This email is in response to case # [redacted] This response is delayed due to a change of email accounts and I was notified of this dispute today, July 29th, Jennifer has been a member of Charter Fitness dating back to October of Since October of [redacted] account for billing has declined times [redacted] originally joined for the basic membership and upgraded to a premium membership on August 10th As of August 10th [redacted] is under a month contractAfter fulfilling a month commitment [redacted] account would have automatically reverted to a month to month membership with no cancellation penaltiesAs of today, July 29th 2016, [redacted] is responsible for all chargers on her account [redacted] is correct in stating a name change took placeThe name change occurred on Saturday, December 13th of This process included new signage on the exterior of the building, email blast and signage in very visible, high traffic areas of the clubAfter speaking with our billing company ABC Financial, there is one record of [redacted] calling to cancel her membership on June 27th, (ABC records all of their in bound and out bound phone conversations)Our facility does not hold any record of [redacted] being turned away from RECLAIM Fitness, cancelling or inquiring about the name changeThe last noted record in our system of [redacted] entering the facility is November 29th to work outDuring the month of November [redacted] checked in to work out timesThere are not any notations in our system regarding any conversation with [redacted] regarding the erroneous complaintThis complaint is simply slander and a flat our lie"ALL" previous Charter Fitness contractual agreements prior to the name change were, and still are honored under the newly founded name RECLAIM Fitness including all terms and languageRECLAIM FITNESS, made no changes to the terms or fees associated with any type of membershipThis was simply a name changeOwnership and management to this day is unchanged and has remained the same for years [redacted] Owner/Founder RECLAIAM FITNESS [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:I called on separate occasions after the name change of this company to cancel membership and was told by a rep and also the owner that I did not have a member ship I have not been to this gym since November Furthermore, this membership was upgraded last august so that I could work out at any charter fitness, which was no longer the case after the name change I have been working at charter in tinley and mokena since I am absolutely not responsible for these charges, I made multiple attempts to cancel andcwas told I didn't have a membership

declined 48 times. [redacted] originally joined for the basic membership and upgraded to a premium membership on August 10th 2015. As of August 10th 2015 [redacted] is under a 12 month contract. After fulfilling a 12 month commitment [redacted] account would have automatically reverted to a month to month membership with no cancellation penalties. As of today, July 29th 2016, [redacted] is responsible for all chargers on her account. [redacted] is correct in stating a name change took place. The name change occurred on Saturday, December 13th of 2015. This process included new signage on the exterior of the building, email blast and signage in very visible, high traffic areas of the club. After speaking with our billing company ABC Financial, there is one record of [redacted] calling to cancel her membership on June 27th, 2016. (ABC records all of their in bound and out bound phone conversations). The last noted record in our system of [redacted] entering the facility is November 29th 2015 to work out. During the month of November 2015 [redacted] checked in to work out 9 times. There are not any notations in our system regarding any conversation with [redacted] regarding the erroneous complaint. This complaint is simply slander and a flat our lie. "ALL" previous Charter Fitness contractual agreements prior to the name change were, and still are honored under the newly founded name RECLAIM Fitness including all terms and language. RECLAIM FITNESS, made no changes to the terms or fees associated with any type of membership. This was simply a name change.
