Phone calls and emails do not get returned regarding warranty issuesThe truck body is falling apart and it is only months oldWorst 18k I ever spentBuyer beware! They also have not responded to my Revdex.com complaint

Contacted reading 10 months ago for a warty claim of side box’s leaking water badly. Keep getting a run around from them and never return a call! Absolutely absurd! Since the original claim(10 months ago!) One of the shelf’s has completely sheered of from the body along with the back bumper completely falling off. This all happened after they sent me a safety recall notice in the mail. When I responded to it with all the info and pictures they requested, they then told me no further action was required. Shorty after that is when parts started to break off the body.

From what I can gather about the recall is that it is structurally related because there weren’t enough supports in the body. Now my body is all twisted and stressed with parts falling off and they think they are just going to add a few parts to make it better.

How about a new body! Reading you need to make this right! Your costumer service is the worst I’ve dealt with in my 26 years in business!

Dear Sirs,
125);">Our Operations Manager spoke
with the customer on Friday 12/12/and informed him that the production
control supervisor was on vacation that day and he would consult with her on
Monday 12/to determine when we could schedule the customer’s job to be completed
The Production Control
Supervisor spoke with the customer on Monday 12/15/and was able to schedule
the job for the week of 1/19/15. That date was acceptable to the
customer. The Production Control Supervisor spoke with the customer again
on Tuesday 12/15/to confirm that the truck would be dropped off on 1/16/
and would be completed for pino later than Friday 1/23/15. The
customer appeared to be satisfied that the work was scheduled to be completed
We belive that this situation has been resolved.
Thank you,
Jenifer

Purchased a SL Spacemaker a little over a year ago and it leaks like a sieve. I have had it back to the distributor 6 times, once for 2 days to fix the leaks. They removed all the doors, ladder rack and tail lights and replaced the rubberized bushings. The tail lights still leak. Where it leaked at the hinges there fix was silicone caulk. The tail light holes are too large for the lights they supply. I have had two of the old version of Space maker body and never had a leak problem. This one is a lemon. It has same exterior dimensions as the old version but less interior space. I have sent emails for warranty help and have yet to receive a reply. I ordered this bed sight unseen thinking it was the same as my prior bed. If the dealer had one on their lot for me to see I would have never purchased it

Review: I purchased a new Reading Truck body which was installed on a new [redacted] truck by the Reading facility personnel on Jan 31, 2013. I contacted the Reading group in spring of 2013 because the boxes were filling with water. They requested that we obtain estimates to have this repaired. I did that and sent them the estimates. They refused those estimates. I have recently contacted them again due to significant rusting of the body. This box is supposed to have a 6 year warranty against rust. Their response was to suggest replacement of some of the outer doors. This will not fix the issues as the interior of the boxes have also rusted. I have asked them to replace the box with an aluminum box (I will pay the difference in price) but they have refused at this time. My last contact with the representative was over 2 weeks ago. He said he would get back to me, but I have heard nothing. There are still several years left on the warranty, but I am getting no where.Desired Settlement: Since this box continues to exhibit new rust, I would like a replacement. I have offered to pay the difference from the steel to the aluminum since I don't trust the steel boxes to hold up, nor do I trust the company to stand behind their product.
