As stated in our phone conversation, I apologize for the way we handled your complaint in reference to the patio we poured for you in 2014. We are currently working on a better way to handle incoming complaints and figure out resolutions that are fair for both the client and the
contractor. That being said, all we can do moving forward is work towards a resolution. As soon as the weather cooperates, I would like to come back out to your property and discuss a solution in person in which we are all satisfied. The homeowner is correct She has been put on the schedule, however she was never given a specific date If you reference her contractwhich is attached It does state that we are not responsible for pitting, spalling, or pop outs Unfortunately these are things that we cannot control due to weather, wear and concrete mix That being said, Real Help Concrete does stand behind our work, and even when it is not our fault for the concrete failing, we still try to ensure proper quality Which is why, we will resurface this area for the homeowner, but ask for their patience and understanding in this matter We have been in contact Thank you!

The claims by real help are false. I have pages of text messages in regards to issues that were sent to Josh the owner. I understand that concrete cracks but the end of my driveway was done wrong. Josh even admitted it was done wrong. He did have it redone  but it is still wrong. ALL I want is for the end of my driveway to be fixed and to look like the job I paid him to do. I can share the text messages between myself and Josh over the course of a year. Sending me his attorney information just shows me that once he got paid I became an ex customer.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Real Help Concrete response to Mr. [redacted]Before I address the complaint below, I would like to state that Real Help Concrete stands behind its work and services provided.  Upwards of 100 plus positive reviews online can attest to our quality and standards being one of the highest in the industry, both locally and nationally.  As always, it is concerning when a customer has a negative experience with our company.  But there comes a point, where the consumer is unrealistic with their expectations and portrays a hostile demeanor, which leads us to our issue with Mr. [redacted].  The concrete installation for the job in this complaint was installed according to specifications and industry standards in the 2015 season.  Now, approximately 12 months later and after a Buffalo winter, Mr. [redacted] has voiced a complaint surrounding his concrete.  In response to his complaint, I both communicated with Mr. [redacted] and recently reviewed the work that was installed approximately one year ago.  I explained the characteristics of concrete to Mr. [redacted], as well as, how this particular concrete developed exactly as concrete should under circumstances.  My company prides itself both on great craftsmanship and customer service, and while we provided both under these circumstances, this particular customer remains unhappy due to (1) unrealistic expectations and (2) his failed attempt to extort free labor and materials in exchange for not filing was and is in fact, a false complaint and an abuse of the Revdex.com ratings system.  Our explanation is below.     As stated by Mr. [redacted] in the Revdex.com complaint, he states that I never stopped over to his property to discuss his concerns.  This is in fact not true, as I was at his property Wednesday, July 13th, 2016 at 1955 hours.  I have attached the text message proof of this occurrence.  I then text the homeowner, which he made it very clear that this was the best way for him to communicate, not the other way around, and stated that I was there and did look over the job.  I then asked for some time to get back to him to reference his concerns with the project via email instead of text message.  Please be aware that Real Help Concrete employs a two-person office staff to handle all incoming inquiries, concerns, and estimates during the concrete season from 730AM - 6PM, Monday through Friday.  If texting was an issue to Mr. [redacted], (which mode of communication was at his request) he had every ability to contact our office to speak with our staff.   Throughout this Revdex.com complaint Mr. [redacted] makes false claims and unfounded accusations, as he did via text message as well.  The homeowner’s job was completed in full when he made final payment with the company.  He is correct in stating that he did pay in full and with cash.  The homeowner claims that the job looks horrible and that the workmanship completed at his property was subpar and not up to industry standards.  Real Help Concrete prides itself on the quality of our work, our customer communication, and the handling of issues or concerns.  As the owner of Real Help Concrete, I will stand behind my crew, my secretary staff, and the quality of our work time after time.  That being said, I will also admit when we are wrong and there is an issue at a project we completed.  I have no reservation stating that the job completed at [redacted] was well within specs of industry standards.  I ask that anyone anticipating on using Real Help Concrete to complete their concrete project, stop by this address and take a look at what one of our “bad” jobs looks like.  I think you will be pleasantly surprised that even our so-called “bad” jobs still looks good after going through a Buffalo winter.  I have attached the picture of what Mr. [redacted] is complaining about which are several small cracks within his curb joint cut at the end of his apron.  The actual intention of the curb joint is to absorb stress and abuse from vehicle traffic and plow damage so that the cracks do not continue up the apron of the driveway.  Therefore, minor cracks may appear in the curb joint caused by third parties.  Here, the driveway was appropriately protected by the curb joint.  He also claims there are issues with the concrete surface.  Upon inspection, I have not noticed anything but ordinary driveway wear and tear.  I am attaching photos of the project so you can look for yourself.  Please note, these photos were taken July 19th, 2016 at roughly 830 hours from the public street as I did not want to enter Mr. [redacted]’s premises.   Mr. [redacted] claims that a business of our caliber should not be allowed to operate in New York State.  Well, this business just won best in decorative concrete for the Buffalo region this past year.  This can attest to the quality of work and service we put forth.  It is unfortunate that Mr. [redacted] believes that he was wronged by our company, but as I have stated previously, I will stand behind my crew, and my work especially in this instance where the job not only looks good but is structurally sound.  I have attached a copy of Mr. [redacted]’s contract with highlighted annotations for your reference as well.  Mr. [redacted]’s claims are truly meritless.   I also have retained a lawyer due to both Mr. [redacted]’s false allegations and harassing and threatening communications sent to my cell phone, and have asked that he direct further communications to my lawyer rather than to me personally.  That letter is also attached.  As I’ve said before, our upwards of 100 positive reviews online heavily outweigh our bad, and for those that are negative, we make every effort to address the customer’s concerns, investigate the complaint, correct any issue caused by our company without charge, and to provide a reasonable solution to issues arising from some other cause..

Real Help Concrete response to Mr. [redacted]Before I address the complaint below, I would like to state that Real Help Concrete does stand behind their work and services provided, when warranted.  Our upwards of 100 plus positive reviews online can attest to our...
