Ms [redacted] had four accounts assigned to this office for collection on July 5, Ms [redacted] provided us with proof of her payment to our client back in JulyFor some reason this payment was not relayed to our officeOn November 27, 2017, Ms [redacted] provided proof of her paymentWe immediately posted the payment to her accounts, closed her files and sent deletions to the credit bureausOn March 19, 2018, she phoned our office and was demanding we remove these items from her credit reportsMy manager tried to explain that we have already submitted deletionsMs [redacted] was very rude and refused to listen to our explanationThe problem may be that she does not have an accurate credit report from one of the three credit bureaus, but rather a report from one of the companies that purchases old credit information and combines the information into a single, and inaccurate, credit reportThis is very commonWithout Ms [redacted] providing a copy of this inaccurate report, and not being so rude, it is impossible for us to help herCopies of the four deletions dated November 28, are attachedWe will send another deletion to the three credit bureaus again today, but as explained, this may not resolve the issue if she does not have a bona fide credit report

Revdex.com:Although I still do not believe that I ever owed this debt, in order to relieve the impact to my credit report, I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 12175114, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Sincerely, [redacted] ?

Mr [redacted] incurred this medical expense on May 20, His insurance was billed and they paid a portion of the billHe would have received an EOB (Explanation of Benefits) from his insurance carrier advising him of his remaining balance dueThe medical provider in this case sent three statements requesting payment before his account was assigned for collection in September of This office sent it's validation notice to Mr***'s? address as shown on his complaint on September 26, There was no mail returnedWe left a message on his phone to call us on October 30, Mr [redacted] has failed to respond to any of the aboveIf Mr [redacted] will contact this office and remit payment in full, his credit report will reflect the same and show the debt satisfiedThe item cannot be deleted

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:The fact is Alpine never contacted me at anytime if so when and what dates because if you did contacted me I would have paid the Damn Bill.....So if you want paid call me if you claim you have my number
Sincerely,
Joseph ***

He can reject the response all he wants but the facts remain the sameHe also has not provided this office, or our client, notice of any bankruptcyWe will research the claim that he filed bankruptcyEven if this is true, that does not delete this delinquent account from his credit report

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that I appreciate them sending the deletion “again”, however they never asked for a copy of any inaccurate reporting, as I have two reports from *** and ***, two of the official credit bureau’s, not some unofficial companyI even explained on a different date that my bank showed me my “bona fide credit report” as they put itSo no, they didn’t request any info, didn’t offer any solutions except that I would have to go to the credit bureaus myself to dispute the fraudulent claims and did not even let me know they would resend the deletions againI did not refuse to listen to any explanation, I called saying I wanted to speak to someone about removing those fraudulent claims, and though my tone was curt I wasn’t unreasonable; all she said is that it was sent on the 28thHowever, I am not surprised, I could tell by their rude tone that Desiree, the supervisor was not pleased that I asked for her name, so I could make note of who I was in contact within this shady companyThe insinuations within their reply is clear, they have TERRIBLE customer serviceThe multiple comments I read online about their terrible customer service and fraudulent claims on credit histories only goes to confirm that this business is not performing wellThey should definitely not have an A+ rating from the Revdex.com. Sincerely, *** ***

This account was assigned for collection on 1/18/The complainant made numerous paymentsThe final payment was made 7/25/At NO time did we promise to REMOVE this item from their credit reportIf fact, it's our obligation to report accurate information to the credit bureausIf the account
does not show PAID, that's a different story and they need to contact us so we may help themIf the account shows PAID, then their credit report is accurate.

I Have no idea why she is complaining?? She has had delinquent accounts assigned to this agency for collection beginning in 2011!! She has made numerous promises to pay but never has fulfilled her promises She FINALLY contacted our office again on 9/14/because these accounts
were apparently preventing her from obtaining creditShe still refused to establish a payment plan or pay her debts in full. She requested verification of her debts and in fact my staff e-mailed that information to her at her request back on 8/2/17! My staff also went over her accounts with herWe certainly do have documentation of her accounts on file and did provide to her back in August..Her accounts will not be removed from the credit bureaus and will not show paid until she pays her obligations

This gentleman called our office back on May 27, 2017, admitted this was his account, and paid it in fullWe also submitted a deletion to the credit bureaus on May 30th

Tell us why here...Mrs*** is having a difficult time remembering this situationYes, the patient on the delinquent account was their minor childAnd yes, our client did assign the account for collection in their daughter’s nameWhen this error was brought to our attention we immediately
corrected our client’s errorWe have discussed this account numerous times with both parents, and provided them with verification of the debt and they have refused to satisfy their legal obligationIn fact, Mrs*** stated she would only pay the bill if we would delete the account from her creditWe advised her that we would not violate the law by doing so! Our client has also informed us that their primary insurance carrier and their secondary insurance carrier were both billed and billed correctlyThe insurances paid their portion and the remaining balance is the ***’s responsibilityThe original amount of the bill was $1,Their insurances paid $and there was a contractual write off of $The remaining balance of $is the ***’s responsibilityTheir failure to resolve this matter timely, as she admits has caused them in incur $in statutory interest for a current balance due of $We will not discount or reduce this balance and we will not violate the law by deleting the account from any credit bureaus

This is a duplicate complaintThe consumer filed the same or similar complaint under our dba Alpine Credit, and that complaint was answered yesterdayIn short, we dispute these allegations in their entiretyThis consumer was given every opportunity to pay for these debts over the past four plus
yearsShe was provided multiple billing statements as well as numerous voice mail messages to contact usWe had telephone conversations with both her and her husband in March At that time she was provided detailed information about each of the accounts and chose to respond by claiming we were fabricating all of thisThis conversation left us no reasonable option to collect the assigned accounts other than by the filing of a law suit for paymentThe Summons, Complaint and Answer forms were served upon the consumers on June 17, with a scheduled appearance date of July 9, The assigned accounts were from two different creditors, both of which had sent multiple statements to the consumer prior to assigning them for collection, and each account had already been accepted and processed by the consumers insurance company and the remaining balances were left as being due from the patient as her deductible or co-insuranceThis information would also have been provided to the consumer by her insurance company in the form of an Explanation of BenefitsIf the consumer attempted to call us prior to her payment of June 25, 2018, and after March of 2017, I can only surmise that she failed or otherwise refused to provide the receptionist with enough identifying information to locate her accountWe are in the business of collecting moneyThere is no reason in the world we would not want to speak with someone and accept their paymentAs to any additional amounts - the only amounts beyond the principal balances the consumer paid were statutory interest and the actual cost of the process server to serve the SummonsThis money goes to the process server, not usThis consumers complaint is very consistent with the conversation I had with her in March 2017, which led tot the cessation of further attempts to contact her outside of litigation?

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:This response is interestingAlpine Credit is eluding that they have been trying to contact me for five years (since 2013), that is not accurate at allWhen I saw the three accounts on my credit report in April 2018, I called Alpine Credit to get informationAlpine Credit would not help meSo I called my doctor (all three accounts are for the same doctor)I actually do my research and ensure the debts are legitimate before handing over moneyI think that is common senseMy doctor's office told me that I had a zero balance; however, the years I provided (2013, 2015, 2016) indicated to the office that maybe these bills were accrued under the old billing company, prior to the orthopedic surgeons group being acquired by a different health systemMy doctor's office put me in touch with the old billing companyThe old billing company helped me and researched these three billsSure enough, I had missed three payments throughout my years of surgeries and treatmentsNo problemI owe the debtI have never denied these debts, not onceI called Alpine Credit in May (after I completed my research, no thanks to Alpine Credit) and attempted to pay these three accounts; but again, I was told that they couldn't help me without an account numberCheryl, again, refused to help meJune my ex-husband is servedI called their office again on 6/25/and I had the account numbers this time because of the court paperworkBy Karen's own admission: Alpine Credit can look up accounts by name, address, and phone number; by Karen's own admission Alpine Credit does not need an account number to pull up an accountSo back in April when I wanted information about the bills so that I could pay the accounts, Alpine Credit could have helped me and then taken my money but they didn'tI don't see any reason for this except to drive up the interest and fees so they make more money off my debtThis is unacceptableAlso, their response says they mailed me statementsI have never received a single statement, letter, email, phone callWhat I find laughable (and it confirms the depths they'll go to lie) is that they claim to have spoken to my husbandI am not marriedI have not been married for many yearsMy ex-husband stated he never received calls from them or believe me he would have told me immediately (just like he did when he was served)I hope that clears up the business' responsePlease Note: I find their responses to all their complaints to be seriously lacking professionalism and factsAgain, their customer service is non-existentWhen a customer calls in and they are met with hostility and downright rudeness, I am going to defend myselfI do not tolerate lying and disrespectEspecially when all I have wanted to do was understand the accounts and pay themAlpine Credit needs to start listening to their customers and be respectful to othersDebt collectors get a bad reputation because of Alpine Credit and their employeesI just want to say that the other debt collectors I have worked with regarding my medical debt have been so helpful, understanding, great listeners, and collaborativeI hope that people that read my comments will understand that not all collection agencies are bad, just seems to be Alpine CreditAnd they clearly have no interest in changing their practicesI am happy that Alpine Credit finally took my payment for these three accounts and we can finally part waysIt has been a very ridiculous few monthsSo happy it is over.? I would appreciate a response to my request for the $in unnecessary charges because: By Karen's own admission: Alpine Credit can look up accounts by name, address, and phone number; by Karen's own admission Alpine Credit does not need an account number to pull up an accountSo back in April when I wanted information about the bills so that I could pay the accounts, Alpine Credit could have helped me and then taken my money but they didn'tI don't see any reason for this except to drive up the interest and fees so they make more money off my debtThis is unacceptable.?
Sincerely,
[redacted]
