Company states that they have contacted the customer and the consumer advised they wanted the company to wait til there is better weather.

We did complete the additional work requested by homeowner.

Ready Roofing tried to make contact with homeowner to remedy the complaint. We will try to get a hold of the homeowner again. To reimburse them for third party gutter cleaning and resolve ridge cap shortage

I contacted Ready Roofing online and received zero response. I called and when I finally got a call back I was told that they would have someone look at our house and get us an estimate. Well almost 3 weeks later, no response, even after I called and emailed again.

Review: I am writing this complaint due to the incomplete work and lack of communication from Ready Roofing LLC. On May 16, 2015 I signed a contract for Ready Roofing LLC to completely tear off the existing roof shingles, re-deck roof, tar paper, and shingle. The contract also listed a chimney removal which included a vent with a liner for venting a water heater, installation of various gutters and downspouts, and installation of a rubber membrane to replace a flat tin roof on the upper front portion of my house.

The roof project was started on June 23, 2015. The old shingles were removed, new OSB and tar paper were laid down, chimney removed with new vent and liner installed for the water heater, drip edge and gutter apron installed, and new singles installed. On July 08, 2015 gutters and downspouts were installed.

The last communication I had from Ready Roofing LLC was on July 09, 2015 which is almost three month ago. I still need the job completed. The front rubber membrane needs to be installed. The east side roof partition needs to be cosmetically fixed. Ready Roofing LLC used two different colored caulks to seal the stucco/shingle joint and a chunk of stucco was broken around the partition. Around the end of June, Ready Roofing LLC agreed to fix the east side partition. When the gutters were installed, the crew laid downspout elbows directly on the rear rubber roof. Ready Roofing LLC agreed to come back and lay rubber tape under the elbows. There are also some exposed nail heads used to fasten some flashing for covering the step flashing on the back of the house. The roofing project has not been completed or addressed as of October 3, 2015.

I would also like to note that before any work was started, Ready Roofing LLC agreed that they would lay plywood and tarps on top of the rear flat roof (which was replaced a few years ago by a different contractor) in order to protect the rubber membrane from the shingle tear off. The plywood was never used and only tarps were laid down. Ready Roofing LLC agreed to inspect the rubber membrane and address any damage. I do not believe they have inspected the membrane for damage.

On August 03, 2015 I emailed Ready Roofing LLC a list of concerns. Here is a copy of my email:

"It has been about a month since we last talked. We would like an update on when our roof will be completed. The following needs to be addressed yet:

1. Front rubber roof above the porch. Just a note that the fiber board you have stored here is too warped to be useable. We purchased a couple of cans of bronze spray paint for the galvanized sheet you where going to use for the front rubber membrane.

2. Small east roof section needs to be cleaned up. Where the stucco meets the top layer of shingles is caulked with two different types of caulk. You stated that you were going to clean it up to look a bit more presentable.

3.There are exposed nail heads on south facing west side flashing above the rear rubber roof.

4. You also agreed to lay some rubber tape under the downspout elbows (east and west sides).They are resting on the rear rubber membrane.

Please give me a call or reply to the email as soon as possible."

On August 18, 2015 I texted Ready Roofing LLC to remind them I sent them an email. On September 09, 2015 I left a message at their office phone number. On September 16, 2015 I left a message on their cell phone and indicated, that if I did not hear from them, I would file a complaint with the Revdex.com. I have given Ready Roofing LLC many chances to communicate, and I am quite displeased on how they conduct business. Luckily for me, I only purchased most of the material for the roofing project and have not yet been billed for the cleanup, labor, gutters and completion of items listed in this complaint. With winter approaching, I worry that the incomplete job might lead to ice and water damage.

I would also like to note that Ready Roofing LLC could have had two other customers. I have a family member interested in gutters and a good friend in need of some roofing work. Needless to say they will not be contacting Ready Roofing LLC for any services due to the lack of their communication and incomplete services.Desired Settlement: Ultimately the job needs to be completed by Ready Roofing LLC, or I need to be legally released from my contractual agreement with Ready Roofing LLC in order to hire a different contractor to finish the job before winter.

Review: I contracted [redacted] of Ready Roofing to install new shingles, gutters and fascia on on two rental properties I own. The work came to $17,000.00. I paid for the work in full immediately after the job was completed. Approximately 3 weeks after the work was done I noticed a gap between the gutters and the roof causing the water to run behind the gutters and down my new fascia boards. I contacted [redacted], a week later he came out to look at the problem and told me that the aluminum drip edge that his crew installed wasn't large enough to reach down into the gutter and that he could install some type of filler aluminum so the water would be channeled into the gutter but there would be an additional cost. I had no choice because water damage was occurring to this building so I agreed to the up charge. [redacted] told me he would be out the following week. He never showed up. I have at least a dozen phone calls to his office and cell phone now with no response. Meanwhile the water continues to drain down my new fascia completely missing the gutters. Hopefully this complaint will motivate [redacted] to correct his mistake. Otherwise I will have to contact a different contractor to correct [redacted]'s work.Thank you,[redacted]###-###-####Desired Settlement: I would like [redacted] to install the proper drip edge so that the water is diverted into the gutters. I would like to meet him at the site to see how he's going to correct his mistake and I need to meet him when he completes the work so that I can see that it has been done properly.

[redacted] fails to return my phone calls. I first contacted [redacted] in may about a chimney repair and roofing project. he said he would be here in the first week of june. it is now the first of july and I haven't heard from since may. I have left numerous phone messages and he ignores them.
