The customer's awning was installed on Monday, May 15th We are a business that relies heavily on the weather cooperating Being that it is out of control, we get behind For every day it rains or there are high winds, it sets us back approximately customers We have had
an exceptionally rainy and windy spring season here in Pittsburgh Some customers do not like to recognize that but it is our reality We CANNOT and WILL NOT have our installers, erecting awnings in the aformentioned conditionsIf the person in this complaint is unhappy, I"m sure any other awning company can attest to this fact There is no further issue because the awning is already erected

The Association at [redacted] schedules installation and removal of the awnings.  They had chose the WEEK of May 2nd through the 6th for installation, not the day of. That is not in our control so that is something the home owner will have to take up with their association....

 Several customers from [redacted] were told this, including Mr. [redacted].  The awnings were finally erected on May 10th a little late due to inclement weather.  Being that [redacted] home owners have been with our company for a number of years, they know we get behind due to heavy rain and winds, this year being no exception.  As far as the telephone goes, I have 4 lines to answer and I am one person.  If I am on a line and another rings, that call will go to voicemail.  I try to call everyone back but sometimes because we are extremely busy this time of year, I am unable to do so.  I did speak to Mr and Mrs [redacted] twice so I'm not sure why there is confusion.Thank you,A.Mamaux and Son

A. Mamaux and Son, Inc. was unaware of any of this.  We were going through the list of customers that still owed us money and the [redacted]'s were one so we sent the invoice.  I have no record of a complaint from them with the install in Spring 2014.  They have 8 awnings in total...

and  if we were notified of an error installation of that many awnings, we would surely have taken care of it.  I have received no phone calls or messages via voicemail from this customer, so I'm not sure what they are referring to. We performed the service of hanging 8 awnings and we should be paid.  We were never given the chance to correct an issue we did not know about. We also repaired this customer's awning braid free of charge.  I cannot assume our installation was at fault when a customer states there was wind damage.  We are not liable for damage caused by wind damage. Thank you,A.Mamaux and Son
