To whom it may concern, In response to complaint case# [redacted] , the vehicle was towed in and would not startIt was determined that the pass lock sensor was inoperative and not sending the proper signal to the body control module and was preventing the car from startingIt was replaced and the vehicle started and ran fineThe car was brought back in because a brake line rusted through and needed to be replacedWhen I went to pull the car in it would not startAfter testing and replacing the passlock sensor again l determined that It was still sending the proper signal and the problem must lie with the BCM, "body control module"I tried to find one to replace it with that matched her vehicle but could notThe testing was time intensive and it did take awhile to try and find a replacement BCM I could not find one to match and informed Ms: [redacted] that the car needed to be taken to a GM dealerbecause the BCM needed to programmed to the car and our shop does not have the equipment ne.eded to perform this operationWe do apologize for the length of time that it took to arrive at this determinationThank You, [redacted] , Red Jenkins Auto
