2nd response to complaint #***, Recovco Mortgage Management LLC is contracted to do quality control verifications on lender’s practices for previously closed loans and her employer was only contacted to verify information that was supplied by the lender at the time of the mortgage loan closing back I January of was true and accurate. As soon as we were notified of the borrower’s concerns, all further attempts to obtain any information were stopped While we understand her concerns, she is not our client, and we are not at liberty to divulge our client’s information. We are a contracted third party hired to do QC on a previous mortgage servicer and our requesting information was for this purpose only

[redacted] or anyone else from Recovco.  Their actions were never explained to me.  I did send [redacted] an email which still to this day has gone unanswered.  I still do not believe that Recovco is legitimate in their attempt to collect my personal information and would like this matter looked into further, as I believe this is an attempt to gather my personal information for illegal purposes.

Review: On [redacted]I was called by my close friend, who advised me a employee from above business was inquiring about if I was employed by [redacted]. The employee spoke with [redacted] secretary, [redacted] at ###-###-####. My good friend advised me this because I only volunteered at [redacted] from summer of 1996 to spring of 2010. I moved to Gladstone, MI., to be with my folks who are in their 80's. I am 100% DAV. I do not want my identity stolen and thus is the reason for this privacy complaint.Respectfully[redacted]PS. How did this worker even know I went to [redacted] ?Desired Settlement: As in the military (who, what, where, when & why), this mortgage company got my name and that knew I was a registered member of [redacted].

In response to complaint #[redacted], Recovco Mortgage Management LLC is contracted to do quality control verifications on lender’s practices for previously closed loans. [redacted] submitted a 1003 mortgage application in 2005 which stated he had been employed by [redacted] as a [redacted]; as part of our QC review, we contacted the number that was listed on said document ONLY to verify this information to be true and accurate. When told that the church did not want to verify, all contact ceased and no further attempts were made.

Review: I was contacted by my previous employer because on June [redacted] 2014 Recovco sent them a fax stating that “We at Recovco Mortgage Management are currently working on a review of a client’s mortgage portfolio, and are seeking a verification of employment for a borrower that had documented you as their previous employer”

They included a Request for Verification of Employment form and asked my previous employer to fill it out. They requested my date of employment, my present position, my probability of employment, my current gross wage pay base, the next date of my pay raise, and the projected amount of next pay raise.

My previous employer contacted me by phone to tell me about this and I asked him to send me a copy, of which he did right away. I have never heard of Recovco and I have not applied for any loans recently.

I found a phone number for Recovco online and have made several attempts to call and have left several voicemails requesting a call back, all of which have gone unanswered with the exception of a somebody by the name of [redacted] calling from a Florida phone number, who’s call I missed saying that she was returning my call from yesterday about information that I have about one of their clients. Apparently she doesn’t realize that her co-workers have already claimed that I AM a client and that they are trying to retrieve MY information. I called her back within 21 minutes of missing her call, and got her voicemail, in which I left a message for her to call me back and that now has gone unanswered. [redacted]’s call came in at on June [redacted] at 10:39 AM PT. I returned her call at 11:00 AM PT. Since then I have called her number more than a dozen times and am not able to get her on the phone.

I have also made to email attempts asking them what this was about, which have also gone unanswered.

I believe this is a fraudulent attempt to retrieve my personal information for identity theft purposes.Desired Settlement: I want to know who is requesting this information, where it is going, and why it was requested in the first place. Why do they claim that I am their client when I had never heard of this company
