Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]I've attached pictures of the damage. The First show damage due to the roof not being attached to the rafters (proper terms might be off). The other picture shows where the roof punctured a hole in attic making a ramp for water to enter when windy. This cause interior damage to our ceiling

Hoosier Contractors prides itself on holding their employees and subcontractors to the highest industry standards and anything less is unacceptable. Hoosier is one of a few roofing contractors to achieve the Master Elite contractor with GAF in Indianapolis and has won multiple awards.
Hoosier has reviewed this homeowner’s concern and it has been resolved. As always, the most important work Hoosier does is ensuring our customers receive the best service possible. Hoosier Contractors sent someone to Mr*** property on multiple occasions for inspections and to fix any issues that may have occurred. We were able to pin down the concern and get it corrected. We appreciate the feedback on this matter and will absolutely address with our staff to prevent this from occurring again

This complaint arose from an issue with the insurance company not approving necessary additional code items in a timely manner. We circumvented this process to better accommodate the customer. The issue has been resolved, her leak has been temporarily fixed and her roof replacement is
scheduled to occur this Friday. We encourage our customer to please feel free to reach out to us if she has any further questions or concerns, but we greatly appreciate her understanding and feedback while we work to understand the insurance companies' change in process

Customer feedback is what helps our company grow and also better serve our clients.  Our goal is to leave every customer we meet satisfied whether they choose us for their project or not.  However, after completing our inspection on water testing, we did not see any leaks from the roof....

We will gladly go back out and do another water test inspection to confirm it is not from the roof.

We pride ourselves on being experts in the claim handling process and we put a significant amount of time and money into each file before we even start the construction process.  This is why we enter into an agreement with every homeowner with whom we do business.  We train our sales force...

to explain four vital elements of our agreement: 1.        If the insurance company does not pay for the replacement work, the agreement is null and void; 2.       We work with the insurance company to get the replacement work paid for; 3.       If we get the insurance company to pay for the replacement work, you agree to let us do the work; and 4.       The only cost to you is your deductible and any upgrades or warranties you choose.  We do everything above board and by the book so we do not put ourselves or our homeowners in a position of committing insurance fraud.  In this situation, the insurance company denied the replacement work and we got it approved after several months of working with the insurance company.  We do our best to explain this process to every homeowner we serve.  We have served thousands of homeowners in the greater Indianapolis area and the vast majority of the clients we serve are ecstatic with the service we provide.  We are sorry there appears to have been a misunderstanding here, but this process allows us to provide the best service to the customers we serve.  Since the complaint was filed with the Revdex.com, the [redacted] have moved forward with Hoosier and the replacement work as outlined by the insurance company was completed on April 21, 2016.

After Stephon taking the time to explain what is going on. Now it makes sense.. When we could get Hoosier Contractors to talk with us, all they would say is your account is closed with us.. That really doesn't give us much information.

complaint ID [redacted], and find that this response/resolution is satisfactory to me, however, if the business does not reach out within the timeframe they specified, I would consider this unsatisfactory.  I am not sure how to accept the resolution since one has not yet been provided.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. After speaking with Hoosier Contractors, we contacted our insurance company. Per the insurance company we had to contact [redacted] Adjusters as they were listed as our 3rd party reps. which was contacted by Hoosier Contractors. Stefano from [redacted] informed us that the remaining amount on the claim was $3306 and some change.. He also informed us that the replacement cost for the roof, siding, gutters and paint were paid out on the initial check from our insurance company. By our calculations there is still roughly $1600.00 that is unaccounted for. Stefano was supposed to get in touch with Hoosier Contractors and inquiry about the initial payment of the siding, gutters, paint and why there is no refund for services not performed. We have an e-mail from an employee of this company stating the amount to be refunded and we have yet to see it.
Regards,
[redacted]

Hoosier Contractors has been in contact with both Stefan from [redacted] Claims and Mr. [redacted] regarding this claim throughout the process.  Stefan has spoken to Mr. [redacted] on multiple occasions regarding the additional amount that will be released by the Insurance Company once the remaining accessories are completed by the homeowner.   After speaking with Mr. [redacted], we do not feel there are any further issues. We will gladly take the time to speak with Mrs. [redacted] to clarify any misunderstanding.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.  We have reviewed your request and after investigating we will be scheduling a representative to inspect/repair your property in the next 5 business days.

Hoosier Contractors has contacted this customer about the refund in question.  After speaking with the customer and explaining that not all funds have been released from the Insurance Company, we are not able to refund an amount that we have not been paid on.  The funds we have received...

from the Insurance Company does not equal the RCV claim amount.  We spoke to the Insurance Company and the Adjuster will call the insured to explain in detail.  We also explained to the customer that once the work is complete, the IC will release the remaining funds.  After explaining this to the customer the funds have not been released by the Insurance Company, Hoosier Contractors believes there is now a better understanding.
