Review: I was notified that we had been banned from the casino and we have no idea why. We want to appeal this action.Desired Settlement: We are requesting that Red Hawk send us an email notifying us why we received a lifetime ban from the casino.

Response:

We have made several attempts to return Mrs. [redacted]'s phone calls and left voicemails asking that she return our call. To date, we have not received a call from her but have heard from her via email. Mrs. [redacted] has been given the direct line for Red Hawk Casino's V.P. of Security who will be happy to discuss the terms of the ban with her during normal business hours.

Review: I got a new cell phone number in June 2014 and shortly after I switched to the new number I started receiving advertising text messages from Red Hawk Casino. The end of the text indicted to send the word "STOP" to prevent further spamming. That did not work, so I called the casino and talked to some gal. During our phone conversation she told me she had removed me from the contact list. After the initial call I did not receive any more text messages for approximately 5 months. At the start of the new year I began receiving text messages. I have since received text messages from Red Hawk on the following days: Jan 5 2015, Jan 10 2015 (I replied "STOP"), Jan 13 2015 (I replied "STOP"), Jan 17 2015 (I replied "STOP"), Jan 20 2015 (I replied "STOP"), Jan 24 2015, Jan 26 2015, Feb 6 2015 (I replied "STOP"). These text messages are advertisements for jackpots or upgrades to elite membership - none of which I have any interest in.Desired Settlement: I don't really care that someone else gave Red Hawk this phone number before I came to have the number -- I have called Red Hawk, been told I was removed from their list, and have used the "STOP" reply to get Red Hawk to stop spamming me. I don't gamble and have no desire to receive text messages of any kind from Red Hawk, or any business for that matter. All I want Red Hawk to do is stop sending me text messages -- forever. I really don't think that request is outrageous. Thank you.

Response:

After receiving this complaint, we contacted the guest directly regarding the issue. According to our records, no messages had ever been sent to the guest from our database. In addition, we contacted our vendor who handles social media advertising and confirmed that messages were never sent to this guest. Finally, we discovered that the guest had a 2nd phone number attached to her current phone that rolled its messages over onto her current phone. That being said, if another guest owned that number in the past, they could be receiving the messages which are then being rolled over onto the above guests current phone. As it stands, we advised the guest to contact her provider and try to obtain the 2nd number. If she can do this (and provide it to us), we can then delete that number from our database and the issue should resolve itself.
