I submitted an application and application fee and I never heard back from them after they received my money. I never was denied or approved.The company had a unit available that we viewed using[redacted]. I chose to apply for the property after corresponding with Mr. [redacted] on 8/10/16 via email. I had called but calls weren't returned. I proceeded to apply for the unit with the online application and paid the $50 application fee online on 8/10/16 at 2:49 pm. I reached out to Mr. [redacted] via email and phone, and called the general number. Mr. [redacted] told me that he had a lot of work to do but that he'd get to my application as soon as he could. I waited and finally opted to choose another unit. I had not heard back from the company within about 2 weeks, so I called and left a message, and sent an email to the general box requesting a refund on 8/25 due to the application never being processed. There was no hit to my credit report or anything, nor did I receive a letter indicating they'd processed the application and approved or denied it. It is now Sept. 29, 2016 - more than a month later - and no one has reached out to resolve the issue by giving me a refund or by even processing the application. I did choose to move to another apartment because it wasn't clear what this company was doing, so I deserve a refund and would also like to warn others that this organization did not do right by me in the application process, and I would hesitate to recommend them to anyone because of this.Desired SettlementI am seeking a refund of my $50 application fee because they never provided the service of processing my application and I'm sure the unit I wanted is likely no longer available.
