Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/10/05) */ This is my response for the complaint filed by [redacted] I am responding on behalf of the owner [redacted] and [redacted] and myself [redacted] with Realty Property Management Inc I placed these tenants at the property at [redacted] Clovis on October 10, This property had been professionally cleaned along with the carpets before they took possession I always treat owners and tenants in the same manner with professionalism and to the best of my abilityI have done property management for years The first week they took possession of this property they told the owner they had fleasI never saw any or was bit by any during the mobut the owners are very good about handling any repair items or problems a tenant should haveThey went ahead and sprayed for the tenants During their tenancy the owners handyman was over at the home doing some minor repairs he noticed the tenants had put up an excessive amount of crosses on the living room wall and had told the owners about this When the tenants were vacating they told me to check that wall for numerous holes and I had told the tenant I had heard she had a lot of crosses because I actually collect crosses tooThe owners were not checking on them through Facebook like she has accused Also during the tenancy the tenant would do many things without the consent of the ownerThe gardener called the owners and told them they had a dough boy pool in the backyard and he had a hard time doing the yardThe owners did not want a pool in the yard due to the liabilityI contacted the tenants to do an inspection for the owners but the tenant contacted her friend which was an attorney and he called me to tell me that I could not go over to the houseThe owners thought that was weird and that they were hiding somethingAt that time the owners decided they were not going to renew their lease and wanted me to give them a notice to vacateThey had a little over months left on their leaseWhen I served them the notice about a week later the tenant asked if they could vacate earlyThe owners and the tenants agreed to terminate one month early The tenants were very aware at that time that the carpets needed to be professionally doneShe asked me how much I thought it would beAt that time I quoted her a little low not knowing that the carpets were so dirty and stained in the master bedroom The owners has other rental homes in this area of Clovis/Fresno and are fully aware how to treat tenants and their privacyThey are very good about doing repairs in a timely manner and expect rents to be paid on time The tenant , [redacted] , would call me and got very sarcastic and was rude if I didn't say what she wanted to hereI actually think she was going to harass the owner so much they were going to throw in the towelThey are responsible to have those carpets professional cleaned and I actually feel like we let her go on some items If you have any questions please feel free to give me a call XXX-XXXX Ext [redacted] I hope this answer your letter Thank you, [redacted] Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 7, 2015/10/06) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Her response is a perfect example of what I felt with during my stay in that homeNot once did I ever recieve a notice to vacateI called [redacted] because I felt that [redacted] was harassing me every month that I paid rent on the 5thThey wanted to sell the home so they were finding reasons to complain aboutLike the pool I put up in the back yard on the cementI was not in violation of any part of my contract, I also had my attorney contact the owners and [redacted] in regards to thisI am the one that asked to break my lease simply because of the harrasment I was receiving while renting that home [redacted] is a Bully, not once did I get sarcastic with her until she called me immature, and she made that statement because I said I should of made sure there were fleas left in the carpets cause that it how the home was when I moved in If the owners would have notified me that they wanted to sell the home, I would have understood and the transition would of been fine with usBut being harassed to get someone out so you can cheat them out of their deposit is simply unexceptabke and unprofessional At least I know I have stayed truthful in my statements, I would never lieAgain, I never received a vacate notice!
