We will not spend any additional work hours until Ms. [redacted] meets her contractual obligation of 1/3 down payment. Ms. [redacted] was not cooperative when discussing the payment agreements, even though she signed our contract. She complained about the charges for the work. As this is an insurance claim, the costing was approved by the homeowner's insurance company. She asked how much of the insurance money she could keep.(That's insurance fraud) Accounting advised her that the scope of work was agreed upon by her insurance company. Per the contract the insurance deductible and 1/3 down are due or we will stop work. She has failed to meet the 1/3 down obligation, thus the work stoppage.
