Ashlee did not follow the plan drawn up in the contract. the permit shows where they put the posts because they started work without a permit. The shape is not the same and the area where the fence line deviated is the portion on our neighbor's property

As per our phone conversation this morning, a crew will be out to roll top the privacy fence and replace a poplar board, this afternoon We will not be staining the fence WE DO NOT STAIN FENCES We have done everything stated on the proposal given

Evidence by the location of the fence and the shape compared to the contract. They were not instructed by us on where to put the fence. Furthermore, Ashlee has a professional and legal obligation to ensure no one's property is encroached onThey built the fence without a signed contract or a permit. Under tort law they are obligated to move the fence and compensate damages to our neighbor.

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Ashlee fence sub-contracted the job out and the sub-contractors did not have the paperwork that was in the attached contract in Ashlee's response The sub-contractor did not follow the drawn up plan on the contract The permit was given based on the drawn up plans on the contract The sub-contractor started work on their own and I made the assumption they had the drawn up plans but apparently they just guessed on fence placement This is their error and needs to be covered bu their insurance.

When Bob spoke to you on 9/18/15, he stated that we would roll top the privacy fence We will have a crew take care of roll topping the fence within the next or two We do not offer watersealing or staining of fences, therefore we are not providing any waterseal or stain.We apologize for

I emailed b4 I called on Sept. 14 when I left a voice message, online thru their website. Then I had to follow up with the company again days later, as not one person seemed worried a paying customer was upset with the work their crew had done. No one calls with updates; and it's not my fault their crew said I would receive fence waterproofing, I expect it. Just like I expected good craftsmanship, but I didn't get that either! Nails are missing, and my fence top is still straight across!Also, I expect this work to be done, but seeing as how it's been 3 week since my calls/emails; I don't think it's ever going to be done. I had to initially call to chase this company around so I know for sure they are going to be slow and indecisive as to how resolve my issue. If my PAID customer was upset, I'd run out to fix it. I think these folks just don't care. I call, leave messages with Gary, with the voicemail service and STILL NO ONE CALLS ME BACK. This is the only way, thru the Revdex.com, that I can protect myself! I paid in full, yet I still wait for my fence to be finished. SURPRISE. I went off what their crew told me. Why should I not trust the crew they send out to my house? But I guess they lied too. Now three weeks later, again I still have no work being done. The excuses are old. We don't have a crew, boohoo....I have a fence that isn't dog eared as per our written estimate, instead I have flat top, ugly fence, still waiting for it to be round topped everyday. There are only a few days left of good weather in Cincinnati, yet n o o n e from ASHLEE FENCE cares. What a shame this company does such poor work. I should have went with [redacted] the entire time. At least they called me back.I'm not cutting a fence I PAID IN FULL TO BE ROUND TOPPED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This situation is easy to resolve, Do what I want. Do the work you said(your crew said) would be done. Bring the waterproofing too. Don't lie, don't' give me excuses, just do the work. I don't have an issue seeking out my lawyer to get this resolved if this initially doesn't get me the resolution I desire. I'm sure I won't be using Ashlee Fence for anything else in the future!

After fighting with the owners, we have finally gotten the fence finished. The cedarboard that was damaged was thankfully replaced by the leftover project wood from the previous crew from Ashlee Fence. They did not bring their own wood, even after I clearly asked for it to be replaced, both in my emails, in my phone call with Gary and then on the Revdex.com complaint.I have learned my lesson about fence companies from all these mistakes I've been put through. Again, the other crew, who obviously is incorrect in offering me the Stain / waterproofing for my fence, so that part of the complaint was not followed.  Instead of making up for the wrong doings of the last crew, they argue and fight with me about the waterproofing, when ALL I EXPECTED was what the crew to drop off the five gallon bucket, but alas, the work is done, and I am pleased I don't have to deal with them anymore. This fence job was over six months.I don't expect anything else from this company, and if the fence is ever damaged, I"ll call someone else to rebuild it. The attitude was that I did something wrong, when I'm the customer but it was hard to get them to cater to my needs. I waited a long time to have this work done in my yard, and for a fence company to make me wait like Ashlee did is just ridiculous. I had to chase them around; had I not complained to the Revdex.com, my fence would still be waiting to be finished! Thanks Revdex.com for protecting the consumer.

In response to this complaint, it clearly states on the proposal that the customer is responsible for the permit and the property lines. Sincerely,Bob D[redacted]Ashlee Fence Enterprises, Inc.

If the customer would have had a survey done this would have never happened.  The installers put the fence where the customer showed them to put it.  We clearly state on the proposal that customer is responsible for property lines if there are no property pins.
