*** ***Complaint ID # ***Due to the fact the home was built in there was some extreme settling since the installation of the stairs and the patioWe tried to rectify the situation and repair the patio but unfortunately we have to repair the patio againOne of our inspectors has taken
a look and we have a date scheduled for repair

To whom it may concern,[redacted] and I have discussed the issue and we are resolving the issue. We did service the sealant and than [redacted] was not calling the office line so the communication was displaced. The service can not take place until the weather is warmer and the sealant can seal...

appropriately. It is EXTREMELY unfortunate the issue had to go to the Revdex.com and not directly to me or my business partner. Red Carpet Remodeling is a small business that puts our hearts and souls into making homeowners happy.[redacted] and [redacted] we be taken care of like all our clients in the past decade.Best,Kenneth L[redacted]

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
The ultimate proposed resolution of the issue is 'O.K'
However, events are mis-characterized in the response.
i.e. My wife called back on the phone # provided by the 'Siding Mgr.' Andy - the one that didn't show up to fix the faulty first effort fix - approximately a dozen messages were left.
Also both principals / owners were contacted via direct e-mail ( outside of the Revdex.com complaint) Jack K[redacted] on February 6th and Kenneth L[redacted] on February 18th.  First response contact from ownership came on March 2nd.
Again, we are working to resolve as soon as weather is appropriate, but, the fix should have come many months ago and well before more than 15 contacts with the company went without any suitable responses
Unfortunately, I cannot consider this resolved until the actual work is done.  I trust the latest plan will be executed, but, until it is done . . .
Regards,[redacted]

[redacted]Complaint ID #: [redacted]We have re worked the J-channel corners, re worked the leaking area around the electrical box, and sealed foam tube covering the electrical wires.

Review: I hired this company to build our deck and patio which they did. We had them installed LED deck stair lights which was part of the project. The LED lights doesn't work anymore and it is still under warranty. I have called them for a few months, every time I called them, all I was told is someone is going to call me back which it never happened. After calling them many times and being very patient with them, I decided to file a complaint with Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I would like them to fix the lights.

To whom it may concern,

Review: I signed a contract for new windows and doors in November of 2012. I was promised 4-6 weeks for installation. It took about 3 months before we received the windows. I was told that I would not have to make any payments until I was completely satisfied with the product. There were many issues with the product and the installers had to return numerous times to replace faulty windows. This took many months and they even replaced the wrong windows. Finally in late May they came back for a final repair(we hope) I signed off on the windows which I still wasn't completely happy with but they did provide me with a lifetime warranty to fix any issues that may arise. I received my 1st bill, it was for $460/month. When I signed the contract it was supposed to be $291/month. I took this bill to see [redacted] in early July, he confirmed that was the quote (and said it was his handwriting). He said that they switched the finance companies and that was the new payment plan and assured me that he would look into this and get back to me within a couple of days. We were never informed of any finance changes from the time we signed the contract in November. My calls go unanswered and we can not afford this. We now have to pay about 160% of what we were quoted or our credit will be ruined, and unfortunately we can not pay other bills. Something needs to be done about this. Even with the windows not being delivered when promised(or even close to the quoted date), taking many months to fix the issues, I can swallow that, but having to be out all of this extra money from a bait and switch and them not getting back to us is highly unethical. Changing financing without notifications is unacceptable.Desired Settlement: I would like Red Carpet remodeling to pay the difference of what we were quoted each month or pay us the lump sum to "re-finance" this loan to bring it down to the quoted amount.

Response:

We apologize for the delay in getting your project finished. The extended lead time wasn't intentional. We've done countless window projects that finish in 4 -6 weeks. We had several hiccups that prolonged us to complete the work, most of which were from [redacted] (our window manufacturer). There were huge palladian windows (shaped windows) that were custom. Most of those huge window grid patterns had to align perfectly under a set of windows or sliding door (which gave the manufacturer issues). We never ran from the problem or asked the [redacted] family to pay before being completely satisfied. RCR brought the [redacted] window manufacturer service technician and [redacted] regional sales representative down to address the ongoing issues. We have thousands of happy replacement window customers and want you to feel that same way too. We have reached out several times by phone and email to rectify the issue. We're willing to help resolve this issue soonest, once we hear back.

Review: Red Carpet installed a paver patio in the spring of 2013. Several of the pavers along the edge have become loose and pose a danger if unknowlingly stepped on. We have called Red Carpet numerous times and left messages to have them come repair and resolve the issue. We were told at first that someone would call us back and schedule an appointment but we never received that call. We have since left many messages but now no one will return our call.Desired Settlement: We want the pavers repaired and the patio resanded before other pavers shift and the problem gets worse which is IAW the service warranty.

Response:

We greatly apologize to [redacted] and [redacted] for the slow response time on their service policy. My business partner and I pride ourselves on making sure the amazing warranties we offer mean something and we follow through with our promises. Our reputations mean everything to us. Obviously, we failed the [redacted] on the vital service component of our small business. When the service was first called in we thought our technician went out that week. When we heard the service was not situated we immediately responded and sent our patio crew out to their home on Saturday, the 21st of December to rectify the issue. Again, we apologize the inconvenience and if their are any future questions or concerns than please feel free to contact us.
