I am rejecting this response because: I am aware that the work order for the microwave & the refrigerator was canceled, it was canceled the second time you guys were going to come to "fix" it it was cancelled we had just barely moved in how could we break it so fast? I do understand that we could pay to get the items repaired or replaced ourselves, but we've had to do that already timesIts quiet unfair to have to do so when for starters this house isn't even ours, I've rented for so long and NEVER have I ever had to pay to get things fixed in the houseWe were quiet shocked after the first time you guys came to fix things that you guys charged to have them fixed and to be honest nothing was fixed thats why we complained about it again because it wasn't fixed the refrigerator when we moved in was already broken (the drawers have cracks and they don't open and close properly) and the microwave doesn't even heat things up properly it burns your food, and your employees have tried to blame it on us so that we have to pay to fix it which is very unfairFor example when the boards in the cabinets fell I wasn't surprised honestly, they were being held up with flimsy little hooks, I was very upset tho I called right away with tears in my eyes because it almost fell on my year old son if I had not moved him fast enough you guys would be fighting a lawsuit right nowTo this day NOTHING has been done to fix thatDo you really think I should have to pay for that to be fixed? I was not the one who put heavy boards on such flimsy little hooksYour employees can easily sit there and say oh they broke it when really we didn't and guess what we would have to pay for it does that seem fair to you? I do not understand how you guys can charge people to have things fixed or replaced, I mean when we first move in we were charged a deposit, right? Is that not enough or are you guys really that money hungry? I'm sure you're making a ton of money from all of your units in Bakersfield you say you haveNow, I've learned from the neighbors that this house took around a year to get rented out and I can now see whyHow about that one time when I called to complain about the stove leaking gas fumes? Did your company care? NoI called the emergency gas line and they took a look at the stove and told us they wanted to red tag it, but that they were going to try something and see if it worked which it did for a little while, but now the stove is doing the same thing especially when the oven is turned on, but we hate calling you guys because you guys always try to charge us for everythingHow about all of the plumbers bills we've had because of the garbage disposal not working? the plumber himself has said that that thing is ancient, he's had to come and unclog the shower drain and when we first moved in the sink in the restroom was clogged with hairs, the toilets leak some black thing, theres mold in the bathroomOnce again you guys will blame everything on us, we've called to complain about it, but who wants to pay for things that they have no control over? Thats like saying you have to pay just to sleep or eatDoesn't make sense does it? I am okay, with you guys coming to check on things, but I am not okay with being charged

I am *** ***, the Regional Operations Manager for RPM Bakersfield. I wanted to take a moment to respond to you and give you the latest update. Our firm has nearly units in Bakersfield and the complaint as you know is issued by one of our residentsThey have cancelled the generated work order that they have made a complaint about and in which you are asking for invoices for. Once we received the cancellation our Owner Relations Manager responsible for that portfolio spoke directly to the residentHe informed us that it was a allegation about the microwave and the refrigeratorThat his wife is quite upset that they would be charged for items they may have broken. I'll briefly explainIt is absolutely our practice in Single Family that if an item in a home is damaged due to resident neglect or responsibility, it is possible they will incur a chargeFor example, broken blinds or broken windows, etcFor every resident work order that may have a potential for a resident charge, it is disclosed up front before going. Often times, a resident may opt to replace the item on their own. This practice for potential charges if resident responsibility is found, has upset this particular resident and they filed a complaint with you. We have requested to them to reverse the claim if there isn't a real issueHowever and in the meantime this warranted my direct email to you and further action on our part in interest of the property and our responsibility to manage that asset for the owner. We did tell them that we will be entering the home anyway to ensure that the items they've mentioned aren't brokenThe owner had to be informed and we are all involved at this point. As may have been previously mentioned, we have gotten work orders before from this resident , and when informed they may be liable until we can assess (as we once again inform ALL residents), they cancel and they remain upset. We are entering the home on Monday the 6th since they canceled with us this week and arrangements had to be madeThis is on our own will to satisfy this complaint and to ensure again, that there isn't a larger problem. Please let me or *** know what else you may needI have copied her Thank you and have a wonderful day! ***

Hi Bertha, In review of the complaint we've received, we have verified that each request for service was addressed. The last item mentioned for garage repair has been scheduled on 10/13 after the owner of the home approved the costs.  Items mentioned in this complaint that have not been...

(or have been) repaired follow a long line of communication from our office to this resident indicating that items potentially damaged would be a resident charge. Items unrelated to potential resident charge have been addressed. We have had work orders canceled by the household in order to avoid potential charge to the resident. Work order repair and work order cancellation by other occupant stating the microwave works, cancel the order and the implication that the other occupant didn't have the patience to wait.  Each specific mention would require a long list of date stamps, back and forth communication and information.  Work orders resolvable have been handled. Work orders with a potential cost to the resident has been canceled at their request.  With the last work order of the garage repair now scheduled, our firm has no outstanding matters with this resident neither has our firm failed to be prompt and offer solutions or produce resolution. This Revdex.com complaint has no basis for further action.  Thank you.
