the package the shoes were missing. Below is my response to that complaint.
I have been a "ebayer" since 2003. I have bought and sold nearly 500 items. Honesty and integrity are paramount with every transaction as reflected by my feedback rating - which is 100% positive. With every item I sell I take precautionary measures to protect the security of the sale. I personally handle the shipping process.
With this particular sale no corners were cut during the shipping process. I was directly responsible for handling the shipping/handling process and the shoes were inside the Nike box when I sealed the package. This can also be confirmed by the weight of the package. An empty shoe box and shipping box weighs around one pound and this package with the shoes weighed 3.2 pounds as indicated on the shipping receipt. The package was handed to our mail carrier for delivery. The item was delivered at 4:38 pm on June 30, 2014 in SPRINGFIELD GARDENS, NY 11413. Tracking Number: [redacted]
What I know is the package with the shoes inside was in my possession until it was handed to the mail carrier. What I don't know and didn't control over was what happened to the shoes between the time they left my house for delivery and when the buyer opened the package. Please be aware that the buyer acknowledged that they didn't personally receive the package because they were out of town when the package arrived and someone else did.
