Cashier scanned lottery (***) tickets(2). Cashier informed me that the tickets were not winners ($0). I asked for the tickets back. I checked the *** numbers online and found out I should have received $10. Called the store to talk to a manager. The person said to come back tomorrow morning to see the manager. I went the next morning to find out the manager is not there. I asked when I could see the manager and was told they can't give out the managers schedule. I asked for a managers name and they said "***".
I'm concerned not only for myself, but others may be scammed also. The screen to see lottery winnings is behind the counter.
The customer was told to come back to the store, the following day to receive his $10. He came when the manager was not in yet, an hour before her shift in the morning. The clerk was unaware of the situation and told him to contact the manager, ***. We noticed the *** mistake after we closed that day and saw we were short 10 dollars in the lottery. The customer knew the managers' name and when she came in and still came in before her shift, we had the money aside, in the office.
