Water Resources. We determined that there was a water leak in the yard. The written policy of the insurance company is to patch the leak, not replace the entire line. This was done by Reading & Son Plumbing. The next time we had heard from Mr. [redacted] was September 1, 2017. He was very rude and suggested we get the new leak fixed, now!. He threatened to sue us for his high water bill, and his time with no water. (Water company turned water off to the home). Reading Plumbing does not respond to threats. American Water Resources insurance called us to see if we would consider taking this claim on a holiday weekend. We assured them that this guy is absolutely threatening us and it would be better if the insurance company would assign this this job to another authorized contractor. Mr. [redacted] has to deal with the insurance company only. He is not to deal, threaten or accuse Reading Plumbing of anything. He is to file a water line leak claim with only the insurance company. They in turn assign problems to a contractor only with their acceptance. I rejected this new claim.

Complaint #1 - Per Proposal # 8818 dated 2/23/15, Reading & Son Plumbing, Inc provided Ms. [redacted] with a proposal to inspect water lines in attic and water lines in the kitchen cabinet for $180.00, see attached. This inspection was completed on...
3/4/15, see attached invoice. The inspection report was written in Proposal # 8843 dated 3/12/15 for re-piping the water lines. Ms. [redacted] stated that we had never given her the report. Ms. [redacted] signed proposal # 8843 on July 29, 2015. We have not signed the proposal in return to bind us to this proposal.
The $180.00 invoice was paid on May 13, 2015, 69 days after work was completed, see attached.
Complaint #2 - We were dispatched through American Water Resource Insurance Company to rod her floor drain. There is a $50 service fee with each claim. If she has further problems with the floor drain, she would have to contact American Water Resource to set up a re-dispatch. We do not have any record of her calling about ongoing problems with the floor drain.

I am in school out of state responding on my IPhone so forgive blunders, but this is important to me.
I cannot accept the explanation of form 8843. As you can see it states Reading will look at the plumbing which is followed by a repair estimate. As I stated, and this confirms, the condition, routing, etc of the existing plumbing I paid to get a spec report on is nowhere in their documentation. And it cannot be provided, according to Mike at Reading, as the employee who spec'd it quit & left no information.
In regards to my delayed payment given the choice I still would not have paid. However, my credit rating is in the upper
700's so when Reading became insistent that I pay though no report was provided I paid making it right on my end. I am still waiting on Reading to do the same.
The mere fact that we are having this impass 8 months after Reading agreed to do the work is telling if what I have had to deal with as well as why they don't have a Revdex.com rating.
Lastly, regarding complaint #2, the drain continued flooding the same day Reading was there!!!!
I am happy to say that I called another local plumber who arrived the next day RE SPEC'D the plumbing to come up with a proposal for solution and in 5 days my plumbing is completely re-run including the pipe under the kitchen sink & the floor drain is fixed correctly. Amen!! I had to re-pay for everything I already paid Reading for costing me over $3500.00 but I'm completely satisfied & thrilled with their service, knowledge & workmanship. It's not professional but I have to throw the stone that I don't know any other company other than Reading who would take your payment and not complete the work even going as far as to tell you 8 months later that they can't do the work because the only employee who remembers the plumbing for the quote quit and they dont want to do the work now nor provide the plumbing layout for me to hire someone else. [redacted], don't be like this. Just make it right & refund my much needed & more than well deserved $230.00 please. Thank you Revdex.com for you advocacy. The States Attorney for Consumer Fraud is also involved.
