Hired [redacted] , owner of Real Estate Services to complete work on a home my husband and I purchased in Lafayette, IndianaWe pre-paid him for all work to be performedHe said that he had a team of employees who would be on the job and get it done in less than days as we were getting a certificate of occupancy cleared by the countyMr [redacted] had one helper who showed up only two to three days a weekMr [redacted] personally would not return phone calls nor provide us with the written estimates he agreed to upon being paidHe never completed the items he was prepaid for which came to over 25,and he walked off the job after submitting an invoice for 7,more than we had agreed to and said that he would stop us from ever getting the Certificate of Occupancy if we didn't pay himHe also texted my husband and said that he would accept a new Polaris four wheeler valued at 7,in lieu of paymentHe said the work agreed to would not be completed unless he was paid this amountThis was after two months of part time work with many items he had been paid for not completedMy husband had to get sub contractors himself to complete the job and pay them for the work [redacted] had already been paid for in order to get the house cleared by the countyMr [redacted] repeatedly made threatening phone calls and texts to us and lied about his abilities, his employees, and his company in order to get us to prepay him for work that he had no intention of completingHis extortion efforts in regards to the four wheeler is full indication of how he does businessHe was never on the job other than a few hours a week and would disappear for days and couldn't be reachedHe has an ad on Craig's list that states he is a respected builder and that he will provide written estimates and invoices for all of his workNone of this ever occurred and my husband and I have been out thousands of dollars and more stress on our move here than can be imagined He should be put out of business

Mr. [redacted] had one helper who showed up only two to three days a week. Mr. [redacted] personally would not return phone calls nor provide us with the written estimates he agreed to upon being paid.
