our members have the best possible experience every time they use our service. At this point, we believe this situation has been fully rectified; nevertheless, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly if there’s anything else we can do.

After coming down a mountain I was unable to open the car using my member keycard (previously worked). I could not access water I had stored inside the car while it was 95F outside. I had to walk 1mi to get cell reception and call member support. They told me to use 'other transportation' and they will recover the vehicle at a later time. It took dozens of phone calls, four office visits and over 48h to recover my personal items from the car (including apartment keys and prescription glasses). I got a 30min driving credit for my troubles...
As someone else pointed out in the reviews, USING REACHNOW FOR OUT OF CITY TRIPS IS DANGEROUS. You can become stranded, without any help, without access to items inside the car. I think ReachNow should communicate this to it's users.
Two weeks after my bad experience a $1200 charge appeared on my credit card (15 days of rental). I had to go in to their office to set this straight again.
