There was an issue regarding my mailing address. I had not heard anything from GMAC, the company that my loan was set up with through Hallmark Home Mortgage. As I needed to make my first payment, I had not gotten anything from GMAC. I started to wonder if something was wrong. As I tried to express my concern to a person at Hallmark Home Mortgage, they laughed and said wait a few more weeks. Someone should have tried to find out what was going on, why I had not heard from GMAC. Laughing is not a professional response.
I tried to make contact with the person who did my loan and they did not want to respond back. I contacted GMAC and tried to find out where my paper work was for my house payment, and they said they did not have my correct address. When I did talk to the individual who set up my loan, they did say they misunderstood what my correct address was. This person seemed angry that I was concerned about what was going on with my house payment. ??? I do not not believe this!! A house payment is very important. I do not need to hear anyone tell me that what I was dealing with is normal and I am making too much out of all of this. The right response would have been for this person to understand that something was wrong and we needed to find out what is going on and get things corrected. This person made the smart remark of " HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND!"
Well... not getting the right response from two different people, I did talk to a couple of other people who were able to make everything clear about how my first payment was sent and they acknowledged that a house payment is very important. Very professional, unlike the other two people I dealt with.
Later, when I tried to talk about this bad experience with a manager at Hallmark Home Mortgage, they just blew me off and said "We have made changes since that happened." They did not sound very convincing.
Someone telling me that it is normal to send my first house payment through Hallmark Home Mortgage is not correct. GMAC told me that my first house payment should be sent to... GMAC!
I must say that I should have known that customer service at Hallmark Home Mortgage was not very good when the loan was first being put together. One person who was working with me on my loan did not seem like they knew what they were doing. They kept asking some of the same questions over and again.
In the end, customer service at Hallmark Home Mortgage can be looked at like this "Pay your money, if you have any concerns, stay out of our hair!" DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HALLMARK HOME MORTGAGE!

Recently my home was repaired after a terrible hailstorm. Recovery Roofing & Restoration did a fantastic job, in fact, all their workers were very polite, did excellent work, cleaned up completely after each day and answered/explained the job they were doing. Even the Owner/Project Managers/Supervisors pitched in to help and kept me totally informed. GREAT JOB! My house looks better than it did when new.
Also received a Thank you card with a BIG gift enclosed. THANK YOU [redacted] & [redacted]
It will be used towards new carpet for my "new home" you restored. I will recommend you to everyone looking for professional home repairs.
