To whom it may concern, In response to complaint case# [redacted], the vehicle was towed in and would not start. It was determined that the pass lock sensor was inoperative and not sending the proper signal to the body control module and was preventing the car from starting. It was...

replaced and the vehicle started and ran fine. The car was brought back in because a brake line rusted through and needed to be replaced. When I went to pull the car in it would not start. After testing and replacing the passlock sensor again l determined that It was still sending the proper signal and the problem must lie with the BCM, "body control module". I tried to find one to replace it with that matched her vehicle but could not. The testing was time intensive and it did take awhile to try and find a replacement BCM . I could not find one to match and informed Ms: [redacted] that the car needed to be taken to a GM dealer.. because the BCM needed to programmed to the car and our shop does not have the equipment ne.eded to perform this operation. We do apologize for the length of time that it took to arrive at this determination. Thank You, [redacted], Red Jenkins Auto

Review: In August of 2015, my car broke down on my way to work. I had [redacted] tow my car to Red Jenkins auto. A Week later, I picked up my car and paid for the repairs on my debit card. After I paid for the repair, I noticed that was difficult to start my car. The next day I took my car back to Red Jenkins. Since then me and my mother have went to the shop by ourselves and together and we heard many excuses about why the car is not fixed. For Example , one of the employees told us one week that no one wrote a ticket for the car to be repaired. Kenny told us another week that the part that he put in my car was defective and that he had to order another part. Kenny told us another week that he think something else is wrong with the vehicle. My mother and I been calling the shop once sometimes twice a week to check on the car. I have paid for the repairs with my debit card and I'm tired of calling the shop begging Kenny to fix the car. The car has been parked at the shop for over a month in the same parking spot. I called the shop this morning and Kenny said that he is trying to work on the car. I believe that it's unacceptable to hold someone's car for over a month and I already had to bring it back to the shop because the car wasn't repaired the first time they had the vehicle.Desired Settlement: I just want my car fixed in a timely fashion this time. I don't want to have to bring the car back to the shop again because the car wasn't repaired.
