I requested service on 6/21/for electrical issues related to non-working lights and electrical outlets in several areas of my mother’s homeJustin Witte arrived promptly and preceded to conduct an evaluation of the problemI asked him to perform a diagnostic it neededDuring his evaluation, he examined the breaker box in the garageThe television I was watching loss power at that time and I assumed he had turned off the electricity for safety reasonsAfter his evaluation, he reported multiple electrical issues that could possibly be the problem and recommended $worth of repairs He also removed a damage outlet and reconnected the loose wiresI asked him if he also examined the wiring in the attic and he said no because it was not necessary and he felt that he had already found the major cause of the issuesI told him we were also looking at getting other quotes for the work and he leftWithin an hour of him leaving, my mother called and told me that she had additional power outages in her house including her central airI called MrElectric and explain my concerns that their electrician was just at my mother’s home and now there were additional electrical power outages in her homeI also explained that a damage outlet had been removed and I did not know if that was related to the additional power loss but I wanted to have their electrician come back out to install a new outletI also told the young lady on the phone that the television I was watching in my mother’s home loss power while Justin was working in the breaker box but I did not know if that was related to the additional power outagesJustin returned to my mother’s home in about an hour however, my mother had left her home to pia relative and I did not have a key to get inI spoke to Justin briefly and told him that we wanted the damage outlet repaired and I also let him know that while he was in the breaker box, the television lost powerHe said the only thing he did in the breaker box was tighten wires but that a wire may have come loose during this processI apologized for his inconvenience and he leftTwo hours later, my husband asked another electrician to try to determine why my mother’s central air was not workingThis second electrician checked the breaker box and discovered that nine breaker switches were completely turned off! After, turning the switches back on, the central air, television and other additional power outages were resolved and only the original outages remainedI don’t want to think that we were being scammed but I don’t know why a trained electrician would leave breaker switches off for no reasonThat would be negligent and potentially criminal if persons in the home were harmed by the outside heat that we experienced that dayTo further demonstrate the lack of competence of the first electrician, the next day the second electrician did perform an inspection of the wiring in the atticHe found and corrected multiple hazardous wiring issues that were in contact with surrounding insulation with evidence of burningI do not recommend this company
