Mr [redacted] first brought in his [redacted] on 1/29/and was diagnosed as needing an ECM to correct the problemWe did the repair, test drove the car and gave back to the customerOn 3/21/he brought in again and we determined that the [redacted] needed an ignition moduleAgain we test drove and gave back to the customerMr [redacted] called last night (3/28/16) and left a message for someone in the service department to call him, we called and left a message this morning but haven't heard back yetWe certainly understand that Mr [redacted] is frustratedWe would like to resolve the situation as wellIf Mr [redacted] would like to bring the [redacted] back to the dealership, we would be more than happy to continue to track this problem down As for the compensation, first we need to look at the car and see if one of the repairs was faulty or what exactly is going onAll of the repairs that were made, were neededWe would never make repairs to a vehicle that weren't neededThanks, Joe H***

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: My complaint is NOT about the front end of the Silverado My complaint is regarding the work done on the driver's side front and back doors, the driver's side bed and rear tail gate The paint on these areas doesn't match the original factory paint and the clear coat is peeling The driver's side outside review mirror housing is also broke This involves Laramie GM Auto Center's undisclosed repairs I don't feel that I should pay for the expense and time for travel Send someone here to look at the truck, or we can take it to a body shop of your choice near us Regards, [redacted] ***

Mr*** did purchase the Hummer Hfrom Laramie GM on Sept 29th for a discounted price of $85,In response to how the vehicle was listed on the website, there is no place to list engine conversions, but Mr*** certainly knew that the engine had been replaced because as a self described
Hummer expert, he knew that the *** diesel was not an option in the Hummer and also was told over email that there was a conversion done (see attachment)In fact, he spoke to the mechanic that performed the work for about a half an hour when he picked up the HummerIn speaking to *** (Mr*** mechanic) at *** garage in Texas several times, he told me that he feels the engine and transmission problems where as a result of Mr*** driving the vehicle straight through to Texas (900+ ***)The Hummer His designed to be an off road vehicle which Mr*** was fully away of and his mechanic said that more than likely was driven back at a rate of speed and in a manner that over heated the engine and resulted in needing the head gaskets replacedWhile the vehicle was on the lot at the dealership, there were never any leaks and the engine ran perfectly

It looks like the factory clear coat has started to lift from the paint which would be covered under the factory corrosion warranty
We would need to have the truck here in order to get it covered and fixed, which we would be more than happy to do
The mirror would need to be paid for by the you as that damage occurred after the sale
Let us know when you would like to schedule an appointment with the body shop to get that fixed

The truck was never wrecked and no repairs were ever made to the front of the truck
We did fix a scratch on the side of the bed to get the truck looking good , but again it was never involved in any sort of accidentWe would be happy to provide any sort of
documentation showing this, (carfax, autocheck, ins papers, etc.)
If Mr*** would like to bring the truck back down to Laramie GM we would be more than happy to look at the "peeling clear coat" and come up with some sort of resolution to try and make him happy

We didn't mis-represent anythingEvery piece of information was given to Mr. *** before and up to the date of purchase. The vehicle was sold in good working condition and then throughout the long trip back to Texas, something went wrongWe do feel bad that this happened but unfortunately sometimes things happenAt this point, I agree it does feel like it is a he said, she said situationWe continue to stand by our position.Thanks

I am rejecting this response because: The response is not correct.  It true that I been driving Hummers since 2000. The mechanic also told me that the engine only had 1000 [redacted] on it I later learned from my mechanic that the engine was not new.  Also [redacted] did not state that.  He is preparing a list of the things that are wrong with the vehicle. Questionable odometer maintenance records do not add up, no mention of oil changes. This dealership has other complaints with Revdex.com.

I only agree with sending 10 photos of the repaired 2011 Silverado truck to [redacted]@lgmac.com  as requested.  Photos are repair work on the driver's side doors, bed and tailgate and rear view mirror. (approximately half the truck)

As for the compensation, first we need to look at the car and see if one of the repairs was faulty or what exactly is going on. All of the repairs that were made, were needed. We would never make repairs to a vehicle that weren't needed.
