I am rejecting this response because: that is totally not what happened... as my first complaint said. we settled on a price for work to be done, and jed said 300 to 320 max!! for everything. parts and labor..as I was very hot and expressed the problem to jed, about the price being more than double what he said...and showed him the grease they got on my brand new seat cover that was just done 2 days before I took to shop.. oh he knew I was hot, don't know how they interpret that as being happy..I paid my bill got my bike and left.. now finding things they did not install correctly.. not hook up brake light wires to front brake... front brake cable holder uninstalled, it went thru the spokes while I was riding.. and radiator coolant very low now, below minimum level.. how can this be if the mechanic checks his own work after completion, and then shop manager checks too... im very unhappy about being charged more than double than what was quoted... happy my butt.. guess we can go to court about this.

Dear [redacted], customer came in originally and want valve adjustment witch was $100.00 we took valve cover off ,we found timing chain wore out, call [redacted] told him he agreed, then also he told Jed the service manager he would like to fix his front brake problem , needing a rotor and mastercylnder rebuild...

witch we did he agreed verb over phone as he was out of town. [redacted] pick up and seemed happy! Sincerely, [redacted]

With any prepaid maintenance I sell, you must use it at the selling dealer. I do go over this when we do the paperwork. I was unaware [redacted] was moving until I received a phone call from him that he had moved and was having trouble getting the service from his new local dealer. At this time I...

told him I would look into it and see If Kawasaki would make an exception and I would call him back. It states in the terms and conditions that [redacted] received in his paperwork packet under, YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.  Return Your Unit to Your Issuing Dealer as per the scheduled maintenance defined by the manufacturer. You must contact Your Issuing Dealer to schedule maintenance before returning Unit. It also states under CANCELLATION OF BENEFITS. This Agreement Plan is non-cancelable to You. The Issuing Dealer or lienholder may cancel the Agreement Plan in the event of repossession or total loss. We are a top selling dealer for Kawasaki contracts and this is my first attempt to cancel a non-cancelable contract. I used this to persuade Kawaski to "good will" this contract and make an exception. With any cancellation they prorate the remainder of the contract. In [redacted]'s case he purchased the contract on 08/18/2016 for $1200.00. Then cancelled the contract on 08/30/2017. This was 12 months into a 36 month contract. The prorated difference was $781.93. I stayed in contact with [redacted] throughout the entire process with phone calls and emails. I would be happy to send a copy of the contract signed by [redacted] if needed. I'm truly sorry for the confusion and never want a customer to feel like we at Red Bluff Yamaha would ever intentionally misrepresent ANY products we sell. Yes he is correct I did not have the owner call him back and that was definitely wrong on my part. however I was in contact with him and was doing everything possible to resolve the problem.  Thank You, [redacted]Sales ManagerRed Bluff Yamaha 530-527-1466

Here is the repair order invoice for [redacted] clearly show $412.79 in parts minus tax, we got a visit from [redacted] @ Bureau of Automotive repair to help resolve this ,he stated that Mr [redacted] would like $300. dollars back on repair, we agreed too . Next day [redacted] told us Mr [redacted] is now not happy with $300 now  whats $537.00. Never once did Mr [redacted] come back fix any problems, first time we heard any was on Revdex.com,im confused on what to do for him would like to make this right ... On saying that he did get $412.00 in parts on his bike ! Thank you

I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] specifically said to me in person “Any Kawasaki dealer in the country” which was a complete lie.  Also I do NOT believe a prepaid maintenance plan would be prorated like a warranty service. If someone cannot reason this point out they have a skewed sense of logic. Obviously cancelling a warranty after 12 months is a conflict of interest as your cancelling it after the risk period is over.  Pre paid maintenance is just paying you ahead of time for service fees.  If it IS stated that way in the contract then you are basically stealing from your customers.  And again while its only my word word on the way I was treated when contacting the dealer I believe the way it was handled by [redacted] is deceitful.  [redacted] should not have been in charge of handling this case and when asked to put me in contact with someone else he refused.

Review: went to get work done at red bluff Yamaha Polaris, in red bluff ca. they begun work and then tell me they dropped cam chain down motor while trying to adjust valves. so then I needed new cam chain and tensioner, and front rotor. was quoted 300-320 tops all together parts and labor. went to pick up bike and they say they quoted me 652.13..the hell they did!! wow price doubled.. no written estimate, no proper documentation, price doubled.. how is that legal?? everyone bewareDesired Settlement: would like the difference out of the 652.13 to be what they quoted me. 300-320 tops. just like they said..soo subtract 332.13 from the 652.13 it is the 320.
