Review: REAPER HOUSE ENTERTAINMENT LLC was going to host a camp in Connecticut in July. I purchased tickets online in April for a total of $352. 2 days before the event, on July 9, an email was sent stating that the event was cancelled and refunds would be processed. On July 19 another email was sent stating that they were liquidating assests to try to issue refunds. No further communication has been recieved. Emails accounts have been cancelled, phone numbers either abandonded or turned off.I contacted the Connecticut Department of Consumer affairs - however they said since the company is based in California that I should file my complaint there.here is all of the contact information that I have:[redacted]###-###-#######-###-####Desired Settlement: I want a refund of the money paid.

Review: On April 9, 2014 I purchased group tickets to an event being held by Reaper House Entertainment. The event was entitled Terror Trails and was to take place on July 12, 2014 in Connecticut. The tickets were a total of $550. On July 9, 2014, three days before the event I received a cancellation e-mail from Reaper House Entertainment. Since then there has been no further communication on their end. I have tried consistently reaching out by e-mail and telephone; however, there is no response. There was no reason given for the cancellation and since then they have disconnected one of their telephone numbers listed on the website, deactivated their Facebook page and have not answered any e-mails. It is apparent that this is a scam which is causing severe emotional distress on my end. I have tried going through both Paypal and my credit card company but they are unable to help me get my $550 back for this event. The purpose of this complaint is to get my money back from Reaper House Entertainment in the amount of $550.00. I have been unable to get an update from them regarding a refund and they are evading all forms of communication. I did not benefit from this event as it did not take place. Reaper House Entertainment has taken my $550.00 and have made no efforts to refund it. I ask that you please assist me in resolving this matter.Desired Settlement: I am seeking settlement in the amount of $550.00 which is the amount I paid for the tickets to Terror Trails which was cancelled by Reaper House Entertainment.
