To whom it may concern,I sincerely apoligize for what the guest had to face while hereWe feel bad that they are stilt unhappy even though we came to a solution together and the guest was satisfied at the time.The guest made a complaint that one of the rooms wasn't cleaned when they checked in There was a communication error between housekeeping and our front desk so we thought the room was clean when we assigned itWe have taken this situation under consideration to correct our mistakeWe upgraded the guest to a jacuzzi suite and gave 50% off their night.The guest made a complaint that their other room had bugs in itWe upgraded the guest to a jacuzzi suite and comped their nightAs soon as they moved rooms we sent our Chief Engineer to check the room and take and procautionary steps as neededHe reported no bugs in the room.As a large Hotel it is necessary to take any and all procautionary measures against bugs which is why we have Orkin come in monthly for routine checks and preventative steps as wellUnfortuanately that is not 100% every time and if bugs are brought into our Hotel our trained staff is preparedI apoligize again for the inconviencesPlease let me know if I can be of any further assistance.Thank youSincerely,Shay P***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Sincerely, [redacted] To Whom It May Concern:After reviewing MsP [redacted] response to Revdex.com of Alaska, Oregon &, Western Washington regarding mycomplaint against the Red Lion Hotel Tacoma, I like to remind Ms [redacted] of the verbal discussion heldon Monday, March at 7:30p Central TimeWe discussed the bed bug matter and how disappointedI was when no one from your agency made any attempt to contact me regarding the issues until Ireported the matter to the Washington State Health DepartmentMsP [redacted] mentioned that she wasnow the current manager and was not employed there doing the time of the bed bug incident and sharedyour apologize and also mentioned that no bed bug issues was found when the Department of Healthinvestigated your agencyThis statement is untrue based on the report submitted by the WashingtonState Department of Health (see the attached)This particular room (132) was infested with bed bugsduring our stay January through January 31, 2016) as indicated by Orkin Pest control (one of theRed Lion Hotel contracted vendors the Washington State Board of Health Investigation Report.Also, the investigator from the Washington State Health Department had difficulties locating the room,because the Red Lion Hotel Tacoma Management listed an incorrect room number on the invoice.Luckily, I was able to provide the correct room number so that the investigation could be conducted.Due to the findings of the Washington State Department of Health which was submitted to me on4/l/2016, it was discovered that bed bugs were found in the hotel room where my family and I lodged(see the attached report) Also, during my conversation with MsP***, it was discussed/agreed that the cost for the number daysstayed in the Red Lion Hotel will be reimbursed to my husband, [redacted] 's Visa Card (acctnumber is mentioned on the attached invoice)Secondly, it was discussed/agreed that payment wouldbe provided to cover the cost of medical services provided to me and my familyPlease note the medicalpayment (including co~payment and patient medical cost) is expected as indicated on the attachedinvoice I have provided all information necessary to prove that your facility was negligent in providing a safeand healthy environment for its constituentsIn the interim, I am requesting the following paymentsimmediatelyThe payment breakdown is as follows: ***corresponding documents redacted by the Revdex.com [redacted]

This is in response to complaint ID #*** Originally we refunded the guest their entire stay plusthe medical.co-pays that she requested in her initial complaintThe total came to $The guest isnow stating that she wants her medical bills covered which is an additional $I got theauthorization to reimburse the guest for that pending proof that she paid itWe need some sort ofreceipt or bank statementWhen I let the guest know this she became irate and verbally abusive sayingto just give her the money and she wont be providing any additional documentationI will attempt tocontact her doctor's office to confirm payment
We will not attempt to contact the guest any further after today due to her outburst and inappropriatecomments

To whom it may concern,This is in response to guest complaint #[redacted]. Upon our further research regarding the guest'scomplaint the only information we have was a complaint made to the Health Department CityOfficials. The Health Department came in and did an extensive inspection due to this...

complaint andfound no evidence of bed bugs. Our research included the guest's folio, maintenance logs, and frontdesk shift reports. There are not reports from the guest or staff of any complaints of bed bugs.
Our priority as a Red Lion Hotel is to guarantee our guests a safe and comfortable stay here. Weassure you we take the proper precautions to avoid issues of this manner such as professionals(Orkin) coming in for monthly checks and procedures to ensure quality and avoidance of futureissues. Also our maintenance staff is on call day and night for any guest needs.
We apologize our guest had a bad experience while traveling. We have spoken to them and haveresolved the case personally. We strive to provide our guests with a pleasant stay and greatexperience.Thank youBest Regards,

There was a communication error between
