We have come to a resolution

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:This camera was a Christmas gift to me from my children, thus purchased before 12/**/ After the holidays, it was installed It did not work as advertised, leading to lengthy email discussions, requested return and exchange of the monitor, additional emails, etc My dissatisfaction grew over that lengthy time When nothing was working to correct the issues OR create customer satisfaction, I requested a refund Only then was I told company policy was never to issue refunds, only exchanges Why would an exchange of an unsatisfactory product be satisfactory? The days had also expired with the ongoing communications, viewed later by myself as stall tactics Seeing the company's policy, written by the CEO, stating that their goal was "100% customer satisfaction", I wrote to herShe did not bother to even respond! It is untrue that this company has done everything to satisfy their customer! Their policy of "no refunds" to a terribly dissatisfied customer is testimony to the fact that customer satisfaction is not at all important to them I refuse to accept this company's response and again request a refund for my son

I went to hire this company way in March andI am on disability As soon as I realized they were taking advantage of my condition and I sent there for only one thing....they were dishonest about what would help me and went on and on selling me things they would do for me to protect me My Uncle called them to put a stop to this Instead they continue to *** me because I was very unsatisfied and the one thing which I didnt even know was one of them *** sold me on getting my apartment debugged? This is so questionable because I really didn't need it and instead there were gong through stff etc while they kept me out of the apartment due to it having to be quiet That was the biggest mistake I made, please be wary regarding a company *** I have three Doctors letter that were sent to them to cease and desist ever coming near me, *** *** *** *** *** Please be aware never sign anything and talk to the police first about the incident before ever hiring a company like this one Thank you

Wow!  What an unprofessional response from Rear View Safety!  It was this company's customer service representative who told me on the phone that it was company policy to never issue refunds, just to exchange.  And as I have explained countless times, the 30-day window was exhausted while I talked repeatedly to representatives of the company in attempts to resolve the ongoing issues.  I remain completely dissatisfied.

Rear View Safety Inc return policy: items can be returned  to us within 30 days of receipt of item(s).We have gone above and beyond to make the customer happy by offering her an exchange of the system because her complaint was that the camera and monitor did not work for her...

I did not have the tracking number for the package when I initially contacted RearViewSafety and I don't have it now. After shipping the product in question, to RearViewSafety, I was contacted by a RearViewSafety technician after the package had been received by RearViewSafety. The technician stated that they could not find any issues after testing the monitor but agreed to perform further testing. Because of the contact to myself, by RearViewSafety, I know for a fact that they received my monitor.

UPS does not make shipment records available past 90 days; as such I am unable to retrieve a copy of the shipment transaction. I received a phone call from a RearViewSafety technician confirming receipt of my monitor so I know it was received. 
I have not yet received a refund from RearViewSafety.

Review: I sent a defective LCD monitor back to Rear View Safety for repair. After several months time I contacted Rear View Safety about returning the monitor; at this point Rear View Safety replied that they had lost or were no longer in posession of my monitor and refused to refund my money or send a replacement.Desired Settlement: Return like equipment or refund amount originally paid.
