Purchased second vehicle from Red Deer motors January Talked into "Extended Warranty package" (approx $1500) as it "covers EVERYTHING bumper-to-bumper" Asked about basics: parts, towing, strandedwas reassured that I would have "NO issues for months....Only thing I had to concern myself with was regular maintenance: Oil Changes, FlushesReimbursed when strandedblah blah blah" More than I wanted to pay, but agreed, based on information toldFast forward months later; broken down vehicle in Calgary with my year old son, in -weather Contacted " AMAZING Warranty Company" WELLinformation was COMPLETELY misleading Had to arrange OWN tow back to Red Deer; cost of being stuck in Calgary hotel for days NOT reimbursed as we were 158kms from destination and their requirement is 160kmsYes, KILOMETERS! apparently when you are 158kms in the middle of winter, you should be able to push your vehicle to your destination Due to terrible weather, [redacted] (AMAZING PEOPLE!) was dealing with 12-hour response times; even longer for us as tow was from Calgary to Red DeerSo, in the end, there is NO coverage what-so-ever for repairs or emergency accommodations Warranty rep handling claim keeps talking about "vehicle hitting a deer" - though there is NO body damage, and no way to hit a deer when vehicle could not move Although Warranty fine print states that they will cover rental car up to $75/day while vehicle is in repair shop; this too was shut down as while stuck in Calgary, there were NO repair shops open for vehicle to be at(Saturday, December 10th & Sunday, December 11th); and if there WERE repair shops open, there was no available tow trucks to have vehicle taken in until after Midnight Monday, December 12thContacted Red Deer Motors who refuse to offer any assistance No longer their problem; vehicle was not there concern as of January 9th, when it left their lotA previous repeat customer who will NEVER deal with this dealership again, nor recommend anyone doesI will note, after repeat calls to "manager" of Red Deer Motors stating very unhappy former customer, he did arrange a "discount" on a battery in Red Deer for me to pick up and have installed at my expense So, thank you, for the $discount on what will be at least a $1500+++ expense(if we are lucky)

Purchased second vehicle from Red Deer motors January 2016. Talked into "Extended Warranty package" (approx $1500) as it "covers EVERYTHING bumper-to-bumper". Asked about basics: parts, towing, stranded... was reassured that I would have "NO issues for 36 months....Only thing I had to concern myself with was regular maintenance: Oil Changes, Flushes... Reimbursed when stranded... blah blah blah" More than I wanted to pay, but agreed, based on information told.
Fast forward 11 months later; broken down vehicle in Calgary with my 10 year old son, in -30 weather. Contacted " AMAZING Warranty Company"
WELL... information was COMPLETELY misleading. Had to arrange OWN tow back to Red Deer; cost of being stuck in Calgary hotel for 2 days NOT reimbursed as we were 158kms from destination and their requirement is 160kms. Yes, 2 KILOMETERS! 2... apparently when you are 158kms in the middle of winter, you should be able to push your vehicle to your destination. Due to terrible weather, [redacted] (AMAZING PEOPLE!) was dealing with 12-36 hour response times; even longer for us as tow was from Calgary to Red Deer.
So, in the end, there is NO coverage what-so-ever for repairs or emergency accommodations. Warranty rep handling claim keeps talking about "vehicle hitting a deer" - though there is NO body damage, and no way to hit a deer when vehicle could not move. Although Warranty fine print states that they will cover rental car up to $75/day while vehicle is in repair shop; this too was shut down as while stuck in Calgary, there were NO repair shops open for vehicle to be at. (Saturday, December 10th & Sunday, December 11th); and if there WERE repair shops open, there was no available tow trucks to have vehicle taken in until after Midnight Monday, December 12th.
Contacted Red Deer Motors who refuse to offer any assistance. No longer their problem; vehicle was not there concern as of January 9th, 2016 when it left their lot.
A previous repeat customer who will NEVER deal with this dealership again, nor recommend anyone does.
I will note, after repeat calls to "manager" of Red Deer Motors stating very unhappy former customer, he did arrange a "discount" on a battery in Red Deer for me to pick up and have installed at my expense. So, thank you, for the $10 discount on what will be at least a $1500+++ expense. (if we are lucky)
