Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:It does not, upon further investigation, have an absolute guarantee that RealInvestors will honor their supposedly "ironclad" 60-day money back guarantee rather it is simply stated that they have oneI want an absolute guarantee they will honor it with ME upon returning the Homestudy CourseWithout one there can be no deal.Sincerely, [redacted] * ***

To Whom It May Concern,
As I have said time and time again I would be more than happy to return the Homestudy Course if and only if RealInvestors upholds it's supposedly ironclad 60-day money back guarantee, which means returning all the money of my first two months of my membership and absolving me of any other debt or obligations that has supposedly accumulatedI will have no problem with filing another complaint and pressing legal action if RealInvestors' does not follow through once I return the Homestudy Course. Sincerely,
*** ***

** *** entered into an agreement that resulted in us providing him with a $2,course at NO CHARGE, in exchange for his agreement to a 1-year membership.*** *** by his own admission neither honored his commitment, nor returned the materials. Specifically he states:
"...since I had not
returned the "Homestudy Course" they only suspended my membership and
did not cancel it."We are not interested in pursing legal action against *** ***, but he has refused to either return the course, or pay the membership. We do offer a 60-Day refund policy, however, it does require that he return the merchandise. This is no different than any other merchant. If *** *** wants us to uphold our end of the agreement, then he must be prepared to do the same.Is *** *** prepared to return the materials provided in re-salable condition?

purchase a property.  These funds were placed in an Escrow Account we maintain at [redacted] Bank. The nature of [redacted]'s complaint was a) He was unsatisfied with the services he received from [redacted], and b) He wanted his Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) returned to him.We had already notified [redacted] that he needed to complete certain paperwork (as required by Maryland law) when he submitted his complaint to the Revdex.com.  Further, at the time of his complaint he had also retained legal counsel. We sent [redacted]'s EMD funds to our attorney ([redacted], Esq. of Towson, MD) who was able to get [redacted] to complete the required paperwork.  We have confirmed with [redacted] that he received the return of his EMD funds several months ago.[redacted] is no longer with our firm, therefore, we can not address the part of [redacted]'s complaint that was specifically directed at [redacted], however, we can affirm that all outstanding money's were returned immediately upon [redacted] providing the necessary paperwork, as required by Maryland law.If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me directly at ###-###-####.Regards,Sherman R[redacted] -- Sherman R[redacted], CCIM

Unfortunately, Mr. [redacted] has not shared the entire story with the Revdex.com.Specifically, Mr. [redacted] entered into a plain English (12 point font) agreement in which he was provided a $2,400.00 course, which he refers to as: "the CD/DVD box set."The so-called...

CD/DVD box set is actually three binders and 50 cd's/dvd's which sell for $2,400.00 at retail. He was provided these materials for FREE, in exchange for entering into a 12-month agreement to pay. When it was brought to his attention that he would have to return these materials, he refused to do so.In fact, even in his complaint he states: "I had not returned the CD/DVD box set...  However, since I had not returned the CD/DVD box set..."At this point in time, he still has not returned the materials. After several attempts to reach a resolution with Mr. [redacted], he had his legal firm send us a DEMAND letter. As all businesses do, we referred his Attorney's letter to our attorney, at which point we were told to not have any further direct conversations with Mr. [redacted].We would have gladly worked this out, and provided Mr. [redacted] with a complete refund, HOWEVER, it was Mr. [redacted] who refused to return the items provided to him, it was Mr. [redacted] who hired an attorney and send us a demand letter, and it was Mr. [redacted] who hung up the telephone on Ms. W[redacted], not as he described it in his other email to the Revdex.com.At this point there is little we can do for Mr. [redacted], unless he is prepared to return the items provided to him and drop his legal action. We will do all that we can, and we have a spotless history in working with the Revdex.com on the few complaints we have had over the past 15 years of being in business, but any refund must include a return of the merchandise provided to Mr. [redacted].

Review: I was looking to get started in wholesaling and really looking forward to the opportunity. I knew from the beginning my time would be short and I let Dom, who is the main trainer in the Baltimore location, know this but he still insisted I should get started anyways. When I did it was difficult for me to juggle everything I was doing, especially since I had three other businesses I was trying to build at the same time. I decided I wanted to wait till I had more time and let Dom know that and just wanted a refund of what I had paid so far for the membership.

There was an advertized ironclad 60-day money back guarantee. I paid them about $416 for the first two months between June and July when I decided to cancel toward the end of July (I started in the mid-point of June). However, this is when Ms. Lisa W[redacted] entered the picture and told me that since I had not given written notice within the first 45 days and because I had not returned the CD/DVD box set that everyone gets I could not be reimbursed that it was their policy not to. I had my LegalShield attorney send them a letter on my behalf and that immediately got them to drop any notion of a "45 day of notice" (which would make their guarantee really only 15 days).

However, since I had not returned the CD/DVD box set, I was told by Ms. Lisa W[redacted] that I still had to owe them for the first two months IN ADDITION to every month after that because technically without turning them in my membership was only SUSPENDED and NOT CANCELLED even though I requested it be cancelled. I have told them that when I receive ALL my money back I will be more than happy to return the CD/DVD box set. However, they have escalated the issue to collections and I will fill out a separate complaint for unethical collections practices after this one.Desired Settlement: All I want is my money back, which I believe for the first two months of membership comes to roughly $416, and any and all further obligations to RealInvestors LLC to be cancelled!
