Our Customer Support and Sales Person had extensively gone over what the client wanted before signing the contract, which is why the company and client came to the agreement
of going with a specific third party IDX (home search engine)We moved forward with IDX broker (the specified home search engine)
because it would allow us to easily create the agent pages (within his singular website) with their listings, bios and
contact information and have the ability for him to designate whom leads go to, once someone signs up on the website, as requestedWe designed one website with multiple pages, not individual
websites, as agreedThe contract does not state, in any way, that he will be receiving
multiple websites with multiple home searches for each individual agentThe client's
contract clearly states he will be receiving " A custom website” (which we delivered),
"an office IDX (IDX Broker)” which we delivered and mobile home search. We are completely capable of providing each agent a website and IDX, but there would be additional costs and larger setup fees since each website takes time, which the client refused to payWe feel that we have been completely professional, provided what was paid for and contracted, and are now being bullied into giving services for freeThe client had a website that was live and functioning properlyThe only reason why
he currently has no website is because he has defaulted on paying his monthly
payments on his contract, which, as with any client, results in a website being temporarily deactivated
until payments are receivedThe amount the client is requesting refunded is for the setup/development/design, which were all doneWe do not see any reason to refund the amountHowever, the client is under contract and to early terminate his contract would require him to pay 75% of the remainder of the contract or go into collections for all the unpaid monthsWe feel it is a fair compromise that we will waive the remainder of the contract, if the client will cease trying to regain money that we are rightfully due especially since we delivered exactly
what he orderedOtherwise, we will move forward with sending the full amount to our collections agency for defaulting on a one year signed contract that RealtyTech fulfilled

Christopher *** had contacted
us about wanting a company website that would have the following features:
Agent pages (not full website) with THEIR listings within his broker site
Custom search links
Lead routing for agents
The ability for agents to log
into their designated page on the broker site to make changes to the contact information/bio
And other design ideas like
wanting a design similar to kw.com with a search widget on the homepage
After we had designed the
website for Mr***, which did take longer than expected due to the
holidays and a lack of detail on his preferences about the actual design/content
for the custom home pageHowever, his monthly bill was refunded to compensate for the delayThereafter, he
had requested more features to be added to the website, that had not been previously
discussed, such as the ability to have links for each listing, that was on the
MLS, indexed on a site map on his website and for each
agent to have their own individual search websiteWhen we asked him more about
what he wanted with the individual pages, he suddenly gave us examples from another company that
provides each agent with their own entire website and their own IDXThis is not what
we had originally discussed or we would not have made him a single website
contract and the cost would have been much greater for each agent to have their
own website completely
We gave Mr***
everything that we had originally agreed upon and he did have a website that was
created and completed for him as contractedThe website that we created had the capabilities
to have individual agent pages (not full websites) with their own listings within his broker site, the appearance of their contact information and
bios that people could sign up on,and it did have lead routingThe agents would have been able to forward a domain name (URL) to their page and
create an ad campaign with their domain nameMr*** never had another agent
page created, aside from himself, because he was still testing most of the functionality that he had
agreed upon in the first place
The website he ordered was
delivered and the agents having their own individual websites was never brought up
before the contract was signed nor during the creation of the websiteThe request for individual websites for each agent was
only brought up after the his broker website was already completedAs he states in his complaint,
he signed the contract 11/20/13, it took two months to finish the website and
it wasn’t until the third month that the “Problem Occurred” and he suddenly decided he wanted websites for each personHe already
attempted to dispute the specified amount with the bank, which the bank has already denied him, everything we had originally agreed upon was provided and he has
nothing else to show because it wasn’t a problem until he saw
something else that he wantedHe is merely trying to find a way to fraudulently get out of his obligations and the contract he signed

I am rejecting this response because: The sales person for RealtyTech completely misrepresented what the functionality for the website was going to be. It is clear to me now the salesman told me what I wanted to hear in order to get me to pay the entire price of the website upfront ($2099.00). Most companies require half upfront and the rest upon completion. This salesman wanted everything upfront. Also, regarding the "contract", I never used the website at all. Not even one day. How could I? It wan't what I ordered and could not use it for what I needed. I find it even more outrageous this company is trying to charge me a monthly fee for a website that was never used and is not what I ordered in the first place. RealtyTech has done nothing to try to resolve this issue. They have only demanded more money completely disregarding my complaint. This obtuse attitude RealyTech has chosen to take in this discussion shows just how little they care about customer support or satisfaction. At first I thought this was the bad business ethics of just one of their salesmen but now it is becoming painfully clear to me this seems to be the way this company does business. I am outraged by RealtyTech's business practices and I am in the process of making further formal complaints with the California Dept. of Consumer Affairs, the Attorney Gerneral's Office division of consumer affairs, ripoffreport.com and others. I also ask the Revdex.com to give me any other avenues I can utilize to bring this company's fraudulent business practices to light.

Review: In November 2013 I initially contacted RealtyTech by phone requesting the creation of a company website which had the function of an agent page where the agent could attach a domain name to the page, place it on Google Adwords so people could view the homes on their agent page and capture leads for themselves, then manage the leads in their own lead management system.I gave examples of specific model websites to Mr. [redacted] at RealtyTech over the phone and via email. We reviewed these sites over several phone discussions to clarify the specific functions I required in my own site. I was assured by Mr. [redacted] that he could produce a site that served these functions. I was assured this could be done within four weeks. Two months later, I am shown a website that does not have the ability for agents to have the prospects search for homes on their agent page and then become a lead for them. The website is not what I ordered and have not used it at all as it is useless to me.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $2,099.00 which I paid initially.
