My husband [redacted] set up amortization payment on our $bill, $of it was paid leaving a $balance which was amortized I did not have my bill with me at work and paid my current charges that were listed online $10/20/ Then I received a notice saying that my payment was late with a $late fee Supervisor [redacted] called me back and stated that I was supposed to pay my current charges PlUS the amortization amount My bill list CURRENT CHARGES as service for the previous month with the amortization amount added in Current charges is located at the top right hand corner of the bill When you go online to pay the current charges the amortization amount is not reflected in that balance, per *** [redacted] kept saying over and over that I was supposed to pay the current charges plus the amortization and the amortization is not listed in the current charges online Which clearly it is on the bill How am I supposed to know that the current charges listed

Just moved to Redding had trouble locating their business until there employee showed up and turned service offFrom him I learned of company name and location to pay the billI had money paid them but now they will now waive hookup charges and deposit even though I paid their bill and explained I didn't have their phone number or information until that dayI am new to Redding and paid the billI had good creditMy phone had to be replaced at that time and I didn't have their phone number and the rental agency is difficult to get through to move forward I am disabled and it was a exstreem hot spell and I had no cooler all dayI can't afford all their charges and tryed to work with them but they do not work with peopleit's like I'm just a number to them and they advise me to ask for assistance else whereThey could see I had the money for the bill and paid they $on the spot and I came to their office within minutes to resolve the issue

I have never dealt with such rude and unbending customer service repsI have an excellent history with *** but they refuse to accept the reference letter providedThey want a $depositI have been charged late fee after late fee because I won't pay the deposit even though my account is currentRedding is a beautiful city however, these people know they're the only electric provider so it seems to be acceptable to treat customers however they pleaseI am in the customer service industry and if any of my employees ever treated a customer like I have been treated, they would be unemployed

I recently bought a home in Redding and called to register servicesThe company requires all persons over in home to provide social security numbers before activationI am the sole owner of home and do not see why my girlfriend had to leave work to go in and provide her info if it's going to be in my name

Every month I get a bill from this company and they automatically include a $LATE FEE I got my bill in the mail on January 14, The bill shows the Account number, current charges $158.36, TOTAL ACCOUNT BALANCE $158.36, Date Due 02/09/ You look farther down the bill to the summary and it states there is a miscellaneous charge of $ When you look on the back of the bill the miscellaneous charge is a $late fee How can they charge a Late fee when the bill is not late at the time they send you the bill? I'm sure there are a lot of people who pay the current charges when they pay there bill

Redding Electric Utility is a business that scamming their community customers for profitThere are more fees than necessary added on to your monthly bill which vertually makes it impossible for you to pay your bill if you fall behind a littleThey encourage you to go to services that help pay electric bill instead of trying to work out a payment plan just so that they get all of the money at onceI will be looking into going solar or using a generator for the moment to send them a message and I hope more redding citizens will ban together and do the sameIf we hurt their bottom line this is the only way we can put a stop to this practice
