Real Property Management Desert City Reviews (8)

We moved into our new rental property in [redacted] , CA on Saturday and the house is filthy beyond anything I've seen in a rentalWe went to see Jessica B [redacted] , our property manager at Real Property Management Desert Cities, today to drop off our moinspection form which detailed the very dirty floors, baseboards, curtains, windows, kitchen appliances, doors, and more as well as the nails, holes, and other problemsIt is exceedingly clear that no one cleaned this house before we entered itWe mentioned this to Jessica and she claimed that was not trueShe stated she had the work order to prove itWhen we asked for the work order to see if it was cleaned, she disappeared for a few minutes looking for itWhen she came back empty handed she said she "knew" it was cleanedShe also went back and forth on stating that the last tenants cleaned the place to stating that Real Property Management Desert Cities had someone come out to clean the placeStill, they've never been able to supply us with proof that either they or the last tenants cleaned this houseWe provided almost pictures to show how dirty the house was upon our move-inThe floors have a layer of grime that is impossible to clean off without a commercial machineThe inside of the windows have paint on them that easily comes off with Windex which means no cleaning was ever attempted on themThe amount of dust in the house is causing us respiratory problemsJessica explained that we would not be responsible to clean the house beyond its condition described in the inspection formsIt gets worseWe found THREE LARGE TERMITE cocoons hanging from the ceilingThey are filled with maggots or larvae, which fall from the ceiling at the lightest touchThey are descending from small holes in the ceiling, presumably from the attic space above the ceiling which may be filled with many more larvaeWe have already spent over $on a maid service, who attempted to make a dent in the grime but the floors and house are still filthyAdditionally, the maid found two dead, dry lizards in the kitchen window sillIf our maid saw them, why didn't the maid RPMDC claim they hired see them? For the homeowners, they should be concerned letting RPMDC take care of their propertyFor tenants, they should be aware that they are entering unclean propertiesIn short, John X [redacted] property management company is a huge disappointment to the Coachella Valley community

I rented a property managed by Real Property ManagementEvery single encounter I had with the company involved an employee making some sort of mistake, miscommunicating in some way, or just out right not doing their job properly My initial encounter was upon move in I called and requested whether or not I could move in one day prior to the set move in date - I was told absolutely no problem and made an appointment to pick up keys the following dayI also received an email from Real Property Management stating that I need to pay my first months rent and security deposit through their websiteI did so and upon arrival to pick up keys the next day the very same employee I spoke to told me I could not move in a day prior unless I pay the previous months insuranceI reminded her that she told me otherwise over the phoneShe also told met that I wasn't supposed to pay them online that I needed to bring a money order - I reminded her that the email sent to me by the company instructe

On Feb 2018, Unit * tenant from our property decided to move out so we hired Real Property Management Desert Cities company to help us to find new tenant as well as doing the move-out inspection, key returnning processWe hired them because they were the management company for this property before we purchased it last year (Sept 2017)So they should be very familiar with the property than other management companies around that areaMoreover, we had ok experience with them as we hired them to help on Unit * when Unit A tenant decided to move out on Dec On Unit A, the process went ok without too much trouble For those issues they reported during the move-out inspection on Unit *They give me a quote how much they will charge to fix themMost of the items,I fixed them myself or get someone else to fix it (cheaper)I do ask the management company to help me to fix sink pustoppers (master bathroom and the another bathroom) and patch a ceiling hole ins

Real Property Management in Palm Desert, CA has had the same individuals working there, as far as I can rememberIf the individual did sell the company to someone else, I do not know who said company is since they must have not done proper paper work regarding this as well
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2014/04/02) */
I sold this company over two years ago to Desert Horizon LLCIf I am bothered further with this complaint I will file one against Revdex.com with the State

Real Property Management I Think NOT!!!! More like Real BAD property managementAfter following their protocol for requesting maintenance about a refrigerator/freezer that had gone out it took them days to even acknowledge the request and only after I called back to checkFinally the 5th day they sent out a maintenance man to check on the refrigerator/freezer and he explained it needed to be replacedThe food had to be thrown out and could not be replaced as the fridge was not workingAfter maintenance man gave the information to the Real Property management it took them an entire week to be able to come in and replace the refrigeratorNo compensation, no small fix (aka small fridge) to help alleviate the problemNOTHING! Every time they spoke with me on the phone, especially Alexis B***, they were extremely rude They do not care about their tenants and are not willing to resolve issuesI will not be renewing my leaseI would suggest not renting from this companyas they do not give one ounce of respect
