Real Auto Solution

Review: In May 2013, I went to Real auto Solution in order to have a new quarter panel, all the rust removed, and painted. I dropped the car off May [redacted] 2013 and could not pick it up until august [redacted] 2013 because they were having difficulty completing the job. I was astounded at the poor workmanship considering the time they had to complete it. I had given them 800 dollars up front to start the work and gave them the remaining 1200 dollars in july when they said the car was completed and ready to be picked up. I had to go back to them Three times because there was constantly something that had not been fixed properly according to the written receipt along with a verbal agreement. As of now the car is three different colors of black because they did not match it properly, there is paint of another car on the door and rims, and there is paint stuck underneath and around the taillights. The workmanship at best was poor and I have told them I was unsatisfied however they did not offer to repair their lack of craftsmanship. I do not know what to do about this situation and would appreciate an investigation into the situation.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the entire money I gave them to complete the work they promised which is 2000 dollars. I cannot trust their lack of professionalism and [redacted] work.

The vehicle in question is a [redacted], the job was to change the passenger side rear quarter panel and repaint the drivers side rear quarter panel.

the total job was about half of the price of any body shop in the area will charge, because of this reason we shop around for parts to get the best deal possible.

the quarter panel alone was about 1200 and difficult to find brand new, the closest one was in Rhode Island and since it was no shipping available for this item we had to go and pick it up( nobody will ship this quarter panel because is so fragile and over size).

Now the part was hard to find, we spoke to the customer that it will take longer because we were booked solid and the customer said just to take our time and no rush. Removing the quarter panel we found more corrosion that wasn't in the deal but just we couldn't just leave it like that and we did extra work fixing that.( I have pictures of the whole job for our records)

we are a repair shop and he paid for a repair so the quality of the paint is excellent , we deal with many insurance company's and never had a problem.

now a show car finish that requires more labor sanding and more paint to a show car level, that's another level that was not agreed, and that cam cost up to 10,000 dollars.

Now the quarter panels look awesome we have a professional detail guy that buffed the quarters and they are shinny. we also got pictures for that.

now we only buff the rear quarter panel because that's what we got paid for.

we hosed and clean the car but like I said only detail the parts we fixed not the whole car, we explained that to the customer.
