Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: I was never informed of the damage waiver and being a responsible company one would think they would inform a customer as this is not common knowledge Also the company is still insulting me, although this time without cursingatme, by calling me a liar in their responce This company has lied here in this forum which shows their tue colors as a company The manager did exactly what I said he did and maybe if the company hired honest employees they would not have to continually unsult customers
Sincerely,

Dear [redacted] and the respected members of the Revdex.com,       At Recycling Connections we pride ourselves in the highest levels of customer service. In fact, these efforts are the leading cause of our A+ rating with the Revdex.com. Recycling Connections and our staff...

understand the responsibilities to the public. Our goal is to live up to our reputation and learn from our successes and struggles long the way.      Accepting, weighing, sorting, and selling scrap metal material from the general public is our job here at Recycling Connections. This process requires the seller to load the material in his/her truck and unload the material upon arrival at our facility. Most recycling centers, including Recycling Connections, are willing to assist with the unloading process when needed. However the unloading process is a risk accepted by the customer and is a common acceptance at any recycling center in the Denver Metro Area. Therefore any damages including scratches, dings, dents, flat tires, etc... cannot be the responsibility of Recycling Connections rather risk the customer accepts.      To address the complaint directly the customer indeed requested the need for someone to assist with the unloading process. In fact, this is stated in the customers opening line of the complaint; "I came to business and asked if they knew anybody who would want or could take the metal out of my truck." Not to be combative, but to state the facts correctly if there was no request for help this would not be the opening statement in the complaint nor would it seem reasonable to allow a perfect stranger to climb in your truck and unload heavy scrap metal material without permission. Further, the words exchanged between the customer and our (Assistant Manager) escalated because the customer was not receiving the answer he was looking for and the (Assistant Manager) couldn't provide that answer in the first place. When the conversation met a dead end our (Assistant Manager) decided to walk away. To assume our (Assistant Manager) did nothing wrong or couldn't have handled the situation better is a stretch, but the complaint of an aggressive attitude or the thought of our (Assistant Manager) attacking the customer is simply not true.      In conclusion, our efforts were to help a customer in need. This customer was in a lower leg cast and requested much needed assistance. Recycling Connections cannot accept responsibility for the damages to the truck. Although this is not a common occurrence, Recycling Connections will work with our staff and explore opportunities to better handle issues like this. A special thanks to the Revdex.com and the opportunity given to Recycling Connections to defend ourselves in this matter.

We at J Peters are disappointed to hear of your experience in our [redacted] store. I would like to reassure you that this is not how we do business, and conversations have taken place at the store level to ensure this. I would like to encourage you to come again so that we have the opportunity to make...

your experience right. Please allow me to offer you a $20 gift card so you will not incur the expense of allowing us to do so. Please call me at your convenience to arrange for your gift card.Sincerely, [redacted]CFO, JPA Mgmt Group(864) [redacted]

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2015/06/24) */
Customers copper pipe was mixed with brass fittings attached to it, and this is why it was called refinery brass and weighed with the other brass. When customer called not only the manager, but the yard foreman also went out and looked at...

material and it was confirmed that his copper had brass attachments with it. When manager got back on the phone he offered to have the customer come back in so that he could look at the material and resolve the issue, instead the customer opted not to come in and said he was going to take his business somewhere else.
