This company was referred to me from S. I am a veteran, a fire fighter for 30 years, and was fighting cancer right after this company started working on my house. I paid them the 50% down on date that the asked. They put a dumpster in my driveway and did not start any work for about 30 days afterward. They had 2 handymen with no license do all the work. They left live wires behind the wall that I had to complain about multiply times before they hired a licensed electrician to do the repairs. He told me that my house could have burned down, if not repaired. They cut my carpet in my downstairs master bedroom and put a medal plate to cover up their mistakes. They damaged my intercom system and wanted to give me a $600 credit. They have not showed up for about 4 months and want a final payment for a unfinished job. They put a lien on my house and have filed a lawsuit. I am writing this letter to warn everyone not to use this company. They work very haphazardly on your house without a schedule, and with unprofessional workers. When you call the main office, you get excuses and the run around. .
Handling insurance claims during a CAT event can be a very lengthy and difficult process. Recromax as a company always strives to do our best working with the individual property owners, adjusters and insurance carriers on that one specific property. We can understand your frustrations in the length of time that it takes to get claims solved between all these properties. However, Recromax has completed this project to an even greater scope than allowed by your coverage. Recromax will address any concerns that you have however there still is a balance due for the work performed.
That's not the truth, the repairs started 2 years ago, and you just started asking for final payment about 4 months ago. I will add pictures of the unfinished and bad craftsmanship that your company performed. And your lawyer just send me a letter 2 weeks ago, requesting to complete a punch list. Read the other comments on Revdex.com. Everyone can't be wrong.
BEWARE. I am a Master Tradesman. 45 years in construction. Never have I seen a worst compilation of project managers to laborers. *** insurance hired them. Tore my house apart to remove mold about 2-22-19. Removed some of ceilings and walls in master bedroom and bath. Moved bedroom furniture haphazardly in the living room. Made walkway through 4 rooms to the bedroom, so whole house is a construction site. most of the workers SPEAK ONLY SPANISH, and are unskilled.
They come and go as they please, in and out of the house, across 4 rooms, with no advanced notice. ELECTRICAL WORK WITHOUT LICENSE.
Wrong insulation in ceiling. Drop ceiling done wrong twice.The Insurance company rarely responds to our phone calls. The date now is 4-9-19 and far from done. When I make contact I get excuses and lies. More to come.
This Company started out promising us everything in the world, But it came down to shabby and really terrible craftsmanship they replaced our Kitchen Cabinets old ones were all real wood new ones all partical wood and already warping after 2.1/2 years the plumbing they did was even worse had to get a plumber out to redo all of that work, then we had hardwood flooring in the master bedroom all warped when I reported this they asked if my wife stands on the floor after her shower wet!!!!! unbelievable I would not recommend them for any kind of work, here is the worst part when I called they said warranty was over. they ruined my home..
