Dear [redacted] ,I received your letter on the complaint about our Water Authority, I would like to respond by saying that some ofcomplaint was not accurate.The customer did call our ot?ce and inform us of her mistakeAt that point she was informed that when we received theletter from the bank, she would be noti?ed by a hand delivered letter explaining our rules and regulations by the WaterAuthorityShe would need to make good on her lnsuflicient funds check plus $bank fee in cash or money orderShethen went on line and made a credit card payment on her accountShe was informed that the credit card payment wenttoward her account but we still needed the insut?clent funds and fee in cash or money order, We hand delivered a letterto her door explaining that she had until 8AM Monday, December 4, to have the amount of $in our office.The letter also explained if this was not paid her water senrice would be terminated and an additional $turn On feewould he chargedi spoke with her several time: and extended the time twiceThe ?nal date was Wednesday,December I tried to contact her landlord several times to no success to pull her meterWe received a moneyOrder Friday morning for $The total due at this time was $We were not able to shut her water off due tonot getting e response from her landlordWe decided to still charge the $turn on fee due to the time put in dealingwith her on phone calls and also trying to contact the landlord.I have discussed the $turn on fee with the Superintendent and we have decided to wave the feeWe were followingthe rules and regulations of the Water Authority and had even extended her timeWith that being said I feel we werebeing fair with her.Lori G [redacted] .Red Lion Municipal AuthorityOf?ce Manager

I spoke with her several time: and extended the time twice. The ?nal date was Wednesday,December 6. 2017. I tried to contact her landlord several times to no success to pull her meter. We received a moneyOrder Friday morning for $120.00. The total due at this time was $160.73. We were not able to shut her water off due tonot getting e response from her landlord. We decided to still charge the $50 turn on fee due to the time put in dealingwith her on phone calls and also trying to contact the landlord.I have discussed the $50 turn on fee with the Superintendent and we have decided to wave the fee. We were followingthe rules and regulations of the Water Authority and had even extended her time.
