this message / complaint was incorrectly directedWe were the prior owners/management company of Hinton Heights Apartments in Cottage Grove, MNwe sold the property in February 2017the contact for Hinton Heights Apartments is ###-###-#### or [email protected] youSandra [redacted] Senior Property ManagerBelgarde Property Services, Inc

To whom it may concern - my name is Laura [redacted] and I am the Portfolio manager for Reacor, Ltd. I was the point of contact for [redacted] so I would like to respond but had to do so within Maggie's email since she forwarded it to me. Anyway, [redacted] first called me and gave me a false name and lied to me by saying that her disabled nephew wanted to rent an apartment at Hinton Heights and had a large locked toolbox that he wanted to store in the garage. She wanted to know if that would be allowed. I wanted to be able to reasonably accomodate his disability so I told her I would call the site right away and see what the procedure would be. In calling the manager at the site, and giving her the first name and number, she identified this person as a current resident. I wasn't sure why she felt the need to lie but did call her back and let her know that the toolbox could be allowed under certain circumstances and depending upon which apt. they wanted to rent. Later on, she contacted me again with her real name and asked about the storage of her items. I explained that these garages are not private - they are shared spaces with three other apartments, so we are limited in the amount of items that can be allowed in the spaces due to fire hazards, etc. I have before and after pictures of what the garage looked like prior to her cleanup. There were many many items of what appeared as junk, as well as many large children's toys. In the end, I let [redacted] know that we would allow the motorcycle, bikes and toolbox but the other items did need to be removed. She said she wanted to have our garage addendum to view and sign first and then she would agree to comply. We did send over the addendum and as far as I know, this matter has been resolved. thank you for following up with us. In the future, please direct any complaints for Reacor, Ltd, to [email protected] so much!

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2016/02/24) */
I was just made aware of this official complaint yesterday and wanted to respondI received your letter of complaint at our office and have been working with the staff over the past few weeks to resolve the noise issuesI believe they came to
your aptand also visited the upstairs neighbors last week at my directionWe will work very hard to resolve this issueI believe the manager was in your apt this week to try to identify which rooms are getting the noiseThis Revdex.com complaint was not necessary- we have been trying to help you without even knowing you filed thisIf we are not able to resolve this to your satisfaction, we will allow you to give an agreeable notice and moveI would be happy to speak to you directly if you feel that the staff is not doing everything they can to help youI have listed my email below in case you need itThank you
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2016/02/25) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
My email of your response starts out stating that "On February 24th the business provided the following information"Now I'm not sure who at your business wrote this response, but I take issue with your comment "This Revdex.com complaint was not necessary- we have been trying to help you without even knowing you filed this"I will not accept the insinuation from whoever wrote this that I am lyingThis comment just further irritates meNote that your response needs to be rewritten in order for me to accept itMaybe whoever wrote this is to far removed from the situation so allow me enlighten youThis noise issue started back when the past manager was in place, that was some months agoI had also placed two phone calls to the owners main office over a month ago, they were never returnedThat said I filed this Revdex.com complaint on 2/16/after months of trying to get management to help meI fully believe that I had every right to file this complaintAnd what really led me to believe that nothing was going to be done about this noise issue and that management was done dealing with this issue is that on 2/8/I had been told in a phone message by the current manager the followingThis was in response to an email that I sent to management complaining about the noise againI had asked in this email that all future responses from the business be made in writing, and that I was done talking, talk is cheapThe phone message I received in response to this email stated that the occupants upstairs said they were doing nothing out of the ordinaryThis is when I figured you all were done working on the issue and that I would just have to deal with itPlease note that I did ask for management to come and hang out with me at least two times that I can documentMaybe if you had a listen for yourselves you might be more willing to help and believe meThat was set up and finally happened on 2/24/Two people from the business came to our apartment one went upstairs and one stayed downstairs with me while the one upstairs was walking around and runningManagement did agreed that there is a problemI would also like to mention that while I was sitting in my comfy chair tonight typing this response to you I was once again bombarded with the thumping and running noise from above meI will make sure to email management once again with my complaint
Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 17, 2016/03/14) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I agree with the resolutionHowever, I hold fast to what I know to be honest and fair
Final Business Response /* (1000, 15, 2016/03/14) */
This issue has been resolved with the tenantShe has given notice to vacate and we have agreed to let her out of her lease, which is what she requestedThe fact that she didn't like my wording is unfortunate but I feel I was honest and fairShe requested to be let out of her lease in order to resolve the situation and we agreed
