Business

Response:

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the Ms[redacted] complaint. We reviewed our database and based on the information provided by Ms. [redacted] and were unable to locate any contact from her. We left a message today on Ms[redacted] voice mail with our corporate number indicating to please contact us back.

Response:

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response. If you wish, you may update it before sending it.]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: [redacted] recently had a mail in rebate offer where you purchase the [redacted] no touch hand soap system, mail in the original receipt along with the UPC code from the package and a cheque will be mailed. I sent in the documentation in August 2013 but didn't receive anything. I also contacted [redacted] through the Contact Us page on their [redacted].ca website twice since then and haven't received any response from Customer Service. Not even an acknowledgement of the email. My friend and I mailed in the rebate the same day and she got her rebate back early October. I consider this extremely irresponsible on part of the company and truly an example of false advertising or not fulfilling a commitment of refund.Desired Settlement: Refund amount of $10.17+postage+inconvenience caused due to constant follow up for a small amount. ($100 minimum)

Business

Response:

We have asked the consumer to send us copies of his rebate. Our rebate form states to retain copies of submission.

Business

Response:

Dear Ms. [redacted]

This is in response to the above reference incident for [redacted].

I have checked with our rebate fulfillment agency and they have informed me that a check was issued to Mr. [redacted] as follows:

"Please be advised cheque # [redacted] $10.80 processed on Oct 4/13 offer 041K3 PO#16755 [redacted] NO-TOUCH KIT MAIL-IN REFUND OFFER was mailed to [redacted], LPH [redacted] on October 8, 2013." As this appears to be the correct address, I can do a tracer stop pay and reissue a new cheque. Also please note, as clearly stated on the claim form, “ Not responsible for lost, late, misdirected or undelivered mail."

Since Mr. [redacted] states he has not received this check, I have requeted a stop payment and the fulfillment agency will issue a new check to Mr. [redacted].

If you have any questions, please do not hestiate to contact me.

Thank you.

Review: I used Resolve pet formula to get dog vomit out of my bedroom carpet. The product instructions state that one must blot off the product after five minutes. I followed the instructions.

Being that it was a "pet" product and many pet products use enzymes to remove organic stains it's reasonable to assume, which I did, that the product was a relatively innocuous and non-bleaching compound. But it isn't and it bleached my rug, for which I paid $900-something in April 20014. (I'm getting a copy of that invoice and can send it to you.)

My dog threw up in about 12 different spots around and under my bed. Seven of those spots are discolored due to the Resolve product. There was a hidden spot under the bed that I didn't find for a few weeks. I never treated it with Resolve and by the time I found it the spot was dry. It vacuumed up easily and left no stain, thus proving that the vomit is not what caused the discoloration in my carpet.

The Resolve pet product instructions should say that when you "blot" off the Resolve product that you need get 100% of it out of the carpet. They should be emphatic about that since this product apparently contains harsh chemicals capable of ruining carpet.Desired Settlement: I would like Reckitt Benckiser to pay me for the value of my carpet, which was 8 months old at the time that their product bleached it.

Business

Response:

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to Ms. [redacted] concerns. Due to her complaint, we have reached out directly to Ms. [redacted] in order to discuss her concerns further. Ms. [redacted] was again advised that the pretest that she performed using our Resolve® Pet Stain on the carpet was successful; the nature of the stain itself was highly acidic which could cause the problem she encountered, as well as label directions were not followed. Although she appeared to understand our comments, should she wish for us to investigate this further, she certainly can contact us again. We still remain confident, due to all factors provided; including our knowledge of our product, that Resolve® Pet Stain was not responsible for the bleaching of her carpet and other circumstances were involved.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because:They are incorrect when they state that I didn't follow the label instructions. I have told them that I followed the instructions so it seems they're being deliberately obtuse on this point. Also, their claim that the dog vomit was acidic doesn't make sense. The product is specifically labeled for pet messes. If it reacts oddly with some pet messes, as Mr. [redacted] told me on the phone Jan. 16, then that's a problem with their product. The product, used correctly, bleached my carpet.Attached is the invoice for this carpet, which was installed April 2014. Total cost is $866.04. Also attached are photos of some of the stains. I have more photos.

Business

Response:

We will send additional correspondence to customer to investigate her complaint further. We appreciate the opportunity to address the customers concerns.

Review: Purchased [redacted] When I went to use the product, the spray handle cracked at the connection point to the bottle and the bleach spilled out from the bottle onto my new black jeans and over my kitchen mats in October 2014.

I submitted a claim and sent them the requested items (defective bottle, copy of receipts, and bleached jeans) in October. Have spent the past four months dealing with canned form letters, bureaucracy, excuses and foot dragging from their Consumer Relations Specialist, Stephen S[redacted].

After escalating the situation, Reckitt Benckiser offered a partial reimbursement to pay for my jeans, but will not reimburse me for the replacement of my kitchen mats.

Reckitt Benckiser will not assume responsibility for manufacturing a defective product packaging and causing damage to my personal property. Their products present a consumer safety hazard. They employ unfair business practices by hiding behind corporate bureacracy and delay tactics in the hope affected customers will give up.Desired Settlement: I am requesting reimbursement for the replacement of my jeans ($47.60) and the replacement of two kitchen mats ($44.64).

Business

Response:

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to respond to [redacted] concerns. Below is the initial email sent to our company from [redacted] on Monday 10/20/2014 at 5:29 PM: SALUTATION: Mr. FIRST NAME: [redacted] LAST NAME: [redacted] EMAIL: [redacted] ADDRESS1: [redacted] PHONE: [redacted] AGE: [redacted] MESSAGE: REGARDING: [redacted] Last night when I went to use your product, [redacted] All Purpose Cleaner with Bleach. Went I went to use the spray, the screw top cracked along its seam and broke off from the bottle. The liquid from the bottle splashed on my new black jeans (purchased on 10/11) and all over my kitchen floor. I spent the next 45 mins cleaning the spilled liquid. I contacted your Product Help Line this morning and opened up ticket reference #[redacted]. I would like your company to reimburse me for the cost of replacing my jeans that were damaged as a result of the defective screw top and to determine whether my incident was an isolated incident or is a product packaging defect that could result in other similar incidents. I can provide pictures or any additional substantiation you require. Please advise. Based on this correspondence the appropriate paperwork was processed. We requested the affected garment back, completion of the provided questionnaire along with the product in question. Upon review of the information received, it was now noted that additional alleged damage occurred to kitchen mats. Therefore, we requested via email photographs of these items in question. Unfortunately, it was communicated that the items in question were discarded and no photographs were available for review. Regretfully, without being provided this pertinent information we are unable to honor [redacted] request for additional monetary compensation other than the goodwill offer for his jeans. Sincerely,Stephen S[redacted]Consumer Relations Specialist

Consumer

Response:

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

While Reckitt Benckiser may require photographs and/or the physical mats, this was not feasible as I had to throw them out to avoid discoloring my carpets and other personal items. The kitchen floor mats were noted in the original claim documentation and Consumer Relations was notified that I could not provide this. The terms should not be dictated by the "goodwill" of the retailer and does not absolve Reckitt Benckiser of manufacturing a defective consumer product that caused customer harm and inconvenience. RB has not apologized or taken accountability for the event. If Reckitt Benckiser will not want settle my claim in full, I will seek remedy by exercising my legal rights in ** small claims court.

Regards,

Review: I regularly use Resolve stain remover/carpet cleaner and have never had an issue until recently. I sprayed a few spots on the carpet without a problem however the last spot I cleaned resulted in a bleached spot on the carpet. When I contacted the company requesting assistance repairing/replacing the carpet spot, they simply sent coupons for additional product with a letter expressing their apology we did not find the product to our satisfaction.Desired Settlement: Reckitt Benkiser bottled and sold product that resulted in damage to our carpet and we simply would like the ruined spot of carpet replaced or repaired at the expense of Reckitt Benkiser. We have a new home and still have left over carpet that may be used to repair the damaged area. We still have the original bottle that was used that created the damage in case they would like to analyze their faulty product.

We are not seeking any compensation nor are we trying to be difficult and simply want Reckitt Benckiser to stand behind their product and repair the damage it caused.

Response:

We will be following up with consumer today in regards to her complaint.

Thank you.

Response:

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

My wife and I opened a complaint regarding a cleaning product that damaged our carpet. My wife is unable to respond or update the complaint and after looking at it with her, it appears the complaint is closed. This issue is NOT addressed

and should not be closed. Reckitt Benckiser lnc. sent us a questionnaire and requested we send them carpet samples as well the original product. We completed the questionnaire and sent the requested items to them a few weeks ago. We would like the complaint opened back up and this information attached to it.

Please instruct us as to how the complaint can be opened back up

Business

Response:

We received the container or our product back from consumer as well as a sample remnant of her carpet. We forwarded both to our Research & Development Team for evaluation and testing. Our Research and Development Team performed extensive testing using consumer's specific returned container of Resolve® Triple Action Oxi Carpet Cleaner on the carpet remnant as well as on various other carpet samples in our laboratory. The consumer's product was applied directly to the carpet remnant she provided and the carpet samples in our laboratory, per label directions, and then observed for damage or discoloration. Absolutely no damage or discoloration occurred during or after testing. Additionally, the consumer's product was applied to the remnant she provided to us and to the carpet samples in our laboratory and allowed to remain for an extended amount of time (24 hours); and again observed for damage or discoloration. No damage/discoloration occurred and our laboratory was unable to duplicate the consumer's complaint on the carpet sample you provided nor on any of the carpet samples in our laboratory.

It may be helpful to understand that there are many types of stains that will cause permanent discoloration. In some instances, the discoloration may not be apparent immediately after the accident. It may take several hours or even days to appear. And, in some cases, the color change may not be noticed until the actual stain or soil has been removed. Products and stains that can cause permanent discoloration or a "bleaching" effect are oxidizing agents, scouring products, permanent wave neutralizing solutions, disinfectants, acne preparations, as well as other skin lotions and medications, insecticides, and toothpaste as well as many household cleaning products. Additionally, pet stains which include; urine, diarrhea, and vomit are acidic based stains and can cause permanent discoloration even after cleaning. This can be attributed to factors including the health of a pet, medications they may be taking, or overall diet. It should also be noted that there are stains that may be impossible to remove regardless of the type of method used for cleaning.

Based on our evaluation, knowledge of our product, and as stated above, we can only conclude there were other circumstances involved with the consumer's experience and are confident that the damage depicted in the consumer's photographs were not caused by Resolve® Triple Action Oxi Carpet Cleaner.

Review: This is in regards to the [redacted] no mess automatic toilet bowl cleaner that clips to your toilet. Two issues with this product;

The plastic clip has scratched several of my family members multiple times.

The second thing that happened was the clip and tablet came off and went down the toilet. Couldn't get the clip/toilet tab out. Became embedded in the s pipe. As a result, we had to buy a new toilet.

[redacted]no warning on packaging regarding either items???only discussed eye or skin irritation. I spoke with customer service and cs supervisor. He would do nothing.Desired Settlement: I would like the company to pay for the toilet we had to purchase. Wasn't my husbands idea to spend the morning installing a toilet. Mind you, he was leaving that day for a flight to INDIA!

I'm a packaging engineer, sales manager and sales trainer- I would never treat anyone the way recknitt benckiser did.

Business

Response:

The policy of RB is to thoroughly investigate any complaint concerning one of our products. All of our products are extensively tested by our Research and Development Department as well as our Quality Department. When used in accordance to label directions, [redacted] No-Mess Toilet Bowl Cleaner is both a safe and effective product. Based on review of the conversation on 2/23/2015, [redacted] contacted RB regarding an issue with the [redacted] No-Mess Toilet Bowl Cleaner and wanted to be reimbursed for a brand new toilet bowl. At the time of the initial call, the toilet had already been replaced and installed by her husband; and she indicated she had not contacted a professional plumber on this matter. During the conversation, she believes the product was inadvertently removed and flushed down the toilet by her young daughter. We are also sorry to learn of the alleged scratching of family members, as this was not relayed during any of her conversations with us. This type of automatic toilet bowl cleaner is placed over the rim of the bowl with a plastic hook and sits securely underneath the toilet seat, so it is uncertain how it came in contact with the skin.We would like to assure you that when [redacted] No- Mess Toilet Bowl Cleaner is assembled correctly and attached per label directions, it would not be expected to fall into a toilet during normal use. Our Research and Development Department was consulted concerning the incident and advised that pouring hot water into the toilet would speed up the dissolution of the block, or if necessary, could be snaked out. Although we are sorry for this experience, we hope you will understand we cannot be responsible for accidents occurring outside of our control. Unfortunately, we were not provided the opportunity to discuss possible remedies prior to full replacement of the toilet. We appreciate the opportunity to explain our position in this matter.

Review: Every since the FDA Medication Suboxone has been produced in a sublingual film instead of the pills they moved away from to these films, I have gotten my prescription from the pharmacy and the whole box of 30 individually wrapped films were damaged, mis-colored, broken, cracked, stuck to the foil package. This medication cost upwards of $500 for 60 films, I'm not sure if I'm getting the full dose or if they are making me sick, I called Suboxone several times about this and they advise to take them back to the pharmacy for a replacement but its up to the pharmacy if they will switch out the box the company had said, and I'm telling you the pharmacy will not switch them out, too much money for them to lose or something, and Suboxone Reps. did inform me it was at the pharmacies discretion if they would switch them out, even though Suboxone Reps. stated to me for every pouch or film the pharmacy returns to Suboxone that is damaged that they the pharmacy would get reimbursed for them, so I wonder why the pharmacies are not willing to swap them out if like the rep said they will get reimbursed for them?. This is a very important medicine I have to take twice a day and I'm scared as heck when these damaged films pop up, it hasn't happened to me for awhile now, but, wham out of no-where I get a changed dosage and back to damaged films. I had them filled 8/15/2013, the pharmacy label says they expire 8/15/2014, but the box and every pouch I took a picture of says they expire in 2/2014 that's the manufacturers date of going bad, 6 months after I get them, that doesn't even cover the year expiration from the time of being filled as with every other medication.Desired Settlement: I want this issue on file as it has been documented on many forums as happening for at least 2 years I know of, that should be ample time for Suboxone to figure out the problem as they said they were doing, they told me that 2 years ago on my first damaged box of films. This time around the lady had me open 4 pouches in a row to see if any were un-damaged, which all were bad "Have Photos", I told her I wasn't opening any more, as soon as their opened they are meant to be used right away, so I had to discard all those she the rep at Suboxone was having me waste. But they are very expensive as I've explained upwards of $500 for 60 or you can buy a couple at a time for $8-10 a piece depending on the pharmacy.

My insurance had paid for $473.00 worth, my co-pay was Cash $3.50 plus the four (4) I had to waste and the 20 remaining unopened "Im documenting all with pics", but I have to open them and hope I won't get sick and they will work properly when taken, that's my dispute, so whatever the company thinks is right, while taking these damaged ones it leaves me very unsure and agitated as to if its gonna work or if its molecular properties have been damaged and they are completely worthless, Suboxone needs to know this and has had time to correct the matter.

Business

Response:

To Whom it May Concern,

We have received complaint ID# [redacted] for Ms. [redacted] and it is logged into our complaint management system. Based upon the details provided, we respond as follows:

Suboxone Sublingual Films are a novel dosage form for the treatment of opioid dependence and were first introduced to the US market in September 2010. Beginning in the late spring/ early summer of 2011, we became aware of issues regarding cracking and breaking of films in our distribution chain. We began working extensively with our manufacturer to identify and correct the issues leading to cracked and broken film. We’ve taken corrective actions that have resulted in a 7 fold decline in the complaint rate and has continued to decrease dramatically through 2013.

This issue has been documented and discussed with the FDA and we are committed to our patients who use this product to completely eliminate the issue of cracked and broken film.

We encourage patients who call to report damaged films to return them to their pharmacy for replacement. Pharmacies are reimbursed through their wholesaler. It is unclear to us as to why the pharmacy is unwilling to replace the film for this patient. As this product is a prescription and a controlled substance, there is no legal process by which we can reimburse patients directly.

Review: This company had a nationwide promo on the over the counter cough syrup called

[redacted] which offered a rebate or free product by filling out a form emanated from their website. They promised in 10 weeks a rebate check will be mailed. I believed I sent it the form plus the original receipt from the [redacted] where I bought the product. It is now July and I have not gotten the rebate though I contacted them via email. The response was it will be mailed. Two weeks had passed the check is still unreceived.

Business

Response:

Thank you for the opportunity to address Mrs. [redacted] concerns. Upon contacting our fulfillment house agency, records note that the check in question was sent out to the consumer on 5/28/2015. Please see the below records. We can only assume that the rebate check was potentially lost in the mail. Therefore, in the interest of consumer goodwill, we have instructed the fulfillment house to re-issue this rebate check; which is expected to be sent out to Mrs. [redacted] at the beginning of next week.Thank you!

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: the business needs to double the face value of my rebate. Why it took a long time to send the check aNd how did they send it that got lost in the mail, was it in inserted in the envelope or post card method? I should not wait till first week of August and should be sent express as soon as possible.

Review: December 11, 2014 I submitted rebate information for a promotional offer that [redacted] had. All requirements were met, information was submitted to The [redacted] MN 55745 2635. No response was received as of 3/11. I contacted the company via email at [redacted] who responded and who asked that I resubmitted this. A copy that I had of the information for a second time was sent to them on 3/12/2015 via fax to ###-###-#### as per this request. 4/22 I emailed to inquire about the status. They emailed back on 4/30, stated they recived the fax containing the rebate documentation and the rebate was being processed. Today, I got a little fed up with the time that I have invested and the follow through that has been required on my part and feel that the company has not held up their end of the deal. My $13.99 has still not been refunded to me.Desired Settlement: The company needs to hold up their end of the deal and send me the $13.99

Business

Response:

We apologize that the consumer's has not received her rebate. The original submissions were not received. We have received a copy of them and her check was processed. Consumer should be receiving it shortly.

Review: Hello, Reckitt Benckiser, LLC, maker of Lysol toilet bowl cleaner has failed to take responsibility for dangerous bottle top that leaks product from under cap, when used as directed, upon turning upright. Following directions, product gushed out from under cap, leaking all over my skin and also ruining my new marble tile on bathroom floor. Upon complaint, this company asked for proof via photos and also to send bottle back in pre-labeled packaging. Of course, they denied anything was wrong with their product (despite the major fact that there are a large number of complaints about the same product, same leakage problem, on the internet). Upon my further complaining, they asked for 2 estimates to repair my bathroom tile. After sending in the estimates, lowest being $645, I was offered, via mail, only $200 dollars from Reckitt Benckiser so long as I promised to keep my mouth shut. I called them again. The woman told me she wasn't going to offer anymore money. A week later I received an offer for $300 in the mail, again with the promise of keeping quiet. I sent a long-winded letter that I didn't think I should have to pay a dime to repair my home because I bought their dangerous and faulty product which also burned my skin upon contact. Having worked for a cleaning company, I am nowhere near new at cleaning toilets and have never had this problem with any other brand of toilet bowl cleaner. They did not respond to my letter and now will not take my calls despite the fact that I have not been rude or difficult on the phone. I want the justice I deserve, I want them to take responsibility for their product. I would like help in getting what this company owes me which is $645 to repair my flooring.Desired Settlement: I would like my floor to be restored to it's original condition before toilet bowl cleaner exploded on it. The lowest estimate to do this is $645 and Reckitt Benckiser has this written estimate as I sent it to them.

Business

Response:

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this incident. We would like to assure you that the policy of RB is to try and do all that we can for the consumers who use our products, in accordance to label directions, and feel that they encountered an undesirable outcome. Ms. [redacted] incident was thoroughly investigated and discussed indetail with management. Although her returned container was analyzed by our Quality Department and found to contain NO manufacturing defects a fair and final goodwill offer was provided to Ms. [redacted] in the amount of $300.00. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide any additional monetary goodwill offer.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because:

Clearly there is something wrong with the bottle unless it's contents are supposed to unexpectedly gush out all over. I have researched numerous online complaints regarding the same type of occurrence with this product and further complaining that Reckitt Benckiser would not take responsibility for damages done. I am not the only one out here with a problem with this product leaking everywhere when used as directed and clearly not the only one being ignored when I want compensation for damages caused by their product. I am sick and tired of being told there is nothing wrong with the bottle of this product when it is entirely obvious that there is and they just don't want to take responsibility. Something needs to be done here. I am trying to include jpg photos but keep getting a 404 server error and having issue with the website. Let me know if there is an address I can send them directly.

Business

Response:

Thank again for the opportunity to respondto Ms. [redacted] incident. RB thoroughly investigates any complaint in which a consumer feels that a product was used in accordance to label directions, but encountered an undesirable outcome. As communicated Ms. [redacted] incident was thoroughly investigated and discussed in detail with management. Ms. [redacted] contacted us on December 8th 2013regarding her experience. Correspondence was sent out to receive back for investigation; the container in question, a completed questionnaire, along with photographs of the affected floor. Upon receipt, on January 24, 2014 the provided information was forwarded to our Quality Department for analysis. Our Quality Department completed the analysis concerning Ms. [redacted] returned [redacted]. The report indicates that an extensive examination was performed; and no manufacturing defects were detected. Additionally, it is noted that they could not duplicate Ms. [redacted] complaint, that the bottle in question was almost 3 years old, and it was deemed possibly that the bottle was squeezed. We do have a warning,”Avoid squeezing bottle when opening”.Nevertheless, after several correspondences with Ms. [redacted] as well as management, solely in the interest of goodwill, although her submitted product did not contain a manufacturing defect a fair and final goodwill gesture was provided to Ms. [redacted] in the amount of $300.00. We stand behind our Quality Departments analysis and regret that we cannot provide any further goodwill gesture than what has already been offered.

Review: Schiff has a loyalty rewards program where they encourage you to purchase their product in return for future coupons. When reach the require points needed for a coupon, you enter your information and receive an email that states you will receive your coupon in 4-6 weeks. They request you contact them if it is not received in that timeframe. When the coupon does not arrive in the 4-6 weeks and you call them, they then tell you to wait for 10 weeks and they will research it. Then after 10 weeks they give you another story about how they are overwhelmed by the response to the program and do not have any additional information and you will receive an email in a few days stating when you "might receive your coupon". This seems like false advertising to me. When I asked for the address for the Schiff corporate office so I could write to them....they gave me their address and told me to address it to Schiff. This is very discouraging and feel that they are taking advantage of senior citizens. You can never get a direct answer only the run around. Can you please help me get my $10.00 coupon? Thank you for your help.Desired Settlement: I would like my $10.00 coupon mailed immediately not in six months. Thank you for your help.

Business

Response:

Thank you once again for allowing us the opportunity to address Ms. [redacted]’s inquiry regarding our Schiff® Loyalty Rewards Program. Ms. [redacted] will be happy to learn that her reward coupon was sent via the mail on 2/24/2014, so this should be arriving to her shortly. As communicated prior, we did understand the frustration, thus, had credited her account with 50 bonus points in recognition of the delay that she had experienced.

Review: Reckitt Benckiser LLC is the maker of FINISH Dishwashing Products. The company was advertising free with mail-in rebate offers for consumers if they purchased FINISH Quantum (10 ct., 12 ct.), FINISH Powerball/Gelpacs (12 ct., 17 ct., 20 ct.) and/or FINISH Rinse Aid (6.76 oz. or 8.45 oz.) between 3/16/2014-4/12/2014. In order to qualify for the rebate, consumers were required to send in the original, store-identified cash register receipt dated between 3/16/2014-4/12/2014 with the purchase price circled, UPC code copied from the detergent carton or Rinse Aid bottle or both. In addition to this, the consumer's full name, full address and e-mail were to be printed on a 3" x 5" card. All the above was to be mailed to the following:

Finish Try Me Free

P.O. Box 2399

Grand Rapids, MN 55745-2399

I purchased one FINISH Powerball Tabs (UPC [redacted]) in the amount of $3.99 and one FINISH Jet Dry Rinse Aid ([redacted]) in the amount of $3.99 from Cub Foods in Woodbury, MN on 3/19/2014. I then sent in all required documentation as detailed above to the address listed on the rebate offer. It specifically states on the rebate offer to allow 6-8 weeks for the delivery of the rebate offer. I then sent a letter dated 6/27/2014 to the above stated address requesting a rebate status update since I did not receive the rebate check within the above stated delivery dates. The company has failed to respond to my letter or distribute the rebate check as of 7/23/2014.Desired Settlement: Distribute refund check in the amount of $7.98 as originally promised on the rebate offer.

Business

Response:

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to address the consumers concerns. We researched the Mr. [redacted]’s contact information and found that his rebate check was mailed to the address provided on 06/24/2014. Based on his comments, it appears that he did not receive this correspondence and will contact our fulfillment house to stop payment and reissue another check.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because there are two rebate checks that I am expecting from the company. The check that they stated they issued on 6/24/2014 would be for the Finish Products that I purchased from Cub Foods in Woodbury, MN on 6/18/2014 in the amount of $10.18 for the rebate period of 6/15/2014-7/12/2014. I have yet to receive this rebate check as well. The rebate check originally in question is for Finish Products that I purchased from Cub Foods in Woodbury, MN on 3/19/2014 in the amount of $7.98 for the rebate period of 3/16/2014-4/12/2014. Attached are copies of the original receipts and UPC codes along with the advertised rebate offer from the company. I have yet to receive either rebate check as of 7/27/2014.

Business

Response:

As stated on rebate form, only one rebate per household / per person is allowed.
